There are some reviews on Amazon that say it has a hot HDMI connection when used with power delivery, and some report their's having died in just a few months of use. Reviews like this make me very hesitant to pick up any usb-hub like this. :p

Hey how come the steamdeck is charging what exaclty did you do so that the steamdeck will charge? Im using that kindn of ugreen but its not charging its perfectly fine with the output my issue is the charging im hoping you could shed some light 😅

Why would it brick the Switch?
EDIT: Alright, I looked into this issue a bit. This video ( th-cam.com/video/u6INIHrZBGg/w-d-xo.html ) explains it pretty clearly how power delivery issues can fry a chip in the Switch. Incompatible and cheap hubs don't play well with the Switch's TV Mode protocol and deliver wrong or unstable power to it.
So is this particular one bad for a Switch?
