- Singer-songwriter Nick Jonas sat down with E! News’ Jason Kennedy to open up about his recent engagement to actress Priyanka Chopra. He’s later joined by Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols and wife Deidre Pujols to talk about what they’re doing to try to prevent human trafficking and modern slavery.

I wish them all the best. If any of them are reading this which I doubt but I’d like to really highlight how rare they both are as people and their relationship is rare. But at the same time it’s so not different. The world needs real people like them. Islamic tradition is familiar with this relationship dynamic where the woman is older than the man and there’s nothing wrong with it. They’ll figure out their relationship.
Those saying she needs to stop putting her arm around him like that etc. First off wives/girlfriends do. Secondly, the dynamic of their relationship is slightly different. They are coming from different cultures, walks of life, religions but they hold common, strong values that tie them together.
I think they’ve connected at a very deep level so they shouldn’t care much about the ten year gap. They’re both young, beautiful, talented passionate people who truly deserve one another.
I do think they’ll have to make adjustments as any couple needs to. That’s for them to figure out.
