Jordan is a monster and he's definitely goated I believe there are 3 goats for there eras MJ, Kobe, Lebron his game is super tuff I just cant put him over Bron tho imo. Let me know you thoughts below tho gangy and I hope you enjoyed this one! 🙏🏼🔥
No such thing as 3 Goats. People throw this term around way too much. As LL Cool J coined it greatest of all time it can only be 1. And how do u know who the goat is dude your like 20 years old smh.
With respect, u ever seen LeBron look helpless? I have. Conversely.I watched mj since he smashed the nba stars as amateur, though I was too young to get it then. All the way thru his wizard days..never once did he look helpless. And has anybody ever actually put on a pair of the first Jordans..?..they were so heavy I could barely move. So he did all that in a league of dirty playing monsters with concrete blocks on his feet. There's no real debate here. He abused the league. And those guys in that league....would have abused LeBron.
As a die hard Lakers fan I can only say Jordan is soundly above Kobe, Magic, Kareem, Shaq, LeBron, and Wilt he just functioned on another level night in and night out
Respect your opinion, but it's due to you not seeing MJ play and terrorize the league as well as college. He was another level, Lebron is a great player and no doubt in the top 5 but MJ was great both sides of the ball and never slacked like Lebron.
I respect but totally disagree with your analysis of Magic. I'm a Celtics fan down to the green blood. Magic is constantly in the running on most fans' goat list. My issue with Lebron is, that he seems weak of character, sort of a professional snowflake. He has won the titles but he chased them down moving from team to team. Imagine if the likes of Bird, Magic, and Jordan did that?
I agree... I respect everyone's opinion buy LeBron never dominated the league the way Jordan did... MJ was just a savage. I also don't agree that LeBron had a tougher path... LeBron was phenom is High School... Jordan didn't even make his High School team initially, he was always underrated and he always had to prove people wrong... It's probably the thing that shaped his demeanor as a player.
These Kids Really Don't Know. Secondly, The Live In The Age Of "SPIN" And "Force Fed Agenda Pushing". Thirdly, They Suffer From Recency Deficit Disorder 🤣. If It Didn't Occur Within The Last 15 Minutes They're Completely Unfamiliar/Uninformed.
Jordan is the goat. Lebron only has longevity. That being said, lebron is also playing in a much less physical era. Not giving it 100% every night like Jordan did, resting on defense unlike Jordan nor did he play as many games a season as Jordan.
Also the lebron faced better competition doesn't hold up so much when he dominated one of the weakest conferences for most of his career. Jordan has a better record against 50+ win teams 60+ win teams. He didnt lose more than 2 games in a row for like a decade. Ppl see guys falling over and getting dunked on and think it's bc guys sucked. Rather than guys weren't afraid to get embarrassed if it gave them the possibility of making a play.
For those that have never seen MJ in person play, these highlights are just a small fraction of what he did in every game that he played in because he gave 110% of himself and gave his heart and soul to the game of basketball....He gave his best even when he had the flu/food poisoning (his stats for that game were insane!)...I can't imagine someone having the combination of skill level, fundamentals, athletic abilities, quickness, speed, agility, creativity + artistry combined with MJ's extreme competitiveness, mental toughness, physical toughness + endurance and clutch abilities....and then use all of those traits to earn the accolades, awards, accomplishments, and achievements in just 13 FULL seasons...that the person wouldn't be from planet Earth...MJ was like seeing a UFO, you know you witnessed something unique and special, but you can't explain it and can't find the right words to explain what you saw without sounding like a looney toon from planet Mars....
For lebron to win, he had to join Wade who had already won without lebron. Jordan in his early years didn’t have any allstars on his team until Scottie pippen developed into an all star. The second Jordan got 1 all star teammate, he went on a 3-peat. the goat comparison isn’t even a comparison man. I’m sorry.
There's nothing wrong with LeBron being your favorite player over Jordan. He's who you grew up watching so that's natural. When you say that LeBron is the GOAT over Jordan, well, good luck with making that case. lol Jordan vs LeBron - The Best GOAT Comparison by DangerProductions is a must watch.
Bruh youve seen how russel wesbrook looked in his prime averaging those triple doubles. Now imagine a a dude a few inches taller, just as fast, better laterally, better shooting, better finshing 6'6 dude jumping with his head at the rim off 1 or 2 feet, from the free throw line, khawi hands, every dam post move, and best defensive player. Hed be averaging those triple doubles excpet shooting 50% in todays game. In 89 they played him at pg for a few games and he avg a 33pt triple double at over 50% shooting. Hes the greatest mid range shooter in nba history, played in a era where the paint was congested, lebron shoots 33% from outside 3 feet and plays in a era where theres noone in the paint and no true 7 foot centers. Jrodan in todays game would ridiculous. He the goat
I love Lebron, but you had to be there bro. MJ really did something spectacular in every game. He was *so much better* than everyone else on the floor every time he laced em up. His defense and midrange game put him on the top tier, and that’s before you even get to the slashing. He won as many scoring titles as Lebron, Durant, Kobe, and Harden combined.
Over 25 years later and Jordan's moves still look futuristic today. In order to accurately compare their mixtapes (hypothetically), you have to ask yourself if 25 years from now, people will be watching LeBron highlights and marvel at anything he's doing. LeBron has never and will never be able to do the things Jordan was routinely able to do on the basketball floor. That's what separated Jordan from everyone else, including Kobe. Jordan was able to do with one hand, what Kobe was only able to do with both.
Jordan's game looks so clean cause he's likely the most fundamentally sound player ever. You can get extremely far on pure fundamentals, look at how well Luka is doing. He's not very athletic but he has very good fundamentals. Now, Jordan has both godlike fundamentals and athleticism. He has a 48" vertical while having one of the quickest first steps ever. Then add a ridiculously competitive mindset and you get the best player ever. You can say LeBron's competition was tougher, but let's not forget LeBron has had some of the greatest supporting cast ever. He was the first to create a Superteam. His Heat team was stacked with 3 allstars. LeBron himself, Dwade (3rd greatest SG of all time), and Bosh (11x straight perennial allstar). But LeBron lost to a Mavs team that only had 1 single allstar while LeBron himself got outplayed by the Mavs 35 year old bench player Jason Terry. Jordan has only had 1 allstar teammate his entire career and simply having that 1 allstar teammate, he basically had the entire league on lock. And he would NEVER get outplayed by an opposing teams bench player. Jordan is 6-0 NBA finals, 4-0 Olympics/FIBA gold, 1-0 NCAA Finals. He always performed on the biggest stage. LeBron loses more than he wins, and gave team USA their first Bronze Medals since allowing pros to play. Even just looking at all the analytical routes, and statistically, Jordan beats LeBron.
I had the privilege, to watch him play live. Full games. It was amazing to watch. His style was so mesmerizing. He was artistic, but was a cold blooded killer. I watched Lebron play too. He’s a beast. But man, Jordan is the Fkn Alpha. Nothing wrong with having Lebron as your goat - that’s your guy. It’s all good. But man… Jordan is on a level of his own.
As I watch this video I can't help but to notice the young man appears to be changing his mind as he truly realizes and understand who the goat is , one thing for sure two things for certain the eyes don't lie
MJ is a freak of nature bro. Check out his rare clips compilations. Nobody can finish like him. He was getting hit upside the head mid air on a regular and still finished
The layup wasn't as extra as u think...that 7fter there is Sam Perkins and he's left-handed.The Goat knows everything...perkins decided not to jump but mj had already adjusted his rhythm.
Jordan and Perkins also played together at North Carolina, so he knew Perkins was a shot blocker because he did it in practice in college all the time, that's why he switched hands and because it used the rim to help shield the ball and create space. Incidentally, the great James Worthy also played with Jordan and Perkins at North Carolina under Dean Smith.
i tell people this all the time. he wasn't being showy, he switch hands to avoid a block that never came. his ability to improvise in the air is still unmatched to this day. no one has ever come close.
There will be no Athlete like Michael Jordan, he showed everyone what it takes to be the Goat! He was creative, a great dunker, defensive player, offensive player etc, He had it all as an athlete and he is definitely the Goat, no one will ever be another player like him that is for sure!
I’m sure you’ve been asked to watch the Jordan Lebron goat debate definitive whatever on TH-cam. It breaks down how Jordan is literally miles ahead of anyone. It’s a must watch. I mean, he was the best in the paint, best mid range shooter of all time, unstoppable on offense and one of the best defenders at his position of all time. He’s the best ever. Not even close.
Jordan IS the G.O.A.T! Bar None! No one else is even close. When you get a little more age on you, maybe you will understand. MJ. Best Basket Ball Player, EVER!
Jordan was the best because till this day, he's still the greatest blend of phenomenal athleticism, and textbook fundamental skills. He was the closest thing to the perfect merger of those two elements that the game has seen up to this point. You add in his competitiveness, and you basically get a basketball/sports God.
When MJ was shooting those 3’s…he came out pregame and that’s all he did. Everyone thought he was injured or something wasn’t right with him. He actually told Magic the night before watch how I do Clyde tomorrow.
06:50 honesty when lebron career is over they’ll forget about him like they did magic .. and Kareem Lebron is generational player Jordan is a historic player Babe Ruth Mohamed Ali Micheal jordan Mike Tyson Tom brady .. lebron is called the king but Jordan is a basketball god
@@NoMercy4k You sound mad, young buck. Don't be like that. You're making yourself look silly when the consensus is already out that Jordan is the best to ever do it. You're a part of a small minority that people laugh at. Don't be that guy. Either admit what you're eyes tell you or don't say anything at all. No one will take you seriously anymore after your statement that "jordan is nothing".
LeBron may be your favorite player ever. And, No reasonable person would ever deny you that. But, you can't sit here and tell us that he can do 80% of what you've seen Michael Jordan do in these highlights. It's a never ending stream of thousands of incredible plays. And, your boy is incapable of all of it. Anyone who tries to rationally argue that lebron James is a better basketball player than this guy is in complete denial. Having said that, thanks for reacting to this.
LeBron has small hands which is why he can't even try MJ's natural moves. Kenyon Martin said this is why he also rarely tries to dunk on bigs or in traffic. Hence the pass first mentality. After living through MJ, it's painful watching everyone else as they all look like amateurs still. Perfection cannot be duplicated, should not even have happened.
Lebron can’t do this lol this kids stupid in the head if you wanna be Honest .it’s in front of his stupid ass face and he still in denial 😂 typical leflop fan
When you watch Jordan play it was something special every time. You knew when he had the ball and the game was on the line you had no doubt, no fear, a sense of calm came over your body. When you’re watching greatness you get this special type of feeling. You got that same feeling when Babe Ruth played or when Michael Jackson was live in concert etc… you know when you’re watching greatness because you can feel it in your soul. LeBron James didn’t give people that feeling, that’s the difference.
Also, think of this, MJ had 2, 3-peats right, 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98.. he never lost, his dad was killed in 93 and always wanted him to play baseball, so he retired from basketball and played for the white Sox, came back in 96 and 3-peated again.. if his dad was never killed, he most likely woulda had 8 STRAIGHT RINGS!!! THERE IS NO BETTER PLAYER THAN MICHAEL JORDAN!
I would really like to see you react to • Michael Jordan defensive highlights • Michael Jordan passing highlights • Why Michael Jordan is a Legend? A few rare palm • Michael Jordan Best Rare Video Ever (Voyager) Great reaction 👍🏻🙌🏻! It’s about appreciating beautiful basketball and it doesn’t get more beautiful than when Michael is playing. Extremely enjoyable, whoever one’s GOAT is.
you should watch a full game to get the full experience. It amazes me how quietly he gets his points. Before you know it he already has 25-30 by the third quarter. And as everyone knows, the 4th quarter is Jordan's quarter. All the bulls will need to do is lockdown the defense and let Jordan do his thing.
That’s the thing. When Lebron had the Cavs they were made in the Bulls image but he couldn’t carry the scoring load by himself when it mattered the most. Proof of this is his historical collapse in 2011. Scoring would be the very last thing MJ would fail at. Scoring is how the game is won and it is the most valuable thing anyone can do outside of defending.
In an Era where there were legitimate shot blockers.. beat lebrat in almost every measurable category. Played defense... made people around him better. Better free throw shooter. Didn't need to fake fouls...
He learned to play with his physical assets, improved upon em and built his fame around the fact he was at most 6’6 and for the first six years was 195 lbs. Brons 6’8-9 at 240-260. Forward vs point guard. And he’s at the hole like this
Kobe was an all time great. Kobe's mvp season's numbers were virtually identical to Michael's Rookie of the year season. Prime Kobie was what Michael's rookie season was. That is mind-blowing to me. Jordan Goat! There was only one guy that gave every team sleepless nights, no cap, Michael J Jordan.
Bron mixtape won't ever come close to any of MJ's. MJ has hundreds of highlights that aren't even on any mixtapes, he had just way too many. Sure Bron will have more passing highlights, but give me a break, MJ has more talent in his pinky finger than Bron has, PERIOD!!!
These kids have to stick up for their generation and what they saw. Most of these LeBron fans reacting to Jordan vids end up changing their minds which is very sensible when you watch Jordan play compared to LeBron. Any real basketball head, and some of these kids are just not this one still in his denial about his goat, will change their mind. I've seen enough of these reaction vids to know people are still in awe of what Jordan did on the court 20, 30 years ago.
@@kraigdavis7545 as well as White Chocolate, Kid, Larry Legend to name just a few. When I started watching the NBA as a kid 40 years ago, my favorite was Majic and the Showtime Lakers as well as Bird.. I emulated both of them as a young hooper, but then MJ came along and immediately I couldn't believe what I was seeing, otherworldly. Miss those days when men and not boys played the game..
Well let a Lebron fan or even LeBron himself tell you he's just a kid from Akron. He's not supposed to be here. He's got nothing left to prove. So with that attitude, they've already dismissed the path MJ had to go thru.
yup hacking a bunch if hacking pretty much it idk why the older generation thinks fouling and hacking in basketball is good. Usually what it means when someones hacking in basketball is that they're tired and cant play actual defense thats a fact. Mj played a bunch of nobodies just a bunch of hackers anyone can hack but Mj by the 90s had the superteam and everyone else barely had 1 all star on a team maybe
saw both their careers.. i live in ohio and saw bron come up from st v. both great .. but jordan was in another league above absolutely everyone. and the numbers just don't lie. i saw jordan just destroy other teams and players careers in ways bron hasn't. and as a cav fan i gotta tell ya that bron let us down a bunch of times before getting the one in 16. and i will tell you that jordan made waaaay more of those game enders than bron did. hell just the free throws alone tell a huge part of the story. jordan NEVER missed them like bron did.. again as a cavs fan i can't even begin to tell you how gut wrenching it was when bron miss those things. especially after watching freaking MJ take us out of the playoffs with the shot over Ehlo. there really is NO comparison. bron will always get love from ohio for the win in 16.. first time since the 60's that a cleveland team won anything... but he should have had more here for sure... lazy defense late in one series and missing a bunch of shots that jordan never missed really seperates their careers.. no-one has ever come close to or ever will come close to back to back threepeats..that's an accomplishment that nobody will touch. jordan is a once in a lifetime phenom. and it's not close...
I love how you kept reminding us and yourself that Mj is your #2, everytime you're getting mesmerized and jaw-dropped by MJ's moves. We believe you man.
It’s Mike, man. We’re talking about greatness, people haven’t ever feared Lebron the Mike was feared. Wilt wasn’t even feared like Mike was, mf’s were straight up scared of this dude, even his team mates. Like AI said, he didn’t even look real in person, like he had some kind of aura around him. Tim Duncan even talked about being just straight up afraid of the guy and the energy around him lmao
You need to watch some of Jordan’s revenge videos. If he felt disrespected, on or off the court, by other players or coaches, he would come back in the next game and destroy his competition.
One of my earliest memories was getting yelled at by my dad and brother for cheering for Michael Jordan when he was playing the Cavs. Bc I was born in ‘86 30 miles west of CLE and you NEVER cheer against the Cavs (even tho by the time I started having memories, Michael Jordan was EVERYWHERE, ALL-THE-TIME. Still, from that moment, Mark Price and the Cavs were my first love (Price was Steph Curry b4 Steph Curry, ask Steve Kerr.) Unfortunately, MJ single handedly torched Price and those great Cavs teams from the playoffs over and over. And it’s almost all bc of MJ that they’ve been forgotten in time (although I finally see guys bringing up Mark Price in the “most underrated NBA player of all time” conversations. He truly was one of the best PG never talked about anymore) Well, when I was 16, I heard of a local dude name Lebron James, and when I was 17 the Cavs actually drafted him! I then spent the next two decades cheering for Lebron to become the GOAT. He’s not. And he will never have a mix tape like this bc the reality is, Lebron simply never had the skill level of Michael or Kobe to pull off 90% of these basketball moves in this MJ mixtape. I’ve watched Lebron mixtapes (he’s now played 294 more games than Jordan, so if it’s possible to make a mixtape of Lebron that is just as impressive, there is more than enough game film to do it.) But everytime I watch a Lebron mixtape, I’m amazed for 5 min, and then it’s just the same hard dunks over and over again, with a couple nice passes mixed in, and I’m off to a different video. This Jordan Ultimate Highlight video is 30mins long and I’ve watched it easily over 100 times in the last 2 years. I also started playing basketball again bc MJ has those moves that get me feeling something
Magic & MJ are like brothers. When Magic found out he had HIV MJ was the first persin he called. MJ was driving when he got the call & pulled over & cried on the phone with him. They're as close as two people can be
People always go to the longevity argument and the stats lebron got in that time. Imagine Jordan went to college for 3 years, retired for 2, basically missed his whole 2nd season with a broken foot.. And probably retired 2 years early cause of management. Could you even imagine what he would have done in 7 more whole NBA seasons. Insane!
Great reaction bro. I know your eyes are telling you Jordan is better. Buts its ok to struggle with it at first lol. You should watch the Jordan vs Lebron definitive GOAT debate video. 💯
Newbs don’t know jordan wasn’t being extra, he thought long arm Sam Perkins was gonna go for the blocks which he had done many times prior in the finals. And like many said jordan is the goat because every game the other team feared him. He destroyed them on the offense, destroyed them on the defense (DPOY and all nba first defense ten times) and physiologically got in his defenders head with trash talking and other methods. He was an absolute killer that took no games off. Look at lebrons 50-60 game seasons and look at Jordan’s 82 games
I'll say this. Like who you like, love who you love, but when LeBron's career highlights are shown, there will be much flopping and "time off" while Jordan never flopped and had to be forced to stay on the sidelines even with a broken foot. That's the difference between the GOATS of yesterday and the new guys. Jordan broke his foot and went against doctor and coach's and owner's orders because he wanted to play. Bird wrecked his finger before he played his first professional game and then wrecked his back and still played as an elite player. LeBron gets bumped and flops. Jordan got mugged by the Bad Boy Pistons every opportunity they had. They physically assaulted him, dragged him down and slammed him, slapped him, punched him, tried to take his head off and still he got up and played. Bird fractured his cheekbone and came back with double vision to lead his team to the win. LeBron has never done this. Jordan was clutch, Bird was clutch, LeBron cracks under the pressure. Can't be the GOAT if you can't deliver when the game is on the line.
@@NoMercy4k Skill? you cappin they literally fall and cry to catch a foul. They are actors at this point. It's more entertainment then it is sports just like anything now adays on the tv that pay their employees millions of dollars. It's a sad truth.
Jordan dominated on offense and defense. In 1988 for example he was the MVP, the best scorer and Defense Player of the Year. He scored at will on offense and played lockdown defense. He scared other players. If you were thought to be good he would humiliate you. He won three championships in a row, retired on top of his game, played baseball for a couple of years, and then came back to basketball to win another three championships in a row. Jordan destroyed the game and at the same time he was a cultural icon. He was the signature shoe and he made long shorts and bald heads cool. He was huge all across the world. I grew up in Germany and my parents knew nothing about Basketball because the sport isn't that popular here. But they knew Michael Jordan because in the 90s you couldn't escape him. He was the Muhammad Ali of his time, he was a part of global pop culture.
I’ve never met anyone that’s watched both play game in game out in real time believe Lebron is in the same building as Jordan. And it should be obvious to all. I can’t imagine any skill that Lebron has the edge on. Maybe, just maybe a better passer. Certainly facilitator by nature but I don’t know if that necessarily translates into better skilled at it. He also was a bigger winner, more accolades, and in 5-6 seasons less. Far better footwork and fundamentals. Dominated the league by a long shot for at least a decade. I would argue that at no time in his career, Lebron has not dominated the league (Kobe and KD). At least not to Jordan’s level during his era. Seriously. What skill is it that Lebron has over Jordan? Watching both play makes it crystal clear.
Watch a video of what players think of mj...how they were scared of him...mj is my goat cause when LeBron went to Miami...Jordan said 'I wouldn't have done that...I wanted to beat those guys...not make a super team'...Jordan had that killer instinct that made a defender scared
Watch the last 3 yrs of MJ prime as a bulls, and let me tell you he is just on another level compared to all superstars that came b4 and after him..saw Kobe enter the NBA and developed his craft same with LBJ, both are great players but MJ is just the greatest of them all. Kobe may he RIP, is the closest thing to MJ.
It is okay for your favorite player to be different from the best player. Air Jordan, His Airness, Black Cat, Black Jesus, or whatever your nickname is for him……….MJ is hands down the best hooper that’s been seen.
Not y’all done made him mad like that. Fam only responded to those who agree with him. I respect your loyalty to Lebron. 😂 But Jordan is the overall all time best in my opinion. ✌🏽
Lol I appreciate you being respectful my guy, but yeah I dont mind you can believe whatever you want thats cool. I just don't like the disrespectful n weird jordan fans that can't handle everyone not thinking the same as them 💯😭
MJ is poetry in motion el duderino. Don't care about his 6 rings, his attitude or anything else. MJ is basketball my dude. No player is going to have the impact Jordan had in world basketball ever again. Maybe Jordan is more than basketball itself. Whole countries in Europe worshipped Jordan as a God. Back then, when numbers were not as important. It is style, finesse and other things us old school weirdos appreciate.
if you get a chance to watch the 'Michael Jordan BEST rare Video ever (Voyager)' highlight video here on youtube, you'll find that one even more compelling as it shows just how much tougher MJ had it going through the Eastern Conference against the toughest bullies in the league....fyi...Isiah Thomas said that during the Bad Boy Pistons dynasty run, MJ averaged 37 pts/game and then some nights MJ would get hot! and that was during the 'Jordan Rules' era where coach Chuck Daly told his Pistons players to punish MJ anytime he had the ball or took it to the rack....talk about a beat down! MJ used those experiences to get physically and mentally stronger so that he could withstand the punishment and carry his Bulls team over the hurdle and make it to the Finals....he didn't quit, cry, or complain, he just got himself and his teammates to toughen up and come back better than ever and exact revenge on Bad Boy Pistons, which is why the Bulls swept the series in 4 straight in '91.
Jordan use to throw down! I ain’t never seen nobody play at the level he played at as consistently as he did! The higher the stakes the better he played!”
As an old dude that has lived through the Jordan era and now the LBJ era, I gotta tell you-LBJ ain’t it! Watching highlight videos can make anybody look amazing so I can understand how you’re still not convinced Jordan and LBJ is a close call for who’s the GOAT. But forget about Jordan’s impressive hang time and spectacular plays….! Jordan was impossible to stop in the clutch and his defence was on the same level, all while he was only 6’6” and 190 lbs. and eventually topping out at 220 lbs. Just before he retired I could see the NBA was changing to the game we see today and it began losing viewership. By the time LBJ arrived, the NBA was in transition from the classic hard-nosed defensive game to the over-officiated softer uptempo game that allowed for more opportunities for scoring and getting to the rim. To longtime fans, the game looked watered down because it was clearly about making it easier to score and harder to defend because hand checking and aggressive defence was no longer allowed (more technical/flagrant fouls). I almost completely stopped watching basketball from 2005 to 2014 because the game became about trying to make stars and building players up to be more than what they were instead of letting their game speak for itself. Then the icing on the cake was the ridiculous media circus of LBJ’s “decision” in 2010 to go to the Miami Heat with Bosh and Wade. It was clear (to older fans) that the NBA had become a soap opera and was desperately trying to increase viewership. On top of the new contracts allowing for players to be more in control of where they go on a near yearly basis, the NBA became what it was aiming for; a league designed to captivate young fans who want to see more contrived spectacular plays and have no long-term attention span. By the time Steph Curry’s 3-pt sniper style earned him noterietay, the NBA added analytics and came up with the notion that if a team became more proficient at shooting 3’s it makes more sense to attempt a 3 rather than scoring a mid-range 2 or fighting to get to the rim. Interior defences became easier to penetrate because guarding the 3 became more important and the era of the big man (PF’s and C’s) was over. Positionless basketball was born and a game revolving around athleticism and 3-pt shooting became the standard. This meant a big strong player like LBJ became more unstoppable because he isn’t a true 3-pt shooter, he’s a slasher that thrives on getting to the rim off of spread defences and weak coverage, which is now how basketball is played. With no true C’s defending the key, it became a red carpet to the rim and “King” James was born! So essentially, the NBA made it easier for mid/close range shooters and made it easier to have a longer/healthier career because nobody can body you and the 3-pt shot is a preferred contactless shot. It’s even now a foul if a defender is in a shooter’s landing area-mix that with LBJ’s synonymous flopping (something unheard of in basketball before he existed) and we have a ridiculous candidate for the GOAT! Add the shot clock reset on offensive rebounds which gives the offensive team another 14 secs (a total of 38 seconds on a possession) to make another shot attempt….you’re talking about LBJ being spoon fed to “greatness” in HIS ERA!!! Guys like LBJ and Giannis would never be considered some of the games greats if basketball returned to its original style at its peak popularity and they had to play their listed positions. There have been several “LBJ” type players in the 90’s such as; Glen Robinson, Anfernee Hardaway, Tracey McGrady, Mitch Richmond, Shawn Kemp, Larry Bird, Vince Carter, Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Latrell Sprewell, Dominique Wilkins, Tom Chambers, Cedric Ceballos, Byron Russell….etc. All those players were NBA legends that had the exact same playing style as LBJ, played with a straight 24 sec shot clock, dealt with TRUE big men C’s, fought off hand checks…..and because your generation didn’t watch those guys play against Michael Jordan on a weekly basis or doesn’t know they existed in a MUCH tougher era, you believe LBJ is a phenom?!?! Lol. The only category LBJ rises above the rest is his fitness, player longevity and total points scored-that’s not greatness, it’s indicative of the rules facilitating more scoring and sports medicine knowledge that didn’t exist 25 years ago! Jordan was well-known for pulling all-nighters before games, smoking cigars, gambling, drinking, playing 18 holes of golf and fooling around with women incessantly….before games and still dominating the NBA. He didn’t even start weightlifting until the infamous Bulls/Pistons series when the Pistons created their top secret “Jordan rules” to nullify his ability to penetrate the key! Look up “the Jordan rules” on TH-cam and you’ll get a real eye-opener! Most people place LBJ in the top 3 best players, I place him in the top 10 and definitely not the top 3! When you have NBA legends that are still part of the NBA as basketball analysts, they watched and played against Michael Jordan….trust them when they say there may never be another player like Michael Jordan especially in a modern game that has lost half its viewership and has completely changed to a game that facilitates scoring to create the false hype that the next “Jordan” is LBJ.
Nice video for sure, at 19:27 that wasn’t a travel, he never stopped his dribble; hence, that foot sliding was simply a change of direction (whether a pivot or with his foot sliding).
Thank you! How can it be a travel if you're still dribbling? People look at things but don't take time to analyze what they're looking at. A lot of people nowadays go with their first thoughts which would explain the madness on social media.
You didn’t get emotional because deep down inside you know MJ is the GOAT 🐐. When Lebron entered the league they changed rules and made it more offensive friendly. Defense doesn’t even exist anymore in todays NBA. MJ dominated the BIG MEN era where you constantly played against 7’2”+ footers and 6’11”+ power forwards in the league. MJ won a title in North Carolina, won 2 gold medals 🏅, won three titles in a row, retired for almost 2 years, came back and won 3 more in a row. Retired came back at 38 years old played for the worst team in the league and was still one of the best players on the league averaging 23/6/5 with very limited minutes and on his last year at 40 years old he played in all 82 games. At almost 39 years old he dropped 51 points. You won’t admit it publicly but you know MJ is the GOAT.
The league is trying so hard to create the next Jordan.... The league chose Lebron and made him the face of the league because they know that the NBA is no longer relevant. NBA basketball is a joke now.
I'll tell you who the majority are who think LeBron is the goat, those that weren't alive to witness Michael. Otoh, the majority of those who've witnessed both overwhelmingly will say Michael is the goat. See the difference?
One of the main differences between them is that Jordan didn't need a super team to do what he did like LeBron. Bron may have made it the playoffs without a superteam but to win it all he had to go to another team and make a team no one could beat. Jordan did it by himself, yes he had pippen but he really didn't need him. And ive lived long enough to watch both and in my humble opinion LeBron isn't even close to Jordan. Bron is the goat of this generation but does hold a candle to his airness
Great reaction however I don't understand why Lebron James is even spoken in the same breath as MJ NJ is a better Shooter he's a better Defender he's got better footwork he's better in the clutch he's a better free throw shooter not to mention he's one of the most fundamentally sound basketball players that ever existed he actually has no weaknesses LeBron James has tons of them
A few takeaways and clear ups for this reaction. First and foremost I respect his opinion. Everyone is entitled to one. I get it, he didn’t see Mike play live and so he can’t truly understand. But I’ve noticed a pattern in probably about the last year, year and a half with the young cats. They’re realizing that Jordan is the GOAT and they have mixed feelings. Some are in denial, some give in and admit it. But you can look at their face when they watch this mixtape and you can see reality set in. Lots of head shaking, open mouths, pausing and rewinding. The proof is in the reaction, not necessarily what comes out of the mouth. Body language doesn’t lie. See, as great as LeBron is, he doesn’t generate that awe that Jordan does. The eye test alone doesn’t support Jordan being number 2 to LeBron, let alone stats. LeBron is not doing any of the things you are seeing in this mixtape. LBJ is a power player, not a finesse player. He doesn’t have the hang time or the jelly’s. His game just isn’t close to being as aesthetically pleasing as MJ’s. There is already a LeBron mixtape, and while good, it’s not on this level. So no when LeBron’s new mixtape comes out after his retirement, people will not have the same reaction as this (7:00). Lastly, pointing out MJ’s balding head (9:38) and saying “I don’t know what you’re waiting for” is a terrible look for a LeBron fan. LeBron’s been balding for over decade now and still won’t give it up. Mike never really rocked that balding look on the court too long. He shaved it and started a trend. Men with full heads of hair were shaving their heads. LeBron has a bald triangle in the back of his head right now and still won’t come home because he’s so sensitive. Fake hair falling out while he’s on the court! So, yeah, this non debate was settled long ago.
Good reaction vid my man . My list is Jordan,Kobe and Lebron . Each had the dominance in their era . What made Kobe so special he worked hard to gain his abilities where as Jordan and Lebron are both freaks of talent by nature. What makes Jordan so special also is that he accomplished more in just 13 years before retiring a second and 3rd time. For Lebron he is just a monster and talented by force also just lacks that killer instinct compared to Jordan and Kobe
The reality is that Bird and Magic didn't hand it over to MJ, the truth is that MJ grabbed, snatched, wrestled, and flat out TOOK the mantle from them due to his competitive DNA nature.....MJ earned what he achieved through hard work and dedication to the sport he loves dearly...he said so himself in many interviews...
Bird last won in 1986. Magic got back to back in 87 and 88 then ran into Detroit. It was both their leagues in the 80s. If anything, it was Bird before Magic then Magic had it before Jordan. Magic was in the finals in 91 while Bird was wearing down.
I personally rank Jordan as my GOAT, but point being, major respect to you. I feel like it isn't often that you see a fan of one or the other show as much respect to the opposite player as they really should. or as you do to Jordan as a Lebron fan. Gotta give greatness credit where it's due no matter which side you take. Good video!
Exactly no matter who you believe is the goat any one in the conversation is great regardless and should get their flowers and appreciation, kinda crazy that i try to to show that energy towards jordan as a lebron fan and 90% of the comments and energy I get back is just talking shi on lebron and me tho
LeBron has never and will never do shit like this. MJ is the GOAT. LeBron is a top 10 player, but not even near Jordan and it's pretty clear why lol. I put Duncan over LeBron tbh. Not to mention, he plays in the softest era is NBA history and has had mad help too.
I've watched many of these* It's a pleasure to watch a baller really SEE MJ . Much respect to you! BTW* The stories behind so many of those moments are the real gold! He had to create motivation brah! Once he learned to win,it was over until he decided differently. I've played for well over 20yrs and I know what I am saying,it's true
Let's put it like this MJ was so dominant an so good that he kept other great players from ever winning a title an other players feared that man an knew not to make him angry or he will destroy you
True but Mike didn't have a bomb squad like them and pippin didn't develop into a good player until later. But when they figured it out and got things rolling no one can stop them and then when Rodman came in it was over they was killing it
@@NoMercy4kthey had way better rosters when Jordan got to the league and they all knew what Mike would be when he got a good roster. What he did do before he got to the league was beat all three during a whole Summer exhibition (8-0) with nothing but college players before he won the gold medal in the Olympics. LeBalco IS your guy but Jordan is in a stratosphere all his own. Everyone else is fighting for second place.
Jordan and then Kobe. Lebron is third and I’m being generous he is super talented but the last few seasons he become more of a soccer player flopping and whining if he doesn’t get a call.
Mixtapes are good and all, but they don't tell the whole story. We'll see Lebron's mixtape with some rundown blocks, but he will be more known for hanging back on defense. Jordan was an absolute animal and as technical as can be on defense. No matter how good you think Lebron is, MJ was just simply better. If the game was close in the 4th, you just knew the Bulls had it. If you trash talked Mike, you were done. He was truly feared. He's the reason why we don't think of other teams as super teams. He's the reason why Karl Malone won 0 scoring titles instead of 5, he's the reason why Miller, Barkley, Ewing, Malone, Payton, Drexler, you name them (except for the Rockets when Jordan was out of the league) don't have a ring. The way he practiced and pushed his team, how he played every night whether it was against a great or bad team...I don't think I'll see anyone like him in my lifetime.
the big difference is that everyone who saw jordan then saw lebron and kobe...the reverse is not necessarily true..that's why jordan is considered the goat
Any player can look good on a highlight reel. If you can find old game footage, I would recommend watching complete games to see the overall game of these players. Each generation's GOAT is like asking people which SNL cast was the best. The best usually is the one you grew up watching.
Jordan is a monster and he's definitely goated I believe there are 3 goats for there eras MJ, Kobe, Lebron his game is super tuff I just cant put him over Bron tho imo. Let me know you thoughts below tho gangy and I hope you enjoyed this one! 🙏🏼🔥
Just the clutchness and defensive tenacity puts MJ above Bron for me.
No such thing as 3 Goats. People throw this term around way too much. As LL Cool J coined it greatest of all time it can only be 1. And how do u know who the goat is dude your like 20 years old smh.
Kobe isn’t even top 10 goat.
@@ingobordewick6480 Duh
With respect, u ever seen LeBron look helpless? I have. Conversely.I watched mj since he smashed the nba stars as amateur, though I was too young to get it then. All the way thru his wizard days..never once did he look helpless. And has anybody ever actually put on a pair of the first Jordans..?..they were so heavy I could barely move. So he did all that in a league of dirty playing monsters with concrete blocks on his feet. There's no real debate here. He abused the league. And those guys in that league....would have abused LeBron.
As a die hard Lakers fan I can only say Jordan is soundly above Kobe, Magic, Kareem, Shaq, LeBron, and Wilt he just functioned on another level night in and night out
As a knick fan who Jordan TERRORIZED. You are right.
Absolutely
Those were great men, but Jordan was a god!
Respect your opinion, but it's due to you not seeing MJ play and terrorize the league as well as college. He was another level, Lebron is a great player and no doubt in the top 5 but MJ was great both sides of the ball and never slacked like Lebron.
I respect but totally disagree with your analysis of
Magic.

Lebron is not top five✊🏿
Dont know if Lebron can be top 5. Jordan, Bird, Kobe, Jabaar, Magic ,Chamberlin, could stilk add a few other name
Jordan is the goat. Lebron only has longevity. That being said, lebron is also playing in a much less physical era. Not giving it 100% every night like Jordan did, resting on defense unlike Jordan nor did he play as many games a season as Jordan.
Full 82 game regular seasons
Jordan-9 🐐 ☑️
Lebron-1
Lebron has the most turnovers in history of the game. GOAT don’t do that. I have Lehopper on my top 20 behind Steph Curry and Kobe.
@@havoc4834 that's about right.
Bron longevity cause he doesn't play all 82 but once in 20 seasons
It's very unfortunate that this young man was not born during the era of greatness with basketball🏀🥺
Truth
90's bulls where must see tv every night. I never missed a game during that time.
#FACTS
Well said
For lebron to win, he had to join Wade who had already won without lebron.
When you say that LeBron is the GOAT over Jordan, well, good luck with making that case. lol
Jordan vs LeBron - The Best GOAT Comparison by DangerProductions is a must watch.
People always want their favorite player to be the GOAT! It's empirically impossible!!
Yes must watch! 🔥💯🔥💯🔥
LeBron isn't even close to MJ. I mean not even close at all.
My top 3 is Mj, kobe ,lbj.
He the goat
FACTS bro!!!
I been saying the same thing for years MJ was Westbrook on steroids especially in the 80's
It would be unfair, if MJ would play in this era. 50 ppg easy 🤯
Yup. You can always tell those who are not use to seeing Jordan play. He ALWAYS reacted and adjusted to the movement of his defenders in real time!
The thing about that lay that always get overlooked too is that it was his thirteenth consecutive made FG in that game.
i tell people this all the time. he wasn't being showy, he switch hands to avoid a block that never came. his ability to improvise in the air is still unmatched to this day. no one has ever come close.

Yessir!!🤙

Also, think of this, MJ had 2, 3-peats right, 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98.. he never lost, his dad was killed in 93 and always wanted him to play baseball, so he retired from basketball and played for the white Sox, came back in 96 and 3-peated again.. if his dad was never killed, he most likely woulda had 8 STRAIGHT RINGS!!! you should watch a full game to get the full experience. It amazes me how quietly he gets his points. Before you know it he already has 25-30 by the third quarter. And as everyone knows, the 4th quarter is Jordan's quarter. All the bulls will need to do is lockdown the defense and let Jordan do his thing.
Lol 1000% Facts
And listen to former players telling jordan stories. The KD/Isiah rider story is amazing and funny at the same time.
Funny thing is Jordan played like this every game. It was just the way he played, dude was showtime

And he’s at the hole like this
Imagine if Jordan’s was on hgh like lebron he’d have played a lot longer too
LBJ will have to play till he’s 50 to catch up to MJ. If he can reach 50 years old.

Nobody did it like Mike. Not even close. LBJ is great, but i thank God i got to see Mike in his playing days. Different breed

Hands down the goat of all the goat the one and only his airness Michael Jordan..
By the crazy thing about this watching MJ every night was almost as good as the mix tape ...every night
And many times, during the same game 😂😆😂

Insane!
LBJ fans thinks 10 finals appearances makes him the goat. Lol!
You don't need to say anything, you face saying ewerything.MJ is simply the BEST!
Michael Jordan is easily the best player ever. No one else is even close
Fun Fact: Mike had a full FOOT vertical advantage over Kobe with hands like a catchers mit!🤯🤯
48 inch at the end of practice. Bobby Knight said it was more like 50-52. and the man could palm off the bounce, or off a cross court pass. insane.
Kids.
No discussion. Never was.
#MJ23GOAT
And basketball back then was harsher than today Jordan was a beast Wordan
True but its more skilled now imo
Air Jordan, His Airness, Black Cat, Black Jesus, or whatever your nickname is for him……….MJ is hands down the best hooper that’s been seen.
in your opinion
My man! Well said.
Him mentioning Lebron so much while watching this is really just saving face because inside he’s realizing that Lebron not better 🤣🤣
Michael Jordan has brought the HIGHEST LEVEL of EXCITEMENT in the game of basketball 😷
You could make 50 videos of Jordan highlights. He IS the goat, and there isn’t even a close 2nd.
I'll tell you who the majority are who think LeBron is the goat, those that weren't alive to witness Michael. Otoh, the majority of those who've witnessed both overwhelmingly will say Michael is the goat. See the difference?
Best defensive and offensive basketball player in history. 6 championships and 6 finals MVP. Just the GOAT
when you are taken aback at what jordan did then it just means that you haven't seen lebron do what jordan did
The difference between MJ and Lebron is LeBron has to have people speak up his work. MJ work can't be described in words..
Bron is the goat of this generation but does hold a candle to his airness
it's impossible to overstate how much jordan transcended basketball even while playing the game.
Great reaction however I don't understand why Lebron James is even spoken in the same breath as MJ NJ is a better Shooter he's a better Defender he's got better footwork he's better in the clutch he's a better free throw shooter not to mention he's one of the most fundamentally sound basketball players that ever existed he actually has no weaknesses LeBron James has tons of them
Very entertaining video, but you know who the GOAT is. Period!
Retired, came back and won 3 more in a row. He is the goat. Jordan got 6 ya know?
He didn't travel because he was still bouncing the ball. And you didn't get emotional because you already had your mind made up. But that's cool.
Good list
You have to realize that hand checking was allowed back then. Such a different game.
Magic didn't hand over the mantel of best in the league to Jordan. It wasn't his to give. Magic was 2nd to Bird.
He hit 6 threes in a row in that finals game

Jordan is goated ngl W reaction to W jordan.
W
Let's put it like this MJ was so dominant an so good that he kept other great players from ever winning a title an other players feared that man an knew not to make him angry or he will destroy you
Did he keep larry bird, magic johnson or isaiah thomas from winning titles?
Lebron is a great player. But just by you watching should tell you,Lebron cant do any of that stuff!!!
MJ strong as fk and Artest and Horry said he’s just as strong as Lebron
the big difference is that everyone who saw jordan then saw lebron and kobe...the reverse is not necessarily true..that's why jordan is considered the goat
Any player can look good on a highlight reel. If you can find old game footage, I would recommend watching complete games to see the overall game of these players. Each generation's GOAT is like asking people which SNL cast was the best. The best usually is the one you grew up watching.
By the way - that wasn’t a travel. He was still dribbling.
Right. LBJ travels like he's going on vacation 😂
