The grey driving range is because it picked up when you rolled the ball onto the red dot as a shot, so the whole range became your dispersion circle. Thanks for the review

Yep I've had ST+ since January and the no reads / lock ups with this LM are really frustrating. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've now purchased a GC2 so hopefully no reads will be few and far between.

GC2 is an absolutely fantastic device! I miss GC2.. it is a FAR superior device to the skytrak plus and there are no subscription fees and integrated with GS Pro seamlessly

On version 5.0 PC. You still get no reads. It always seems to happen on a flush shot. I get less no reads on GSPRO.

Yeah absolutely still have no reads on the PC version.. actually had more than iOS maybe just coincidence.

The no reads don’t make sense. I have an OG SkyTrak and it reads all the shots that you had no reads on.

Yeah there were quite a few! The thing is everyone is going to have their own experience with all the launch monitors. The data on the full shots though was fantastic 👍

This is the iPad app and is the current version. The mobile app hasn't been updated yet only the PC version at this point. 👍

Again Joe - a very thorough review, Sir! I wonder why nobody ever mentions that the ST+ uses Rapsodo software as its engine. Maybe that’s the reason for disconnects and no-reads. The reason that the ST+ is so data driven is because the “Skytrak” brand was purchased by a company called GolfTec, they are a huge conglomerate that does golf lessons here in the US and they are VERY data driven. They essentially analyze golf swings/shots of the best players and use the “averages” as target metrics during instruction - hence the shot optimizer. That gentleman that comes up in help menus is Nick Ledbetter and he’s the nationwide director of golf instruction. GolfTec has some TH-cam videos to check out if you want and they may give additional insight to help with your reviews (for the negative or positive).
Never thought about putting in the same area where you hit until today. That’s going to mess me up forever. 😂
