      EQUALITY: Become SOMEONE

They are not remotely similar. You can see this all over Hollywood now. With stories about a person who doesnt need training because all they need is to realize how perfect they are already. All they need to do is believe in themselves. Its boring and pointless but they keep spewing out this one same nonsense story again and again.

Speaking as a recently retired police officer/supervisor/senior field training officer of 28 years in the Pacific Northwest from a large metropolitan city. I retired early after being forced by the administration to pass DEI hires even after it was documented by several training officers that their student officers were incompetent. Many of these DEI's hired have been "failed up" to administrative/specialty positions, causing havoc in the department. DEI, affirmative action, lowering standards, ect........should be outlawed.

Sir, you are totally correct, speaking as a Brit, this has infected our country and all western thinking countries. This crap has not come in over night, we didn’t get here, suddenly. This has been dripping into all uniformed and security services for decades. The results clear to see and embarrassing. I don’t want to see 30 or 40 % females within a security service or faces that tickbox’s. I want the best people available, no matter their gender, colour, etc. That to me is irrelevant, priorities need to be skill set and ability to do the job they are paid for and the responsibilities that come with the badge they carry. The system is to blame and those that allowed it. I see things in the UK that are so broken, they cannot be fixed. Respect to you and my American brothers and sisters in arms 🙏🇬🇧🇺🇸

As a former federal LEO, you are absolutely right. When I started in 2002 and transferred to a different federal agency, the training I received was top-notch. After 2017, I noticed that the training that we were receiving just went downhill. DEI was taking over, and the agency was hiring unqualified candidates. People who should not be around firearms. Even the oral interviews were watered down. So, I stopped participating in the oral boards. We had candidates who could not qualify. Instead of firing them, the agency gave them two, three, or even four chances to complete the academy. When I started, when you failed the academy, you needed to look for another job because you would get fired. No ifs and or buts about it; you were gone. Now, we live in different times, and I'm afraid one day, one of these DEI hires is going to accidentally shoot someone. I retired in Jan 2024 and could have stayed until Dec 2026, but from what I saw, I could not be a part of that agency any longer.

Those categorized as DEI hires are passing PT, firearms, academics, etc during their "remedials" even though they are blatantly failing.
When your final PT pass/fail run on the mile and a half assessment is 17 minutes, you failed. Ain't no f'ing way you pulled a 12:55 run out of your butt the very next day when your classmates couldn't see you running. An out of shape man can still handle himself in a fight if he knows what to do, he can carry another man, and he darn sure doesn't argue about not having to do something because they are a woman, or constantly throwing harassment charges against my other instructors. It helps explain a lot of the political left's actions to this day.

Discrimination was a key word for decades, now people more suited for jobs are discriminated against because of the focus on inclusion. War in 2024 is not men in the trenches, watching their dead buddies being ate by maggots and rats, there is a psychological divisive war being waged, enemies of America, and most European countries, they are attacking from within by divisive and destructive ideologies.
People really need to question the people pushing these agendas, and who pays them! They use mind control techniques, so no point blaming the devotees, the education system is being used to create the devotees, so people need to first address that, and claim the schools back, along with the minds of the children.

    DEI in my airline too.
They also aim for 30% gals in the cockpit.
Problem: there is not 30% of women in flight schools, much less ex-air force pilots.
So selection process is under pressure to favour the female candidates, not the best candidates.
It is also unfair to women, those who made it on their own are gonna get lumped in with the "quota" chicks. And they do not like it.
Women, you have to stand up and tell these ideologues that you do not want or need to be treated as inferior.
Equal opportunity is all you need.

everythingalabama: I think there used to be a height restriction. I joined the Army back when if you were female your only choice was the Women's Army Corps. That changed while I was still in basic training, but my first assignment was to a military police company (I was clerical in AWOL Apprehension). They had several women MP's, and all were at least my height (5'7") or taller. When I got shipped to Germany, I was the only woman (still clerical, in Supply there) in the entire company of Security Military Police (they guarded towers). I'm sure they did change their requirements when so many people started crying and whining about it. As for me, I never wanted to be on the front lines, I was quie happy where I was, providing support as needed. It may be "old-fashioned", but it's usually fact that men perform certain duties better than their female counterparts, and the reverse is true also.

I train on my own but that will never replace the training you need as a team. I’m sure it’s even worse for the secret service since they’re constantly being called up for protection details. One of the biggest differences between military and LE is you spend 90% of your time training and 10% in real world ops (obv wartime is different) while we spend 5% of our time training and 95% in the real world. Good thing they didn't have "DEI" during the battle in Normandy!!! And they were NOT even Secret Service--they were PAPER PUSHERS in "Homeland Security"!! It was bad enough with "affirmative action" when black people were given jobs based on their skin color and NOT their qualifications for the job. I have witnessed that problem in person. A house in our community was on fire, and the fire station had hired 2 people based on the fact they were black, not because they were trained. I watched as the house burned to the ground because they were hosing the garage, and the fire was on the far left kitchen side of the house. My sister was in Nursing school to become an RN and they were given a very hard test (as well they should with people's lives at stake). My sister just passed with a 65 after studying for 2 weeks. A black girl, who was bragging about "going out and partying and didn't study" got a 29 on her test. Yes, 29. The teacher gave her a 65 and passed her. My sister was furious and went to the teacher after class and asked what the heck was going on. The teacher looked around, then blatantly told my sister she had no choice--she had to mark the other girl's test "on a curve". Is THAT who you want to have as your Nurse when you bring your dying child into the ER??? NO!! You should be hired for a job based on your QUALIFICATIONS, and NOT your skin color, gender or sexual preference!!!

After they found out I was conservative, I never received another raise or promotion, even though qualified. The excuse at performance review time was that I didn't have the social skills that would allow me to be successful. It was never about ability or experience. I was always a hard worker and went out of my way to volunteer for extra work in times of computer outages, etc. But success was not based on any of that, it was all about DEI. You are spot on. In my youth, I was a cop. I started in a small town and our county offered me a position as a Communication Officer. I knew that with my disability (Rheumatoid Arthritis) I would not be good in any physical confrontation and I didn't want to get another officer injured or worse. So serving as a Communication Officer was a position where someone else would be better suited for 'street work'. So I excelled at what I the position called for. Naturally the position called for good marksmanship. So I had fun every time I outscored all the line officers, which was whenever I went to qualify or went to practice.
I think a lot of responsibilities lie with the individual's wanting to be something or to do something that they deep down know they aren't suited for, be it physicality or academically. After all, would you want to be treated by a doctor whose skills were excellent or someone whose skills were at the level of a medic, yet they have "Dr." in their title because they always wanted to be a doctor. So, there is a level of responsibility the applicant must shoulder also, and that the department's leadership failed at including that in the formula at the interview level. Wanting something and having the capacity to DO that job are two totally different things, especially if one is applying for a job one has had zero pryor experience in. And judging by the actions of the lady who had trouble reholstering her sidearm she had little firearm proficiency., just enough to prevent her from from shooting herself or someone near her.

There is zero problem with the diversity of people doing a job as long as the standards for entry, and the level of professionalism / proficiency doing that job are no way diluted or lowered, as was said it’s going to be very interesting what comes out in the wash.

I support diversity and inclusion. But equity is a weasel word. I agree with and support EQUALITY, not equity. Equity is a financial term, it does not belong in a discussion of social issues. Equity requires a mindset of equality of outcomes. I agree with your assessment and more people need to hear this.

DEI isn't utilized in professional sports, that alone should prove it's ineffectiveness.

Hey Jill, we should apply to this SECRET SERVICE agent ad. They are hiring women to protect important people at $35 an hour.
Jill: omg, yes. Let's do it..... Urhhhh, but what is the SECRET SERVICE?
Don't worry, it says training is provided. No experience needed.
    Jill: omg, wonderful

Been watching all your videos for several months since I have an 18X son who just finished OSUT at Benning. He is waiting for jump school and then report to Ft. Bragg. I have mixed emotions about him going SF, but I do hope he makes it. I met some of his 18X buddies at graduation, and I know you have addressed some of this in previous videos, but what advise would you give these kids now? Great channel. Thanks for the sacrifices you made.
