What a wonderful video. As always, you captured the very essence of the railroad. Please know how much I and I am sure all others appreciate your artistry. Keep up the excellent work my friend.
70Ms are being used on locals and transfer jobs mainly now but some can go on the mainline. This one is the only one I can think of that has a K5LLA. Most have K3LAs
Lots and lots of good stuff!

Good video. Looks funny seeing two high 🐎 horsepowered locomotives doing the work of two GP38s GP40 four axle locomotives..
yep they are stronger which makes the trip up this hill much easier and safer
Very nice video :)
Great video
Everytime I come to California I'm amazed with how many SD40-2s there are on the UP
yeah there's around a dozen in local service down here with many yards using them as hump power or switchers
So nowadays SD70ms are now used for local trains? And do they now have a K5LLA since it is mostly used on SD70ACE locomotives?

its crazy the power difference between UP and BNSF in CA. BNSF sucks.
yeah I always tell people UP is the better RR here for power and they don't listen... lol
I ENJOY THIS
