The car market will essentially be divided between ICE and EV depending on how much money you have and how much mileage you do. People who work for a living and do high mileages will be driving ICE vehicles and the wealthy and probably the retired and some working people who do low milages will drive EV's. At the mileage i do if i had an EV i would have to buy a new car every 4-5 years because the batteries only last between 80,000-120,000 miles. Where as a well looked after Toyota engine can do at least 250,000 miles and then i can get a low mileage used one from the scrapyard for £400.
You managed to hit "Sportlovet" in Sweden, everyone goes skiing for a week. The main route for that goes through Mora, hence the congestion. The coastal cities are clear, because they don't get sportlov traffic.
Hi, Bjørn! Cool! My wife is from Enontekiö, so we had an almost identical road trip (to her parents) as you last summer. 😊 It wasn't as peaceful as yours as we have 2 small kids 😅 It was a bit stressful between the last supercharger in Töre and destination in Enontekiö. We arrived with 3% SoC 🤯 I was SOOO happy when I could plug in the umc charger at their house.
6:55 Using 7kW from the charger to heat the battery to gain... 7kW from the charger seems like such a waste. On a supercharger where the gain from a warm battery could be 10s of kW heating is obviously good, but on a 50kW?
In Skellefteå you have to pay for charging AND parking. I dont think they want EV:s in this town. There is two 50kW DC chargers and then there is supercharger. The 50kW chargers cost by the minute.
I'm a huge fan ofTesla but they should make better decisions about where they put their superchargers, especially in low spots that water would pool. I wouldn't be plugging the car in there that's for sure.
Hi, I like your videos. But i wonder why u ‘hammer it’ all the time. I think of u drive slow then u can last a lot longer with one charge? Elektric motor get way more efficient when u dont drive too fast
Yuck the full superchargers...what I fear for the us in the near future (of course California already may be having that issue)...except there won’t be many dc fastcharging alternatives. I hope private companies begin to fill in because it’s not reasonable to expect tesla to keep expanding indefinitely.
This was a rare case because of winter holidays. If you watched all my other road trip videos, you will realize that 99.9 % of the time, I never run into congestion. Congestion on gas stations also occur. Especially during holidays.
I also do not understand that comment. Northern Europe is full of charging stations, even in the middle of nowhere you can charge your ev. Come to germany, lots of blocked tiny charging stations with car sharing ev who do not charge, nobody cares. Less density of chargers. But even there EV market is growing fast. EV is not too early,it is the right time.
It's an extreme situation with a national holiday. The roads are clogged too. Bjørn just managed to cross the stream of traffic and stop in the middle of it.
As expected, no response from the guy. For everyone else who's reading this: If you actually watch my road trip videos, you will see that 99.9 % of the time, I never run into congestion on superchargers. This was like many people here already commented; a rare case because of national holiday. Roads and gas stations are also clogged. If you think that EVs is too early based on this, then you should take the bus or taxi. Because taking a fossil car will result in the same delays.
22:30 logs say overall MC Hammer averaged 10 km/h faster and arrived 2h10m sooner, so would likely be 3h+ without the SuC congestion :o)

Bjorn Trip format or not, you seem to make things entertaining. A talent that takes time to craft.
Tesla in terms of technology, the whole ecosystem is amazing. Just wish I could afford it.

I love how Bjørn is respecting wife's privacy by not filming her too much, so cute! ☺️
Drove from Drammen to Rovaniemi and the Arctic snow hotel last month :) Fantastic trip and a fantastic place to visit, hope you had a great time!

I had a great time in Ro Rovaniemi back when I did a trip to the Nordcape on my bike. It was summertime but the nights were freezing.
Love Teslabjörn travel videos they are the best 😀😀😀
Niiiiice road trip! I can really recommend the original Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi next time! 🤗
Apart from the beautiful roadtrip and usefull info about EV usage, I really love your music selections. Keep it up !
7:19 Man’s Not Hot 😂
Love your road trips videos !!
So depressive that not even the northern part of Sweden has winter. Usually they have snow from around november to april up at Örnsköldsvik and north.
Just wait for part 2. Lots of snow there.
what about little Bjorn's? Child seats also should be tested ;)
Would be nice if Tesla watch these vids and see where more stalls are needed
Quick ICE car reviews they don’t need to watch, they already have all the data from their superchargers
Well...
I like the videos that show that EVˋs also work in bad weather 😝💪😜
Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

Yay Uncle Bjorns legendary road trips, Oh Yay #ABC Love to Wifey ❤️
They seem to be missing all of Michigan's potholes.

Nice video! Thank you for sharing. Quick question: what’s the app on your android phone? It looks informational
Bet wifey was not impressed with 'man's not hot' 😂👍

Water and electricity don't mix is a myth.
Yo what's up
Scene - rain, about 7C and man says 'I lost my speedos' ...looking to buy a pair whilst charging ... 🤣
You don't need speedos in Finnish saunas or jacuzzis :)
How did you lose your speedo, Bjorn? 🤣

@@bjornnyland Makes sense the way you explain it, but there also a money factor :-) Hammering it also means u need more money. Nice video's keep it up
Hello
Can tell what is the app you are using to measure hv battery temperature
ScanMyTesla. Check video description.

He can only some words in German... like nein, scheise, Helga etc.

Man‘s Not Hot haha.
With this video you show that ev is too early..

@@bjornnyland I have seen most of all your trips. From the time you drove to Haslemoen.. I watched the whole trip when you tried the 24h record too..
