If differ had better stamina, he had 70% chance to snag the champion throne too in 2012, either way mounir and him are one of the best out there, both are champions.
Personally, I thought Roxrite was better than Differ. But, in hindsight, Roxrite was slowing down compared to when he battled Arex. The commentary said he did have a back injury so that might have affect the voting.
I know this comment is like mega old and I don't know if you'll see this but Cloud faced Differ in 2009 and it's pretty similar, I'd say they probably looked up to each other a lot after that
When you understand Roxrite's style from a bboy's perspective, it's pretty hard to not give props, but, that said, I can see why the judges mainly went with Differ. He looked loose, had some mad flow, really leaving some highlights with his tricks. Rox was cool in the heat, but he did look a little strained compared to last year, and he didn't address a few freezes like he usually does. Mad respect to both though. Good battle.
+James Ryan F. Ceballos kid david's old man...and in my opinion he's like a stone rolling, next to no subtly in his style. bring on Steez, Nori, Isaiah or Wing-0 and he would be knocked out like "that" respecting your opinion tho PEACE!!! -KS
Wow, what a technical battle, props to both dancers. Differ won me over, since his moves were very technical, but flashy at the same time and you don't normally see that.
good judging by taisuke. roxrite got the first and third round just by watching it once although safe but he got it. 3rd round of differ is so cloud back in 2009 duh.lol
Also Roxrite was kind of repetitive. In his first set he does a lot of the same halo freezes as his 3rd set. And in his second set he does the same elbow freeze twice.
Bboying is not just about being "foundationally" correct but about dynamics, flows, interruptions, breaks, and transitions of ideas. The clearer and more fortified execution of these ideas wins. Roxrite is really great, but Differ won this fair and square.
Shoot, I'd be tired too if it was like 100+ degrees, hot bright lights shining down on me, long sleeved shirt, pants. 1 hour+ of bboying. I'd be dead before I even touch the floor xD
The crowds don't always pick for the one who gets cheered for more - prime example Issei vs. Victor. Issei definitely won over the crowd more. I say Differ won because even though he didn't show certain levels on the foundations, he still maintained musicality with huge dynamic moves, whilst Roxrite did this with footwork/freezes/stacks. He played it too safe. Differ took risks, and it paid off. That's what I think, anyways.
I think he used this type of flow against roxrite because he knew he was battling against a champion. But if roxrite won red ill bc one 2012 he would be crowned as a legend! For winning twice in a row!
No, I really think I saw it from Cloud first. Therefore, stole it from Cloud. Of course, no move's ever stolen. I was just too lazy to explain what I meant, was on my phone. lol.
Да Differ однозначно,крассава!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Первый судья не знаю о чём думал,подняв имя Roxrite! Тайске или как там правильно читается его имя видно в друзьях с Roxrite))
Like rox's 1st set but next sets were repetitive and boring he tried to safe his moves. Differ has musicality with crazy original moves all sets. Last year in Moscow Rox win clearly 100% all rounds, but in Rio he looks tired. And judges like Neguin Niek Moy know better who wins battle than internet bboys or fans of roxrite .
I don't think dynamic and freezes can win against a full packaged bboy like Rox. The problem is always been the same, the crowds are cheering for those who have flashy moves. And the judges pick which bboy that's get cheered. RBBC1 - 2012 is the worst part throughout the whole RBBC1 series. Differ might killed it, but I don't think Differ should've won. He lacks foundation and few more elements. It's just my opinion. Just tell me what's up and let's talk. I don't wanna argue and shit. Peace ;)
it's funny. if roxrite had won this. then all these internet bboy know-it-alls will start calling everyone here who thinks differ won a buncha eboys that dont understand roxrite's talent.
0:18 look at that ! all on beat, you don't understand this dance at all. You want to be entertained but think roxrite is boring ... watch some power moves or flips.
I still think rox got robbed. He was hittin the beats crazy. C'mon man are u serious. I thought the winner was suppose to go to the guy who's more complete. You can't honestly say differ was more complete here.
If differ had better stamina, he had 70% chance to snag the champion throne too in 2012, either way mounir and him are one of the best out there, both are champions.
Differ was very original, it's good to see new bboys come in with something fresh. Roxrite was old-solid though too. Peace.
roxrite's first round lol... didn't miss a single beat or a single move. legend
He was a lot more musical than differ
I went to this Video because Red bull bc one Camera mens sucks ! Thanks Yak Films !
Differ is so fun to watch, I wish he had more endurance so he wouldn't have burned out later.
Damn differ moves so smooth
brazilian crowd really loves differ its beautiful lmao
How roxrite started is my favorite part of the video. Is like he is feeling the music.
Personally, I thought Roxrite was better than Differ. But, in hindsight, Roxrite was slowing down compared to when he battled Arex. The commentary said he did have a back injury so that might have affect the voting.
i get your point. for me it was a tie
Roxrite was out of rhythm and had all his old moves on. Differ was fresh and original. Not everyday Roxrite. :)
It's like tradition to watch this once in a while haha..
Differ reminds me of a Korean bboy Cloud...
Cloud is from usa.. not korea... he born in Philippines
I know this comment is like mega old and I don't know if you'll see this but Cloud faced Differ in 2009 and it's pretty similar, I'd say they probably looked up to each other a lot after that
@@DanceDeepDas he meant Differ is the Korean equivalent of bboy Cloud
Differ has saod that Cloud is one of his main inspirations
If Differ had this kind of flow in the finals.. he would've won for sure!
dammmDammn did you recognize that Differ´s moves are not really difficult , but so much creativity , he is so goood
It is difficult, since it needs brain to execute. You cant just mindless doing it.
When you understand Roxrite's style from a bboy's perspective, it's pretty hard to not give props, but, that said, I can see why the judges mainly went with Differ. Taisuke said in an interview he looks for musicality when judging. He probably thought roxrite was more musical.
first song pleasee !!
Differ's sets were so dope , everything was on point
No the airchair
i actually saw the whole battle!!
3 ROUND OF DIFFER SIMILATER CLOUD'S STYLE
similater style ...! true
differ have the most impressive style in bboys world respect....
That's your opinion
+James Ryan F. Ceballos kid david's old man...and in my opinion he's like a stone rolling, next to no subtly in his style.
bring on Steez, Nori, Isaiah or Wing-0 and he would be knocked out like "that"
respecting your opinion tho
PEACE!!!
-KS
differ, so unpredictable! most of his moves are unexpected. wow!!!!!
Differ barrilete cósmico de donde saliste viejo que crack!!
Wow, what a technical battle, props to both dancers. Differ won me over, since his moves were very technical, but flashy at the same time and you don't normally see that.

I know he lost. HE played it way to safe.. but you just can't say roxrite's boring ..
it's hard to predict what differ wants to do
yesss thank you man greatest comment i've read about him lol
I'm a massive roxrite fan, but I think that Differ edged him out. he was just more interesting to watch then rox
defiantly used cloud for inspiration
Bboying is not just about being "foundationally" correct but about dynamics, flows, interruptions, breaks, and transitions of ideas. The clearer and more fortified execution of these ideas wins. Roxrite is really great, but Differ won this fair and square.
Whats the music pretty please? Maby there is a list of all the beats/original music used in this BC One? :)
Differ killed it!
He actually rolls into it pretty nicely.
3-0 for differ..1 so sick,,,!
2:27 i found dyzee in the crowd! white tank, middle in between differ nd roxrite
wow nice one
Differ was so ahead of his time
Shoot, I'd be tired too if it was like 100+ degrees, hot bright lights shining down on me, long sleeved shirt, pants. 1 hour+ of bboying. I'd be dead before I even touch the floor xD
Hahaha Dyzee in the crowd! 2:27
+McmiteTrungie well spotted

battle of the night!
I think he means a korean version of cloud.
How many times have you seen Roxrite crash or mess up? NEVER. And besides, he's an expert on staying on beat.
LOL! You really think Cloud came up with that?
qual o nome da primeira beat???
what name first beat??
I think he used this type of flow against roxrite because he knew he was battling against a champion. But if roxrite won red ill bc one 2012 he would be crowned as a legend! For winning twice in a row!
I expected more from Roxrite. Differ deserved the win.
what is the name of the song ?
Pretty sure its Darude - sandstorm"
Can anyone please tell me these songs???
Differ has similar style to Cloud !!!!
wing, cloud, differ. The only thing they have in common is this moment of surprise(originality) otherwise they differ from one another significantly.
There is musicality in differ's set if you couldnt realize it just keep replaying there is.
Just few moves but he looses musicality often
Track name please !
No, I really think I saw it from Cloud first. Therefore, stole it from Cloud. Of course, no move's ever stolen. I was just too lazy to explain what I meant, was on my phone. lol.
Differ shoulda saved some of that stuff or later, he coulda won the finals with those suicides. He already had him beat after the first round.
roxrite was good but he just didn't have the speed and flare that differ had.
I wonder why Taisuke voted Rox.. Any ideas?
still the, same question in 2019
Да Differ однозначно,крассава!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Первый судья не знаю о чём думал,подняв имя Roxrite! Тайске или как там правильно читается его имя видно в друзьях с Roxrite))
lmao differ is so damn big roxrite looks little as heck in the beginning lol
i think roxrite loose because he didn't step up his game in 2012, he did just the same sets that he did in the 2011.
Like rox's 1st set but next sets were repetitive and boring he tried to safe his moves. Differ has musicality with crazy original moves all sets. Last year in Moscow Rox win clearly 100% all rounds, but in Rio he looks tired. And judges like Neguin Niek Moy know better who wins battle than internet bboys or fans of roxrite .
song?
Differ copied one of cloud's moves at 2:25 from the 09 redbull bc one against Neguin.

roxrite actually looks like he doesn't give a shit. the beats were easy to hit for someone like roxrite
Tbh Roxrite killed it with his first set but the second and third set were weak to win against differ :/
Rip roxrite
Differ wow
one
it's funny. if roxrite had won this. then all these internet bboy know-it-alls will start calling everyone here who thinks differ won a buncha eboys that dont understand roxrite's talent.
3:10 yeah taisuke, feel stupid.
No one can feel stupid for their own thinking when you judge the musicality no just because everyone say something it is true.
Differ smoked Roxrite!
killer
well he IS differ's teacher.
Thought Roxrite should have won.
0:18 look at that ! all on beat, you don't understand this dance at all. You want to be entertained but think roxrite is boring ... watch some power moves or flips.
differ . foda. original
looks like everyone got tired of roxrite's shit
LOL, as if roxrite needed to win bc one again last year, he wasn't even trying. He wants to see a new champion
lol what. cloud didnt teach differ.
Taisuke was non adequate like always.
too bad he ran out of moves and was quite tired.
lol so true
DIFFER LOOKS LIKE CLOUD .l.
Roxrite played it too safe
Roxrite dances like he doesn't know what power moves are
dude roxrite can smoke a lot of bboys without power cause he haves the style and the clean and original moves
No No No No Roxrite won beat, original, freeze and moves Roxrite winner.
But roxrite is amazing and mojado
Differ won the battle in the first round. Lol
Differ has no musicality? He hit all beat and look at Roxrite second set, he messed up the music.
LOL, roxrite fan )))
Roxrite no era tu dia !!!! encerio no lo era :S
Why then roxrite champion ... = \
hehe
I still think rox got robbed. He was hittin the beats crazy. C'mon man are u serious. I thought the winner was suppose to go to the guy who's more complete. You can't honestly say differ was more complete here.
Roxrite won that battle... props to Differ he had some dope moves n flow
Differ stated that Cloud is a big inspiration for him.. so naturally, there may be some moves that look alike.
when differ started, Cloud had not existed.
@@badboy8526Cloud started 1995
For nothing!
