You're so welcome, Ruth! Try starting by learning two patterns, like crescent moon and printemps. Just practice those for a bit. You'll feel more confident once you've learned a couple patterns. Check out tanglepatterns.com for more patterns.

✴Could you please also share how you sharpen you stump or keep it sharp?
Thanks, Crystal! To "sharpen" a tortillion, unravel a paperclip and push it up through the bottom of the coiled paper. Keep pushing until the tip is sharpened to your liking. For a paper stump, simply rub all sides of the point across a nail file until it's sharpened. Trim any stray fuzzies with a pair of sharp detail scissors.

So amazing, Amber! The card looks like it's comprised of about 10 layers of stuff! So much dimension. And I love the ink smooshing and the zentangle combo together - though it looked even better once you added the shadows to the smooshing! Crazy cool!!
