Oh my goodness, how do you constantly come up with these fantastic ideas. I love them both, but the red one is my favourite 😍
Thank you Natasha 😊 x 💓
My first set of ink pads were mini cubes. They have lasted years without re-inking. I also buy blank cubes from StampinUp and use re-inkers so I have a small travel set of inks. Love what you do!
I love a good tree card!!…. I use my mini’s with my tapestry stamps.
One of your BEST videos yet👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Great technique. And a great way to use those mini ink pads that usually sit at the bottom of the drawer. Lovely cards. Thank you!
I love these cards, Natasha! Your videos are always great. You wondered how people use ink cubes. I often buy them so that I can have more colors in a line I love, like Altenew's Fresh Dye Inks and Gina K Design inks. I recently purchased quite a few colors affordably, whereas if I had bought the full sizes, it would have cost me more than I wanted to pay. I love all the colors!
Such cute & simple cards. I really love the ombré stamped trees ! 😊
Once again beautiful cards, always great ideas,I can't imagine you ever having mental blocks. I usually use my minis for smaller stamps. Thank you for the wonderful ideas.
Once again a great video! I love both cards! The ink swiping and the set of trees are super easy and turn out great.
LOVE EVERYTHING YOU CREATE NATASHA ❤ Could I ask for a video on some inspiration for the inside of cards ? My creativity needs a LOT of WORK 😂 THANKS ❤
BEAUTIFUL AS ALWAYS ❣️🦋🙏🏼🦋❣️
You always inspire me! Thanks so much. Have a blessed day! 😊
Beautiful cards and thanks for the inking tip around the card
Great cards and ideas!! Those trees are gorgeous!
Wow Natasha! Such simple but classy looking cards! Love both ideas, especially the ink blending on the tree stamps. What a gorgeous blend! And the first idea is also great if you’re wanting quick backgrounds. I have the mini distress ink pads, mainly because they’re more compact for storage in those Tim Holtz tins. So maybe I could experiment with those! Thanks so much for your inspiration as always 😊💕
YOU are amazing! Once again, you have made what I thought was a hot mess into a lovely card.
amazing...so simple and easy...thank you a lot Natasha for your idea...looooof it🥰
I never thought to swipe the ink cubes! Thank you for sharing 😊
Oh I love this!!! Such a great idea. I’m definitely going to try this technique. ☺️💖
Great idea, thank you ❤
That would look great embossed as well! Lovely Natsha ❤
I’m going to have to get my mini ink cubes out and try these techniques. So simple yet elegant.
I use the Momento tear drop minis for direct to paper swiping. The shape also makes a leaf shape too.
I have some of those
More good ideas and inspiration! Thank you 👏
Great ideas and cards. I use my ink cubes when I’m traveling or if I don’t have a full ink pad in a color I want.
Beautiful cards and lots of tips. Thank you. I use my mini ink cubes to make a wood design. I lightly swipe a dry-ish pad across a cardstock panel in stripes. Using several colors helps to make the panel more believable. I have also used my mini cubes as square blotches of color, overlapping some to create a background. The smaller cubes are good to use with small sentiment stamps. Love your swirls!
Wow, these techniques are amazing Natasha. Thanks sooo much for sharing them. I love watching your tutorials, (I live in Brisbane)
I have almost ALL mini ink cubes. I don’t have a lot of room for the regular/large size. I buy blank mini ink cubes & then buy ink refills. They are great!
Have a few GinaK cubes. When I'm not dropping them I really enjoy them.
Instead of bringing my full size ink pads to the lake, I have mini ink cubes, saves so much space!
About 20 years ago I purchased a numerous assortment of Palette Hybrid ink pads. Used them sparingly then forgot all about them. Today I tried your trick but obviously very dried out. Used Distress Mica Spray over top and voila! Beautiful background.
I have been looking for some non traditional ideas for Christmas cards. Your swiping idea today is ideal. Thank you Natasha. Mostly I use small ink pads to get a specific colour I want that I won’t use much of. I have a true red for Christmas for instance.
This was another great video thanks
Both cards a absolutely beautiful and simple. Thank you for all of your knowledge in making our cards different and unique. Amen
Love this. I recently made a checkered pattern with my mini ink pads. You can let them dry and do another checked pattern offset a bit. I love creating with mini ink pads. Thank you for sharing this.
I have three sets with four gradients of colour especially for stencils, lots of flowers have four layers so they will be perfect for this too
Here you are- half my age...and I never thought of inking borders using a mask!! I'm perpetually trying to match layers with cardstock. The other good reason is it keeps weight down for mailing. Thank you Natasha!
Finally an idea for using the small ink pads! Thank you so much, again! ❤
Great ideas!
I use both mini and normal size ink/oxide/permanent pads, for stamping and backgrounds. 🎉❤😊
I like the mini ink cubes because I can get a few more colors on my limited budget
These are both just lovely and so different! The first ones colours reminds me of lipstick and make-up packaging lol!
Awesome cards 😊
Gorgeous!
My main inks are distress oxide. I have some minis of dew drops, distress & archival inks for variety. I have a small craft space too and the minis fit in a little tin. I have always wanted to try the Simon says stamp inks…maybe someday 😊 lovely cards!! TYFS! 🌻🌻
I love them both, who would have thought that swiping the small stamp pads on the card would look so effective.
I ONLY have small inkpads so this is perfect for inspiration. Inhave thr tear drop shaped ones (Tsukineko?) which have a sharp edge, perfect for details or borders. Love the abstract swooshes card! I only have a very small space to store things, so mini cubes give me variety withiutbtaking much soace.
Nice cards Natasha
I have quite a lot of Simon inks. They stamp nicely, but they lose juiciness quite fast. They have an amazing range of colours, though. I would advise that if people buy them, refills are a must-whereas with other companies, you will get away with refills for just your favourites. I also like the stamps from Simon, they have a lot of large and useful stamp sets with a good variety of sentiments.
I actually did have an incident where my mint tape tore my paper. I taped some damp paper on to a 3d embossing folder. After running it through the tape was damp. I was not being very careful and so there was a small rip. I was amazed. I will put a sentiment over it and remember this in the future.
Hello from HOT southern California, USA. I used to get the monthly kit from Stampin Up, where I got a different ink cube each time. I make many cards without greetings, or maybe just no inside greeting, until I need them. I use the small ink cubes to get out quickly to add an inside sentiment/greeting.
the monthly kits from simon are not bad to replace stampin up kits. They come with a variety of products.
I have lots of mini ink cubes. Could get lots of colors to try that way.
Gorgeous cards like always!! I have a small craft space so other than the Distress oxides all my other inks are mini cubes. I can’t wait to try this technique, it looks amazing 🥰! Thank you for sharing!
I loooove these ideas Natasha!! Beautiful end results as usual!! I have the tree canopy stamp so I'm going to try this!! I like to use the mini ink cubes. The ink cubes work well for me. Especially for smaller stamps or when you want to customize color ways like this.❤❤❤ Thanks again!!😊
If you see this post- I meant to ask you also- did you use regular cardstock in this video, or watercolor?? You may have said- and I missed it. I just wondered if- for the swiping in particular- which you would recommend to work best. Thanks!!
brilliant ideas and with boing a stack to grab. great idea for mens cards. Always tricky. Re the ideas of ink blocks. I use some off cuts and choose 3 colours and totaly cover sheet with the ins . Pail colours best. Almost sunset look. messy is best. I then use these for my die cutter. Shapes and names come out multy coloured. Centiments on plain white paper with chosen ink coulor round edge. Easy peesy. I have few A4 sheets i grab as i can cut many out this way and none will look the same. Flowers look great too. many thanks.. C form Hereford
Love this
I have a lot of mini ink cubes too. I buy them for space saving and cost.
Almost all my inks are minis. This is the only way I could have a lot of colours and still stay within my allotted storage space. The only time I wish they were bigger is when inking up a really big stamp. Always enjoy your videos.
I too have a small space so I have a few ink cubes too from different companies. I find that the cubes are quite useful for techniques like "rock and roll" and the one you shared today. I can't tell you how much I enjoy the useful information you share in your tutorials. I like the look! Very pretty card, not too fussy and complicated. Beautiful ❤️
Oh yes! I need to try that again soon too actually! Thank you for your lovely words, I'm glad you find the videos useful! It's always good to get fresh ideas!
I have Distress dye inks only in the mini size. I use them for watercolour techniques; they’re small and easy to store. I found they can be refreshed with a Distress spray product so I haven’t had to buy reinkers
Thank you for these ideas. I have a bunch of mini stamp pads of Ranger Distress Inks that I never use anymore (Oxides took over). I will have to look for other videos on what to do with those inks now.
I love the ink swiping! Never thought of doing it like that for a card base!
Lovely ❤
I really like the use of inked edges in place of mat layers. Great tip. Thank you.
Thanks again for encouraging us to use cheaper options to achieve lovely cards and quickly.
Thanks!
I love the card with the blue ink swiping.
Both of these cards are just gorgeous! I've never seen that swipe technique but those card fronts turned out very nice. Thank you Natasha 😊
LOVE swiped card Natasha! Such a cool idea and looks wonderful with the gold!
The first card is great! Love it! So easy & so effective! The second one is great too! Another pair I have to try!
For me, mini ink cubes tend to be colours I don't use often or I buy when finances are tighter.
Apart from my onyx black ink, all my other inks are mini. I love the fact that they don't take up much room, and so far they do every job that I need them to.
Such cute cards. I love your ideas, and watching your videos! TFS 🥰
Thank you! Totally incredible ❤ Simple and classy . You My Friend are fantastic ! I appreciate all you are teaching me 😊
I absolutely love these cards and these techniques!!! Thank you!
My minis are very pretty in their container and I never think to pull them out. Thanks for the idea!
💕 STUNNING cards Tasha!!💕 I'm always up for another one of your videos and techniques to make a Great card!! Thanks for the inspiration and creative feelings! Hugs my crafty and creative Friend 🎉 XOXOXO 🎉
I buy mini ink pads almost exclusively to save money and storage space.
What great ideas you come up with. Both cards are lovely.
Love that you’ve used the minis! I have a bunch of mini distress inks from several years ago… will try them! Thanks Natasha!
Fantastic cards!! I really like the swipes of color. And great tip to add ink on the sentiment strip. I normally ink blend just right on the edges of the strip. But a stipe of color is beautiful.
What lovely cards!! I use my ink cubes when I have a layering stencils.
Loving both cards and can’t believe how simple but how good the first one is . I have gins K ink cubes . Nearly the whole set , primarily because I can’t afford the full size ones , but wanted her gorgeous colours . The only other ink pads I have are oxides .
This will be fun to try!
Thanks for continuing to inspire me!
I bought small ink pads for easy storage and saving money. I wish oxides were available in the mini size, like distress inks.
I never remember that I have any, or what colors I have! But I AM certain that they will need refreshing if I am going to do the swiping! What a fun way to play with color and get a creative background! (I just finished a card that started with my granddaughter and I playing with shaving cream and liquid watercolors to make prints. We had a great day that day, and I believe this is the last one from the stash. All for a good cause, as we have a long term house guest who’s birthday is a week from today!
Natasha , I Love that thank you card . ❤️
This is a great idea. Thankyou for sharing it. I'm going to try this today. 😊
Wonderful ideas! Love to watch you!
I made two of the cards using the mini ink pads. Thanks i had a good play.
Wonderful cards and ideas, thank you!
Very pretty cards! I use mini cubes like others to save and to store easier. Thanks!
As always - your cards are just stunning.
I’ve noticed that you’re using a different glue now….is this your new favourite glue - Art Glitter?
Awesome techniques there, Natasha - tfs 😁
I have the distress minis - in the storage tins
Some altenew mini sets - still in the packaging
Archival distress - still in the packaging
Catherine Pooler minis - in the packaging - it's such a shame Catherine stopped the mini sets, they were so handy!
Oh no, she stopped them? Interesting!
Ohhh grab those mini inks and give this a go! You've got the goods! YAY!
@@NatashaFooteCreative I think you can still get the minis as singles - I liked the sets, I'm stubborn like that 🤣🤣
Awesome cards and ideas!
Great cards Natasha. 🎉
Love these cards!
So cute, I can't wait to try this!
I love these ideas.
Both cards are lovely! I never use my ink cubes, but that will change now that l have another fun idea to play with. Thank you 😊 ps You look great on the big screen 👍🏻
So lovely, Natasha ❤ I don't have any mini inks... 😊
