I love this song on so many levels! I've never heard country music sung in French! I just love that. I also like when Stompin' Tom (or anyone for that matter) sings seamlessly in two languages in the same song. Thanks so much for the post!
I say the same about the film 'Bon Cop, Bad Cop'. It's a brilliant satire and spot-on painting of the essential Canadian relationship between the English and French parts of Canada.

Wow, thanks! I had always wondered what he was singing. I knew it was French, but I couldn't make out the words. It looks like the English lyrics singing are a translation of the preceding French lyrics.
