- Come along with Jerry and Linda to what may be the most amazing one stop shop anywhere! Just 90 minutes from The Villages is a convenience store/gas station with few rivals. Buc-ee’s has 104 gas pumps and a huge convenience store of over 50,000 square feet. Buc-ee’s is more than a gas station. Buc-ee’s is known for its selection of jerky, Texas BBQ, fudge, pastries and Beaver Nuggets, a sweet corn puff snack that’s similar to caramel corn. Buc-ee's is filled with as many products as you could imagine-delicious food to souvenirs, including their cartoon beaver mascot, Buc-ee. The company is Texas based with a location just outside Daytona Beach. It is one of two in Florida. Join The Newcomers as they shop, eat, and take in all that this amazing place has to offer.

We lived in TX before moving here. As you know, that’s where Bucees started. We were thrilled that they decided to build outside of TX. They’re building them all over! Just a minor correction, it’s not a truck stop. In fact, big semi trucks are not allowed there. The restrooms are SO clean and private! If you can’t find a snack or something to eat or drink, you must be blindfolded! 😂 Thanks for the tour!
Yes they wanted to build one in my town, but no one in the city that I lived in wanted it so most voted against it so they built it over by Denton it just opened up a couple years ago!
We live in New Braunfels, TX, just north of San Antonio, and currently we hold claim to the largest Buc-ees. But we will soon lose that title to the one that’s being built in Tennessee. Buc-ees is truly a sight to see. It’s always crowded no matter what time of day or night you’re there. And if you can “hold it” until you get there you won’t find better, cleaner restrooms anywhere. As always, enjoyed y’all’s video.
Being from Texas, this is a road trip tradition for our family. Some of our favorites are: hill country mild jerky, blueberry scones, brisket sandwiches, glazed pecans, any flavor of cookies. But we usually end up with much more.
The numbers they were calling out are the food orders. They have touch screen kiosk to order different types of sandwiches and other made to order foods.
I was sad you didn’t mentioned the restrooms. They are the cleanest I have ever seen. Plus just the size of them. I have never had to wait in line to use one. The stalls are like small rooms. Very private. Plus they have a special sanitizer for the toilet seats. Usually there is one employee in the restroom cleaning all the time. So they are never dirty. With the amount of people who come through, that is an amazing feat.
Buc-ees is hard to beat. Seen lots of places try to be like them, but there is only one Buc-ees!
Jerry did not visit the restroom, but I did. You are exactly right!! It is really the best ever! What a great, great operation.
That is great to know about the privacy in the restrooms! My husband has an intestinal condition that, well, let’s just say, causes him to want privacy in the Men’s RestRoom! We had never heard of Buc-ees before today, but if we ever have the opportunity to visit one, we will!

The bathroom is almost like a small closet. You have full walls and almost a full door. Or at least the women’s are…have yet to go into the men’s 😊. Plus they have lights above each door. When you turn the lock in the door it turns red. Green is when it is empty. I swear Buc-ees have thought of everything!
Jerry probably wasn’t allowed in the rest room because of his camera head.

Been to several Buc-ee’s on road trips. They have the overall cleanest restrooms from what I’ve seen.
Hey! BUCCEE'S is NOT a "truck stop"! In fact, trucks are not allowed at Bucee's. Its a huge store for travelers, originating in Texas.

The wife and I stopped in at Buc-ee's in Warner Robbins, Georgia a few months ago. A sight to be seen for sure! My takeaway was this - fun place to visit and shop for the unusual, good brisket but there is no place to sit down and eat it, and LOTS of gas pumps but there are no squeegees, towels, or water to wash your windshield with.
That fudge sure looked good! What a busy, busy place. Thanks for taking us along!
Buc-ees will be my new South of the Border stop, only 429 miles from the original. See ya when I get there- then add 75 miles west to The Villages. Beaver nuggets, beef brisket sandwich, fudge and glazed almonds all tempting, so tempting.
We discovered Buc-ee’s when we moved from Chicago to the Villages! It’s an “experience”!
Happy belated anniversary! All I ever heard of Buc-ee's were the ones in TX. Didn't know they were out there by ya'll. Just more of a reason to move on down.
I love Buc ees. Way in the back they have the old fashioned candy. Boston baked beans, wax bottles, etc.

It’s always so cute to me to see people’s first reaction to Buccees. Here in Texas, they’re everywhere and always a stop of every road trip or just a p stop. Cleanest bathrooms ever! I can honestly say I’ve personally contributed to y’all getting your own Buccees there in Florida with all the $$$ I’ve spent at “The Beaver” and yes, I do know how to spell Buc-ee's 😅

We live in TX and when out-of-state guests come to visit for the first time, we take them to Buc-ees. They always have the same comment Jerry had (Holy Cow!) LOL

I live about 20 min from a Buc-ees..and every time I go in I get overwhelmed. So I have just been trying one thing each time I go. Amazing place though.....glad you liked it. Happy Anniversary!!!!! Hope the beach was nice too :)

Love Buc-ee’s! They built a new one a few months ago in Florence, SC, right off I-95. Going to stop there on my way home from Virginia to The Villages on Thursday.

Our Buc-ee's Just opened a few months ago in Richmond, Kentucky. We really enjoy it! It's neat seeing the items you have available there that are specific to Florida. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I never even thought to ask for a sample! I'll know for next time ;)

Went there today and enjoyed the noisy circus as well had pulled pork sandwich. Enjoyed the video but even tho it was on Buc ee's across the street is a great shopping oportunity.

An awesome informative video Jerry and Linda! My grandparents lived in Daytona Beach for 41 years! They lived a block and a half from the Atlantic Ocean. Many fond memories of visiting there and walking right down to the World’s most famous beach! Thank you so much for sharing this! Love that place .. I bought a small lodge cast iron pot there .. use it for frying up smaller portions of chicken wings , fish , fries etc etc on the side burner of my gas grill outside .. nice insulated cups .. ofcourse we have purchased those brisket sandwiches.. it’s a great place to go when traveling.

We love Buc-ees we stop at two of them when we go to Indiana. My husband always has the brisket!
I bought the Party Like It's 1982 t-shirt because my husband and I have been together since January 1982! You should try the Beaver Nuggets in the large clear bags. They're delicious. They taste like caramel corn but with the texture of cheese puffs. If you're heading north there's a new Buc-ee's in St Augustine and a brand new one in Florence, SC.

Happy anniversary Jerry and Linda. I know of Buccee’s re: some friends that live in Georgia and every month they drive to one of the Florida cruise ports and Bucee’s is always their stop. Couldn’t imagine 104 gas pumps. Look at the jerky, fudge, BBQ, Jerry. Love your mindfulness. You didn’t want to pick up the sandwich unless you were buying it. Pecans, cookie dough station. Love when the consumer can sample before purchasing. Glass and dinnerware. Clothing. Noodles. This place is like Walmart. You can get every and anything. One would need to leave for their destination 2hrs early to have time to stroll through Buccee’s. 😂. I love the flavored syrups for my coffee. Wow. Look at him chop the brisket. Look at the fudge. It’s overwhelming. Thank goodness a single serving available. Portable charcuterie, cheesecao, stuffed animals. Back to the jerky. Oooh. Fitting room? Did Linda try anything on?😂. Toys too? Swimsuits. Beach toys. Storage containers. Even a toy Gizmo. Linda didn’t go to the bathroom before? Distracted with all the merch. Agreed Jerry. Like the colorful teeshirts. Thanks for sharing guys. I love this !!! I have gone to the NC mountains and driven down from FL and stopped here 5 times since Memorial Day weekend !!! The Daytona is my favorite one! The breakfast wraps with the brisket and scrambled eggs and the cinnamon coated almonds . Of course l had to get my husband a 4th of July tee shirt 😃
Oh and the bathrooms !! The great state of FL’s rest stops have definitely been slacking and Buc-ees are Soo clean .

Jerry….I am still looking for a good home for my mule so I can move to the villages. Maybe I could let her compete in polo matches and then I could bring her with me. Happy Anniversary!!!!!! We got to stop at Bucc-ees in TX about a month ago. Don't recall the guys wearing cowboy hats though... Anyway, I agree, it's a totally amazing place with so much to look at! The only thing that didn't make sense to me, was that they sell food (the kind you will consume right away) but I couldn't find any place to sit down & eat either inside or out. I saw so many cute things that will look good in the house we haven't bought yet down there.

Happy Anniversary Jerry and Linda !!! Loved today's video touring Buc-ees ! It's a favorite of my daughters and mine. We visit the one just off I-10 between Mobile and Pensacola. Gotta love the BBQ brisket sandwiches, coffee and modern, roomy bathrooms...full of ART !!! My only issue with the store is there is no place to sit and eat. All else is fantastic! Anxious to see the rest of your "beach day". Nancy in Mobile.
Loved seeing you guys outside of the Villages mingling with all different types of people. The lack of diversity would be my biggest concern living there. This was fun. When you asked the young guy if he liked working there his look said it all. 😂 Only in the Villages are people hyper positive and super chipper.

When I go on a road trip I crave candy much more than I do normally. Buc cee’s has so many types of candy that I have a hard time choosing! Their rainbow salt water taffy is a family fave. Also, their fountain drinks are MASSIVE! I’m glad to know there’s a Buccees in Daytona. I’m sure they will sell a lot of their Floridian merchandise just like they do in Texas. I’ve bought many Texas-oriented gifts from Buc cees! Thanks for your informative & perky channel! You two exude decency and make me wish I could move in next door! Hugs to Gizmo. My dog enjoys seeing him but she looks very perplexed when Gizmo talks! LOL
