Hey that's a good idea! Never thought of that! Would make it easier, sometimes I can't be bothered to clean the motor once I've finished using it because it's too much effort to get to it 😂
Decent review mate. I have been looking at Carbatec, Sherwood and Hafco saws trying to make my mind up. Now Carbatec are selling a Laguna that looks good😞 If the Sawstop was in my price range my decision would be much easier 😁
Cheers mate👍, I don't know a real lot about Carbatec or Sherwood so sorry can't help ya there, I suppose you just gotta bite the bullet and make a decision, they all have pros and cons Thanks again😊
What width can you rip a piece down? I'm looking at one buying one for making some kitchen cabinets and would like to be able to rip down around a metre would be nice. Cheetah
Hey mate, there's 2 ways to set it up, the way I have it with each panel either side of the blade it goes to a max 700mm, but if you set it up with each panel on one side of the blade you'll get well over a metre, there's also an extension kit you can buy but I'm sure you'd rather keep it limited ay? Hope this was helpful! 👍
@@geoffstein3896 yeah you might be able to move the rails to one side, like off set it a bit that way you'll get a bigger rip, I haven't tried it tho, but the plates aren't hard to change around if need be, just a couple of bolts
@@ivideoedit100 my brother your choice is great but My advice is I think more accurately cut Makiswa and shop fox and carbatec ts c 250 this model's are really good.
I feel like that wiggle in the guide is a pretty big deal if making true cuts is important to you. Is there any way to fix it?
Great reveiw, just wondering if i should buy it with the sliding table aswell, but i dont think ill need it
Thanks mate, of course it depends on what your doing with it, wouldn't be a bad investment if you had the money either.
Love the unicycle in the background :) great job mate, have you find out about dado stack?
Haha, yeah can't ride it😂 I had a quick look and I don't think its possible, the thread to take the blade isn't very long.
Thanks anyways!
Good review, when I get one I think I will hinge mount the motor access panels and fit a key lock, makes for easy cleaning in there too😀

Your welcome, I would say 100% go for it if it's in your budget, she's been good for me! 👍
Was hoping you purchased the sliding attachment.
Yeah mate I did consider it but decided against it and I haven't really needed it just yet

@@ivideoedit100 thanks for the reply. Can you still have plates either side but move the rails back further for wider ripping do you know? Thanks

My brother table saw is best but problem is smaller
Depth cutting thanks for sharing video.
All good man, it is hard to find the perfect table saw they all have a flaw here and there, doesn't mean all table saws are bad tho 👍
