Alexa I was so lost with so many different teachers and videos, trying to learn french, before I found you. You make things unbelievable easy and clear also watching and listening to you is a pleasure. Thank you so much you've totally got my support!
There are several things for how to learn French Decide exactly why you want to learn French Try to use French everyday Decide what method works for you best. (I read about these and more on Mirykal French Plan website )
No one EVER explained french verbs to me this way! As an English speaker I had no idea we very much have regular and irregular verbs too and that comparison just makes so much more sense now. Thank you soooo much for this!
me, a russian: okay, I've learned all the irregular verbs in english, thank god it's over highly irregular french verbs: allow us to introduce ourselves
In learning another language, most teachers talk about grammar in our native language in a way that takes it for granted (because we do so all the time). Thank you for taking the time to go over the connection across the languages through the opening grammar lesson. It's super helpful.
I am a refugee somewhere in Indonesia I was completely losing hope to learn anything but from the time I have found dear Alexa I think I can learn french something new something better for my future I don't know how to thank you bcz there is no word for it Thank a lot and a lot
I have french as credit subject in my clg and the teacher despite being good at explaining the topics was unable to explain verbes very well and this video saved me, i understood so much from this video. Thanks a lot ma'am for teaching so well.
oh my goodness, your lessons are the best. I enrolled my son in a private French lesson, and I'm trying to learn the language my self and I found you to be an excellent teacher. please continue to provide these videos.
I always spent my time french with alexa for lerning french . she is just awesome i can't explain her expression and everything. May Allah bless you alexa.
As a teacher in school I have found you very good in your explanation, the way you talk and the way you teach. My students love your videos they always want to watch you because they say your videos make it easier to learn French. Thank you M.S Alexa.
I'm currently taking French class and the instructor has most of your videos sent to the class for reviews. I've got to say your videos have been very very helpful in learning the French Language. I would say thank you ma'am but since I am practicing my French, lemme say Merci beaucoup Mademoiselle.
I'm Algerian and I supposed to be good in French but because I have not spoken it for more than 17 years so that made me forget alot and some foreigners from Asia asked me to teach them French so by the help of your videos I could get back many of my old informations million thank to you bisou bisou 😘😘
That's interesting, when I learnt French I was taught of the three groups as ER, RE and IR, and irregulars were some sort of fourth group though not defined as such, they were just there. I always regarded IR as the third group because of this until recently when I began to agree that IR should be the second, though I would still class regular RE verbs as a third by themselves, and simply accept that you find irregulars in all three.
Bonjour Alexa, I must confess that I am learning more of the English grammar principles in your lessons than I did in my school classes. Must be how you are able to relate in such a way for better understanding. I love and appreciate your teaching methods, Bravo!!!!
Alexa!!! I UNDERSTAND THIS SO WELL! I am already in 2nd month in class and I didnt get it all! And just memorise without understanding why and as we go deeper during class I get more stressed in class! And you helped me understand this!! I called in sick to miss class today to catch up by myself and learnt this from you - BEST DECISION! Thank you for doing what you do!
Dear Alexa, I am a regular follower of your lessons. Very comprehensive standards you maintain. Merci beaucoup. Sincerely yours, Ireneus from Colombo,Ceylon.
French verbs made so easy to understand .. the explanations are so clear and interesting . Honestly ever since I started watching these videos my interest in French was resurrected .
Currently trying to learn French due to me needing 1 language credit for college and my WORD- this single video is so much more helpful than *ANYTHING* I've been taught in my college class! I really like that you're introducing the concept with english, THEN moving into French. It makes it SOOOO much easier to follow. I know this video is like, several years old or what-not and this likely won't be seen, but I have to give thanks where it is due.
Hi Alexa, you are a excellent teacher, you make this French class alive because you enjoy what you do. I can see you expression on your face. God bless you Alexa. Thank you for your good work.
Superb! Present participle in french is a bit tricky, but you explained it here the 3 verb groups, alors et je commence a comprendre "un peau" . Merci beaucoup Alexa :)
Je pense que certains des verbes "re" peuvent être réguliers comme ces verbes: attendre J'attends Tu attends Il/Elle/On attend Nous attendons Vous attendez Ils/Elles attendent étendre J'étends Tu étends Il/Elle/On étend Nous étendons Vous étendez Ils/Elles étendent But they make up only a small proportion of re verbs!! By far the best teacher. i can speak & read French but now i'm actually trying to learn it so as to understand it better and better my dictation. Merci, merci ♥
I tried many different french apps to study French but your app is the best. I don't get tired of it. always fun to watch and learn. Merci beaucou Alexa.
1. Regular verbs (-er) & (-ir) *(-ir) have (-issant) suffix in present participle form 2. Irregular verbs (-re), (oir), & some (-er) + (-ir) like aller, dormir and venir *stem of irregular verbs will change drastically when conjugating even though suffixes for imparfait/futur/conditionnel stay the same
I have been learning French for over a year, and someone recommended this video as I was struggling with irregular verbs. Literally, as I watched this, I felt so much fall into place. I feel like I have accelerated 6 months in just one video. Thanks so much!!!
Fantastic!!! I have spent the morning re-playing it over & over & finally I am getting my Head around the Verbs! Your lesson is fab!! Merci Vous :) Nina - Désertines, France.
I already knew a fair amount of French before watching 100+ of her videos, but she definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone into a higher level. The other TH-cam teachers are too fast for me, so it dawned on me that maybe the teacher has to be good at teaching as well.
Monique Renee Fuselier is my French name. It is my given name, as my father was French! I took French in High School, didn’t learn a thing. We all took a French name from our books and that was our name during class, Monique was in my textbook, my name remained the same. Before he died I asked what did they call their grandmother in French? If I knew how to spell it , much less say it I wouldn’t be here now ! My dad was from south Louisiana, ( the Fuselier’s originated in Lyons,France. ) so his word was probably slang. Anyway thank you I will try to learn my French now that I found you!
I think that to read is important. You're going to get exposed to irregular verbs in different tenses. My mothertongue is Spanish and I learned English by reading; I'm doing the same with French now, to read a lot and, of course, to watch Alexa's videos!
There are patterns with irregular verbs though. For example, 'rire', 'lire' and 'dire' all have the same conjugation pattern. The 'prendre' 'apprendre', 'surprendre'verbs do as well. 'Vouloir' and 'pouvoir' follow the same type of pattern. I tried to link and teach those together when I taught high school french to make them easier to remember when conjugating
Alex I love watching you teaching French, you like what you are doing. You are very clear also in teaching, Keep the good work you have a great personality.
Bless your soul... u made me (someone who can't understand French for the life of me) get some understanding... especially when it came to the "ing/issant" endings
So happy to finally find Alexa in youtube. The other instructors only give a few lessons then we have to go to their website and for this and that. Too complicated for me. So.. thanks a lot Alexa.. please keep posting new videos:)
I spoke French first then English later, and your irregular verbs are so funny, when you say it comes easy for you that know English already but those took me forever. I always have trouble with French verbs and the changing of genders with words. Maybe I became lazy with French along the way
When i was learning english two years ago i said i will never be able to learn the irregular verbs by heart but i was wrong I didn't try but by listening and reading a learned it without trying 😍 it's amazing how or minds work with the language and Memorizing

1 of the best video on learning french EVER! I am currently in grade 8 and this is a very good video to understand these verbs. Thanks so much ma'am.
Je pense que certains des verbes "re" peuvent être réguliers comme ces verbes:
attendre

Nous attendons
Vous attendez

étendre
