De shell the mussels, cover in rock salt inside an Tupperware container ( do not use iodised salt), place in fridge overnight then store in the freezer. Best bait for Trevally / Parore 😃 we do well with the snapper on it aswell

cheers man. for west coast or rocky areas i usually use 50lb braid as i want to put on much hurt on the fish as possible. brand wise i'm experimenting and finding some new stuff as i heard some brands produce super thin braid but breaking strain is high as
