Niue Limu Pools Drone Footage

This is drone footage from the island of Niue, at a site known as The Limu Pools along the NW coast. As we travel the South Pacific we are fascinated by the vast differences between islands, and even within the same one. Niue is a coral atoll island, located between French Polynesia and Tonga. At this location there is a coral shelf that extends out from land before dropping off almost straight down to deeper water. Within that shelf are tidal pools of various depths that are filled with water and full of coral and aquatic life. This video does not contain audio, just a good look at one of the cool features of this South Pacific island. I hope you enjoy this glimpse of Niue.
