- This one took 4 months to produce. I've experimented with different techniques and mixed in some 2D animation to simulate the impact smoke in some scenes. I think they came out good, this was good experience for me to work on 2d animation as well as understanding lighting and mood a little bit better. I had a lot of fun with this project and I'm happy to finally finish it!
I've been wanting to recreate this scene for a while now, I wanted to see how I could recreate the more dynamic parts of the video, like when Sendo leaps forward at Shigeta before he hits him with a barrage of punches.
Also the channel has been gaining more attention recently, and I really appreciate people taking time out of their day to watch these! I read your comments and I'm really grateful!

Hhhhhhhholy shit. The smoke effects, the fang pieces being used for smear frames, coloring in the mouth just to get that mouthguard spit-up... Oh this is a thing of beauty.

Those in-betweens added in post are golden. You have pretty much elevated what was already excellent. Also, tackling an almost 5 minute scene couldn't have been easy.

The editing and even the motion of the work is highly improved! I dont know much about what goes into it, but this was definitely incredible!
Its so heartbreaking to see shigeta's face bruised and looking like hes begging for help. His trainer should have thrown in the towel sooner.
