54 year old girl finally learning French here, I failed in high school with an awful teacher. Combined with Babbel I cannot believe I am actually understanding what you are saying - like this is a dummy friendly explanation. Merci Alexa!
She makes it thousand times easier than the French teacher in our class (she just talk in French and does not care that other students are understanding or not)😂😂😂😂
Thank you for this demonstration! Duolingo gets me confused at times and this video was perfect! I love how you ended it with the "je m'appelle alexa" example. Bravo!
Brilliant. I now fully understand it on this level of complexity. Your podcasts are fantastic. Not just thrown together audio bites from these videos, but full on lessons
It's interesting that in French to drive is "Conduire" and as soon as I found that out I thought of train conductors which in a way they "drive a train" or "get it going in a direction" so that helped me remember that word.
Great discovery at the end! I found out finally where "m'appelle" came from. I remember your first lesson of all, I've learned it by hard then and now understand the structure. Great! 😊 Thank you!
Hi , Thank you very much modom for your kindly teaching French . I am Iranian and work in Algeria. I've started learning French with you. خیلی ممنونم از شما
When my teacher explain it look very complicated but with you it looks very relaxing and easy.you are a big help for my learning french❤️merci beaucoup!
Excellent lesson! You explained this SO well. I understand the concept of reflexive verbs. Washing one's self, etc makes sense. But, there are some verbs that I can't figure out WHY they're reflexive. Take "se souvenir" for example. "I remember that movie" becomes "Je me souviens de ce film". Why is that? In this example, I'm not "remembering myself", but I'm remembering something which has nothing to do with myself...a movie. If you have an explanation for this, I'd sure take it!
This was great..another question that I've been asking for years answered today by you Alexa .....and the explanation about why you are suppose to say, je m'appelle..I never knew what the m stood for, I just repeated the sentence because that's what I was taught to say from young..this video meant so much to me. Thanks.
This is perfect! I have been searching and searching for a clear explanation on this. Too many Fr channels/books just assume that we know what these terms mean in English. I appreciate that you took time to explicetly tell us what a reflexive pronoun IS. Thank you :)
Merci beaucoup tous tes vidéos ils sont très bien ,Alexa !vous êtes super professeur ! Thank you so much you are my best teacher, you are very grateful for me .not only many of us ! Such a great god blessing for us thank you so so much ,j’ai m’appelle Tashi et je suis tibétaine, encore une fois remercier

Alexa, Your previous series of videos were great, but the newer ones like this one are positively outstanding! Merci !

Never knew you could use "car" for "because." Thought there was only "parce que." Merci pour ca!
Steven James Morren yes even i had the same doubt why dint she use parce que
Same here
I think of it as ‘coz’. Easier that way. Little less polite but functional.
😂😂😂
🏎️🚕🚕

I love your lessons. Your lessons are the only reason i get good marks in my french exam
Same for me
My French teacher took 75 minutes to explain this and she made it sound like rocket science.
Maybe he/she was a physics teacher subbing the French class.
😂
i feel like they make you confused on purpose
@@ericlind6581 sure 😂
She makes it thousand times easier than the French teacher in our class (she just talk in French and does not care that other students are understanding or not)😂😂😂😂

It's interesting that in French to drive is "Conduire" and as soon as I found that out I thought of train conductors which in a way they "drive a train" or "get it going in a direction" so that helped me remember that word.
This happens a lot with the Latin languages. That's what makes unravelling languages so beautiful
