Hello lovelies, trucking is not going as planned, and I do need an income of some sort. I thought, after many persuasions from a friend, why not try Mary Kay. I am now officially a beauty consultant. This is so out of my comfort zone but that is the reason as to why I thought I should give it a try. The makeup and skincare are actually really good. I am pleasantly surprised. Anyhow, enjoy.

Thank you for watching a moment in my life, ASMR style. Just remember, life passes you by in the blink of an eye (metaphorically speaking). Every second counts. Whatever makes your heart throb is where your time needs to be well spent. Just do it now, not tomorrow or next week. You are beautiful, elegant, genuine, and kind.

What exactly is ASMR? What is its intention or purpose, who is captivated by it, and why? Or, as researcher Craig Richard examines: “Why are millions of people watching someone fold a napkin?” Neuroscientists are now experimenting with fMRIs and electroencephalography to see if the brains of “tingleheads,” as they are defined, are any different than those who don’t tremble at the sight of napkin-folding. Their findings suggest that ASMR may alleviate some people’s symptoms of stress and insomnia. In addition, the brains of individuals who experience ASMR may be organized a little differently. Let’s continue reading, you will be pleasantly dazzled!
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is an experience identified by a static-like or tingling sensation that usually commences on the scalp and makes its way down the back of the neck and upper spine.
ASMR manifests into a "euphoria" characterized by "a mixture of pleasant feelings and a particular static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly brought upon by specific auditory or visual stimuli.
    Whispering triggers
Psychologists Nick Davis and Emma Barratt discovered that whispering was a compelling trigger for 75% of the 475 subjects who signed up for an experiment to investigate the overall nature of ASMR. That statistic is emulated in the popularity of intentional ASMR videos that are composed with someone speaking in a whispered voice.
    Auditory triggers
A diverse range of individuals who experience ASMR affirm that numerous of specific non-vocal ambient noises are also powerful triggers of ASMR. Some of which include the sound of rain, fingers scratching, tapping a surface, crushing of eggshells, crinkling and crumpling of a flexible material such as paper, or writing.
    Personal attention role play triggers
In addition to the effectiveness of particular auditory stimuli, many subjects state that ASMR is triggered in the extent of delicate personal attention, often encompassing a combined physical touch and vocal explanation, such as when having their nails painted, hair brushed, cut and styled, ears squeaky cleaned, or body massaged.
Psychologists Nick Davis and Emma Barratt discovered that personal attention was an effective trigger for 69% of the 475 subjects who participated in a study conducted at Swansea University, second in popularity only to whispering.
    Clinical role play triggers
Viewers also claim that “ASMRtist” providing a clinical or medical simulate service is also a favourite type of an intentional subcategory of ASMR. Simulations include medical examinations, hearing tests, teeth cleaning, neurological screenings etc.
A similar study found that those who experience ASMR showed significantly greater reductions in their heart rates when watching ASMR videos (an average decrease of 3.14 beats per minute) compared to those who do not. They also demonstrated a compelling increase in positive emotions including relaxation and feelings of social connection.
