I have been using a 570 atv since 2014 but have been going back and forth the past couple of years on whether or not to get a sled due to the amount of slush we get every year. And I narrowed it down to the Skandic or Expedition. Actually looked at a couple of 2023 Expeditions with the 24” track. Man what a huge machine. But I’ve seen atvs, snowmobiles, and snow dogs get stuck in slush. Our Fire and Rescue team has an atv with tracks that they use to rescue stuck people in the slush. So I decided to buy a new Can-Am 850 max XT because I figured I would want more power with using tracks and with the cost of the machine with tracks, I would be right up there with one of those sleds. Granted the Expedition I looked at had the 900 Ace Turbo R, so the most expensive set up. I just hope I made the right decision. I read a lot of forums about opinions on whether using a sled or atv with tracks and they are all over the place. I hope you get to keep it, it’s a beautiful machine.

Hoping to get this snowmobile next year for ice fishing! Look like lots of mods for storage and accessories. Never had a snowmobile so hoping this will help take me to the next level!

Milwaukee pack out is the best for storage and for mounting! You can have something made for a packout to lock into that quick link system…. There is a video on TH-cam of that exact snowmobile and pack out mods.😊

Have the tundra 600 ace, great fuel mileage but a bit tippy at times, debating on the exped 600 efi. Whether it is worth giving up fuel mileage for stability and newer sled

What is the gas mileage like on the 600 EFI? Does this have an Eco, Normal, Sport mode?
I have an older model of the 900 ACE Skandic SWT and LOVE it. It literally SIPS gas on eco mode I can go 3-4 weeks without filling it up. Regarding the pull start, I drive it EVERYDAY to get home in the winter and it ALWASYS starts. I have NEVER had a battery problem, even in the early winter when I start it up for the first time.
Not 100% sure on the different fuel consumption modes but it seemed to get decent milage for the amount of time I got to run it last season!
Can you do a more in depth review on the Jaws of ice. Looks nice.
