I bought this toy after careful and concrete comparison with others of the same category. I have been using it for a year and I am very satisfied with it. I feed it with rechargeable batteries because in this way I have complete autonomy of movement: from the armchair, to the desk, to the bedroom, to jams with friends (when there is no lockdown). The charge lasts many hours. It finds space in my suitcase and I use it to give voice to the PC when I do not have a sound system for the track of my slides. In fact the quality of the reproduction, even if it is not Hi-Fi, is more than satisfactory for me.
I have this little amp about a month and is everything you need for practice.. it's fantastic and the app for Android phone it's excellent..my blackstar ID 40 w is not my best friend anymore... fantastic little amp
First two things I thought; excellent playing in the intro Shane, and no way it sounds that good with no added help. The gear you can get now for the price is just light years ahead of what crap was available when I started. Yes Shane, do the shoot-out please.

And... SOLD! I need a new work amp to play in my lab and this sounds perfect. Thanks! Now off to watch Landon's review. Great review as always and killer track to open the video.
Wow!!!! The tones from the intro jam rocked!!! For $99 it’s a steal!!! The drum machine/ metronome makes this little amp the perfect practice amp!!!! I’d trade my GT 40 for this one in a heartbeat!!! Cheers Shane!!!🎸🎸🎸🤙🏾🤙🏾🤘🏽
I just got this. It is stupid cool! Only $100 on Amazon. Sounds huge. Linked to the iPhone app with ease. Comes with its own 9 V power supply. Clean channel is my favorite. This is a must have!
That guitar is killer. The sounds on that lead along with the playing was freaking amazing and nailed it nice. Very very good way to show off a product. You did them a Huge favor. Wow. Thanks Shane.
At 3:17 ... it reminds me of the Blackstar Fly 3 as others have mentioned. But NUX have taken it a step further with the phone app. Thumbs up for that.
After seeing the Nu-X Mighty Lite capabilities, I asked Blackstar (I have a couple of their excellent ID amps) about the prospects of an Android app. The reply was nothing ruled out but nothing currently in the works. So, that pushed me to the Mighty Lite and away from the Blackstar Fly.
Very cool demo and some great playing in that intro song. It's awesome to see Mooer, NUX, Donner, and some of these other offshore companies making really cool and competitive new stuff and not just cheap copies of other stuff. I have a Blackstar Fly 3... And now I want one of these instead. 👍
This is fantastic! Even clean it’s impressive and sparkly. I’d like to see some more clean tones or more in depth at how it responds to dynamics in picking or changes in the guitars volume. Thanks!
Thanks for the demo, great work as always! 😁👍 Some of these mini amps are indeed impressive. I have a Katana Mini, which is very nice, but my main go to small amp is now the Vox Pathfinder 10 B. It’s fantastic, the 2 speakers give it a big amp sound at low volumes, but it can rattle the windows when I want to as well. Sounds great with guitar, or bass, it’s perfect for nighttime playing, and situations where I don’t want to lug my AC-15 around. It doesn’t have a battery option, but I don’t need that anyway.
Great review ! Mini amps with drum machines are rare , These are best for practice ! A similar portable amp with almost same specs with Awesome HUGE tone is the VOX Rythym 5 wich i have - Highly recommended for busking too !
The ability to dial in so many sounds via phone or tablet..!!! Hey I know you're super busy but damn..😮 I live on the beach and I'm often down on the beach playing guitar on my blackstar fly & this sounds like it totally and thoroughly annihilates something like the fly..🤔 Any additional feedback would be most welcome Shane.... Super super impressed...!!!
The great advantage of the Fly 3 system is that you can hook it up to your laptop and you have a quality stereo sound. I prefer that to a drum machine and a couple of effects. The NUX sounds good.
Great review man! LOL, you were having too much fun with the drum machine! I have a couple of NUX pedals and they’re really good at packing a lot into their products. If they really wanna crush the Boss and Blackstar, they should include a Bluetooth guitar transmitter and go completely wireless! How cool would that be?? 🤙🏻😎🎸
Nice demo mate - You're easily amused with the drums. Should have got slosh to pop him for the metal drums ;) While you were demo'ing those - was it actually called ballard?? The app needs a wheel or slider for the tempo. For $149AUD, sound wise it's ok. The cleans sound better than the overdrives. But size is great for throwing in an overnight bag. Wouldn't mind seeing a shootout between this and Mooer. Use the dB meter as well!
Yes sir awsome, so I got one, it broke down in two weeks, so did the next one.. Sounded great, but not very long time :) I got a Fly 3 and for extra fun a Boss Katana mini, bouth super good.. play loooooong time ..ps It was not the batteries :)
Hey Shane! How are you feeling about that PureSalem? I fall in love with it all over again every time you use it. Are you still feeling positively about it? Love your videos man. The amp is very cool!
Does anyone know if you can listen to Spotify etc using the Bluetooth or is it only for the app? I am looking for a great little amp where I can practice, and also use it to listen to good quality music throug Bluetooth.
I'm thinking if I piggyback this through the headphones out into my fly 3 with extension speaker bumping it up to 6 Watts... Forget about it.... Imagine being on the beach with your guitar and all that capability...😮
Great practice amp ! I noticed that you don t smother strings with your left palm when you soloing . You will sound much cleaner if you smother strings! That s not critics, just an observation because I like your always fresh rewiew ! Cheers from Croatia!
That's a very nice device and it would meet much more than my needs. But... Due to the low cost components (especially potentiometers, connectors and capacitors), I' worried about its durability. And, when it will be broken or with malfunctions, the only way to repair it will be to completely change the electronic board, if available. Chances are that a new amp would cost less than to repair the broken one. :-((((
Hi i have that NUX MIGHTY LITE BT AMP and i think its AWESOME but i also have a NUX MG-100 MODELLING GUITAR PROCESSOR so i was thinking of hooking them both up togather and see what i get ??????
Sounds great. Quick questions, how does it compare to the Boss Katana Mini? Is one louder? Which would you say is better for a bedroom guitarist? Can the NUX plug directly into the computer for recording purposes?
So half the features rely on the app ? And Nux probably won't update it after a year or two. Anyone who has been around phones or PCs for a while knows that you might go on being able to use an app for a few years, but sooner or later it will no longer work under the new OS, or just doesn't work on your new phone for some other reason. Some things like USB last longer because backward compatibility is maintained. But don't count on it for devices like this. So keep your old phone if you want all this amp's features to be use-able longer than a few years (until your phone dies !). But maybe this is deliberate inbuilt obsolescence, and Nux hopes you will just throw the amp away and buy the new one that does work with your new phone.
@@intheblues aha so only over microphone..but is that a good option at least? (Mic into mixer) I really fancy this application and stuff looks like it could replace all the pedals and stuff easily.

I haven't really tried it yet but there's a third party app called Mightier Amp which might be worth looking at and seen very popular with users.
Google it. It's a much debated science. The idea is to have a room floating inside a room, touching as little as possible which would transfer the noise. As Ben Hackett said, it's expensive. I once saw a quote for $20,000 for a 10' x 12' room. I sound TREATED a room which meant having double walls with a gap between them created by metal spacers. Pretty good sound for such a small amp. I'd love to take that thing with me on travel.... but I am sure I would piss off all my "neighbors" at the hotel. Does it not come with a power cord? Silly if it doesn't. Beats my headphone amp that's for sure.

what do u think is better, this amp or the Mooer Hornet 15?
Can a bass guitar be directly plugged into it?
Probably not mate, the speaker wouldn't handle that very well would be my guess.
@@intheblues that's true... I realized that the NUX may not have a high enough impedence to handle a bass guitar.
