It is very difficult to detach yourself from the worries of the day during prayers... And it is by practicing and watching Scholars like in these videos, by persevering in listening and reading the Qor'aan while trying to understand Suratt, that we manage to find Allah and connect with Him SWT, everywhere. So, thanks a lot to this channel for what it brings to us. Cause it opens our eyes, and soothes us. Barak Allah fikom.

Indeed it is important to recenter and be in the present when connecting with our Creator. Being still and embracing silence has become difficult for many living in fast paced environments. JazakAllah khair for the reminders and helping us refocus.

"Hudiyta li’l-fitra" , this video reminded me of a piece written by Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad titled "The Sunna as Primordiality".
    Alhamdulilah

Salamm Aleikum Thank you for the reminder. We have to seaz and seek the moment. The only thing that we have is a moment.INSHA- ALLAH we can be more conscience of Allah. Corona is forcing us to be more aware, focus and be mindful of our decision for each decision that we make. May Allah guidance and protection lead us through these challenging times.

    Walaikum As-Salam!
Thank you for this insightful session Adballah, its 6:30 am in India when the session goes live, so i have made the niyah to wake up a little earlier before Sehr and pray Qiyam al Layl also watch your video to make use of this beautiful last third of the night. Insha'Allah i will benefit from these lessons as this is a practice i intent to incorporate in my daily life not just during Ramadan.
Very truly, we struggle to be present, to be ibn al waqt and i look forward to the upcoming midnight moments and learn from them as to how we can best plan our lives and days to make use of this hour when we can be so close to our Creator.
I have a small request, if you can also share some tips as to how we can plan in a way to get sufficient sleep as well not to mess up our jobs during the day and also ward off the imagined/real fears that comes to the mind/heart of being awake at this hour of the night.

Jazaka’Allah Khair, very timely topic. I love the notion of being in a state of Muslim to meaning being present with our present really. I wonder in future session if you can talk about any conflict/alignment between mindfulness/meditation practice based on eastern philosophy and the kind of presence you will be teaching in these sessions?
    Thank you.

    Ramadan Mubarak.
My simple understanding of presence is not dwelling on the 'if only' or 'why' of the past, and not being too fearful or anxious of the future. In much forgiveness.
However, how do you stop emotional ghosts from past and unanswered questions ruining your presence? Much appreciated.

I am so excited to share this journey with you.. “ presence” has been a key point in my spiritual journey.. and I happy to connect with the Islamic perspective of it..
I became familiar with the concept from spiritual teachers who are not Muslim..I am curious if these concepts have been in our Islamic heritage/ philosophy.. and did any Islamic scholar talk about this in his teachings.. I understand of course that all these ideas in essence are in the core of our Islamic faith but just was curious if this perspective was formally approached before..
    Thanks 🙏🏻

I find the connection between psychology and Islam when elucidated by you interesting. I am involved in a project which aims to share self-development content through an Islamic lens so your two reminders thus far have resonated a lot. Can you share details of your work and how we may communicate or support or have you as a future guest?

    Assalamu-Alaikum
I just watched the nice video about "presence ".
What is the difference between "presence " & "focus ". Are these the same and interchangeable or the two are related to the mind and the heart, respectively?
    Jazak-Allah for the guidance!
