I'm a NG fan as well and am dying for NG4, but I would argue Bayonetta 1 is a stronger contender than this game. Theres more chapters, a greater variety of weapons, combos, special attacks, enemies, and it has moar ass and titties.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma is inferior to Ninja Gaiden Black because the creator had no part in making it. Sigma is riddled with unstable frame rate, poor collision detection and lack of on screen enemies just to name a few things. Don't play this series on PlayStation
In the normal version of Ninja Gaiden, kitetsu will Drain your health, Ninja Gaiden Black is a different version of Ninja Gaiden, with some improvements, fixes and changes and such. I bet you have Ninja Gaiden Black and in that version Kitetsu will not drain your health.
In original NG, you could equip the armlet of tranquility to avoid taking damage from the kitetsu sword. When doing so, the armlet then of course stops healing you, because it gives you exactly the amount of health the kitetsu consumes.

BenGenio Um, thanks I guess. I don't ever recall me ever saying I was playing this game the "Right" way to begin with so yes, I am just enjoying the game with the way I play it. Don't know how old you are but I've been playing video-games for 20yrs now so I'm a straight old school gamer meaning I don't use ANY guides unless I'm seriously stuck in said game. That being said I rarely used any for this game so yes I play for fun & to enjoy the game with all surprises it will throw my way. Granted I'll take a tip/hint if it'll improve my experience on the game but I did take your comment to some offense but it is just your opinion and comment so I appreciate it non the less. You're not the 1st so I assume this is your last "Negative" comment or I'll block you just like I did the last. Just don't get why some people have to be so critical on a simple play-through on a classic game cause I love this game just as much as anyone else but not trying to be the worlds best at it or say I am.
