According to esang coach leah had a very sharp ear.... even a dot mistake leah could notice thats why esang really paying an attention during her rehearsal coz she dont want to mess up....and she look up coach leah a big tree a legend that she idolized since she start singing and choose as a mini me.

When Esang auditioned on The Voice - Kids, of course Lea turned, along with all the other judges. She kept saying she'd been waiting for Esang to come and told everyone that Esang is her "mini me". Esang's conversations are usually in straight Filipino, but when she sings she obviously has perfect diction, as coached by Lea herself! I've watched an interview of Lea where she looked almost like an excited mother, talking about how Esang has been asked to audition and join several theatrical productions abroad.
“If you can’t stay off your phone for a few hours, do us all a favor and don’t come to the theater. Not only are you a distraction to the actors, but you’re also a nuisance to the other patrons sitting around you that actually want to be there. If you’re only going to show off that you can afford it, but don’t actually possess the manners, keep your arse at home,” Lea. for anyone who wanted to watch her live and never been to theater before :)

Esang joined a televised talent show when she was young, she was imitating Lea, that is why she was dub Lea’s “mini me”. Lea probably heard of her through that talent show, so when Esang auditioned on the voice kids, Lea was so excited to see her and she said “i know you, you are mine”. She has been trained by her dad who sings but is really a lawyer. When her dad saw her potential, he decided to nurture her love of singing. Lea mentors her on her theater career too. Nice reaction ❤ Yes it is from lea's 40th anniversary concert. Lea's mother also recommended Esang to musical theatre producer Cameron Mackintosh, she was invited to audition for the role of Little Cosette and was casted to play the role on the Les Miserables manila production.
She actually played little Cosette in Les Miz way back. If you want to see more of her, there's one where she sang I dream a dream with Tim Pavino (a capella and no mic), there's also a duet with Daryl Ong Count on Me and a more recent cover of Night Changes.
