I don't know why you decided to post that here, but that's some silly stuff, friend.
I read it for a little bit, and it started off by implying that Darwin's Theory of Evolution 'meant' something, as if it were something more than an explanation for how life evolved, which was a bit weird.
Then it made the immense jump from "You cannot be conscious of being unconscious." to "Your soul is reincarnated when you lose consciousness." which are just two unrelated statements made to look like a clever argument. It takes for granted ideas like 'souls' and just runs with it as if the readers won't notice, and then acts like asserting the existence of a soul - not based on empirical evidence - but based on the idea 'You cannot be conscious of being unconscious.' counts as 'accept[ing] the truth the evidence supports'.
Although then it redeemed itself by saying that the First Law of Thermodynamics means that consciousness cannot be created or destroyed. Which is the funniest shit ever, because it sounds really profound and meaningful until I start saying "Beauty cannot be created or destroyed.", "Irony cannot be created or destroyed." or "Love cannot be created or destroyed.", and then you realise that actually all of those things can be created or destroyed, *because literally half of the quote in the article about the First Law of Thermodynamics makes the point of saying that it can change forms.* Not only that, but 'consciousness', 'beauty', 'irony', etc are all emergent properties. A molecule of water isn't 'wet', but water is. Emergent properties, arguably, can be created and destroyed. Hell, the Second Law of Thermodynamics says that Entropy, an emergent property, is *always* increasing.
I scrolled down to see if I was missing anything else, and saw Newton's Third Law of Motion being applied to anything other than the physical applications of classical mechanics. Public Service Announcement: those laws don't even apply to relativistic mechanics (the one Albert Einstein, quoted earlier by the author of this article, came up with) so I don't see why they magically apply to luck, wealth, or literally anything else.
I'm sure you have the best intentions and believe this website has something important to say, but trust me, people who read *maybe* half of one of the Laws of Thermodynamics then believe they've cracked the code of reincarnation are not people you should be venerating. If you think I'm talking out of my ass because of 'cognitive dissonance' (a real thing, but not synonymous with 'being hesitant to accept crazy ideas'), I'm happy to explain a few more reasons why this whole thing is bogus, but only if you're interested.
And, uh, oh...oh no...I typed paragraphs on a TH-cam comment again. I'm pretty sure this violates my parole from Outspoken Atheist Jail. Can't talk for much longer, if you wanna discuss anything, get back to me and we can exchange emails or something.

I know this is a year old now, but it's the first time I've got a perfect score on one of your playalongs, and I'm ridiculously proud of myself!
1 - the Caribbean sign gave me an inkling, and then on the business next door to that you can just about make out that a couple of the words were 'of America', which made me think Puerto Rico. The positioning has slightly changed now, so I did have the name of one of the other streets to help me find the spot.
2 - was so excited when I saw Bunbury, as I played along on the last game you had it in! Easiest round for me.
3 - spent quite a while trawling round Rosario, and was super proud of myself for eventually finding the right spot. And therefore super irritated when you pretty much zoomed straight in on it!
4 - also thought it felt like the south of Portugal, so started at the bottom and slowly scanned upwards. Was surprised how far north it was! Took a little bit of time to pinpoint the exact spot, but not as long as Rosario!
5 - heart also sank when I dropped into this round, but then somehow manged to hit upon the right level of zoom on the map to find Simmie within about 10 seconds. Then just based it on the little roads.
Perfect score! It'll never happen again...

Round 1 - 4,999 - idiotically went for the adjacent, and much too large, roundabout next to it, still pleased to deduce Puerto Rica from the colours on the Caribbean sign :)
Round 2 - 5,000 - saw .au on a sign and found Bunbury after an Irish Bar indicated that it would most likely be on the west coast. Took ages finding location and was somewhat disheartened with the Wizard himself's instantaneous reaction and subsequent score...
Round 3 - 5,000 - Buenos Aries sign was a giveaway, as was the Rosario sign. Pullman Hotel was a helpful spot to locate due to its size, all in all nothing too challenging there.
Round 4 - 4,999 - After a while of south american themed deliberation, I noticed the Portuguese style signs at the end of the road from childhood holidays and was royally blessed by an incredibly lucky sighting of Lamego within seconds of embarking on my search. Unfortunately the combination of impatience and naivety that Geowizard would not find the town got the better of me and I spoiled my luck by randomly throwing the marker down after a fruitless search through the town... I should have known better than to doubt the expertise of Tom.
Round 5 - 1,827 - all good things must come to an end and by god was it an end. I couldn't help but laugh as my pride was wiped aside by the Wizard and Oz esque landscape. Considered a search of the flatter states but I simply couldn't face it and with a heavy heart went for Kansas. I honestly did not expect your perfect score to stand the test of this cruel round but once again you proved me wrong :)
cracking game until the end there, congrats on the score and cheers for brightening my day.

    To help anyone:
These are some differences between Spanish and Portuguese:
    1. Hello
    Spanish: Hola
    Portuguese: Olá/Oi
    2. City
    Spanish: Ciudad
    Portuguese: Cidade
    3. Street
    Spanish: Calle
    Portuguese: Rua
    4. Square/plaza :
    Spanish: Plaza
    Portuguese: Praça
    5. Beach:
    Spanish: Playa
    Portuguese: Praia
There are loads and loads of differences in orthography and pronunciation but these are some useful words for GeoGuessr
    Edit: Countries that speak Spanish:
Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Equador, Peru, Bolívia, Chile, Argentina.
    Countries that speak Portuguese:
Portugal, Brasil, Angola, Moçambique, Cabo Verde, "Macau", Timor-Leste (East Timor)

Awesome! Congrats on the fantastic video. I got the 25000!
#1: FYI, Borinquen is the indigenous (Taino) name for Puerto Rico and sometimes Puerto Ricans are called Boricuas. 5000
#2: Next to the 'Victoria' sign you can see a fragment of the start of the cross-street (Eli) to narrow down quickly (not that it was really needed). 5000
#3: Pretty straightforward, not too many viable areas in Rosario for this one. 5000
#4: I started wide on Portugal and Lamego shows up without delving in too deep. FYI, you are correct that Portuguese but not Spanish uses the circumflex (^) accent. 5000
#5: I'm Canadian, so I knew it was likely to be pretty far south in Saskatchewan to be so very flat. Almost got tripped up by the tiny little streets, but got it! 5000

Yup, thats right, the USA. Literally they said that if they dont pay money to US they can't bring ships with aid to PR. Yup, thats right, the USA.
