Awesome looking gadget. I want one. I’m 68 and have been playing since the 80’s. I’m a 6 handicap, thank god for a good short game. My irons not so good. I’ve just started that move on my own. When I use a fast rythem everything in my swing works I think because when I’m faster my body does thing’s correctly.
I need that gigantic club!!!! A coat hanger does the same thing. They had that in a golf mag in the 80’s early 90’s… funny how someone made it a real device
Good session Eric. Simple and easy to follow. Hanker looks like a neat training aid. Observe what it does for iron play but how about woods? Have a Happy Thanksgiving.-Russ
To my fellow golfers....this stuff works. This was probably the hardest/most time consuming piece of the puzzle. I hit a ton of bad shots while practicing this drill but that's what practice is for. For most of us this move won't feel natural but once you start to get it, with proper weight transfer and post impact position, you'll feel like Tiger. Some pro tips: Pump this drill from top of swing to last parallel. You can't do enough of this. Know what your check points are and make sure you're hitting them. Practice at home. You don't need to hit golf balls to practice feels. Start slow with the movement. No tension. Elephant trunks for arms. Great for speed.
Great video, Eric! Would you say another reason amateurs don't create compression is because of early extension? We stand up creating more distance to the ball than we had at impact forcing us to flip it to get the club head back to the ball. Happy Thanksgiving!
If P6 position is so critical, then why not just start back swing from P6 and preset correct club face? I bet you could still generate plenty of club head speed at impact.

Great lesson Eric.. I have been using the hockey drill you demonstrated in a previous video and feedback has improved my side angles.
Excellent video once again Eric!

Thanks Eric, seen you using the hanger before, I take it you really do like it. I am looking for one now to try this out..
How does the hanger compare to hack motion device?
Where can I get a set of those BIG irons?? 😂
The simplest thing is just to hit the inside of the ball. Don't think of anything else *
