That '80 definitely has a peak in the highs somewhere. Sounds like an old analog 'emphasis' circuit.

Great review as always! Wondered if you've had the chance to compare a Roland BA-330 with the Roland KC110/220's, and if so, what your thoughts are. Best!
Never did get my hands on a Roland BA-330. That's an old amp these days as its been around since 2009. Seems to have the same specs as the KC-110 (KC-220) but with four 6.5" drivers instead of two. It always seemed to get positive reviews.
I miss my 200 watt TOA synth amp. Nothing like annoying the neighbors a city block away.
Everything you said is true…but if you talk about reliability for 1 second…you know Roland is far in advance!
