I bought my first CW June 26th 2005, their first month of selling watches. I still have it, a black Malvern Chronograph. I might not wear it much, but it means a lot to me as they sent it out to me in Iraq where I was serving with the RAF. I have been a fan of CW ever since and now have 5, and maybe a Bel Canto next… we’ll see. Nice video, hope you enjoyed your trip here.
Wow Bill that was amazing!! 💯💪👍🙌 I can’t believe you captured all that footage during your none stop trip to England!! True video pro!! 🤓👏👏 Excellent coverage of Christopher Ward Towers, and lots of extras from your visit! 👌😎 I enjoyed you staying over very much - don’t leave it too long until #2 visit! 🇬🇧😁🇺🇸🤓🤝✊
I visited last November and became a bigger fan of the brand. Amazing value for money. A Twelve and a Trident 300 already in my collection. Preordering a Bel Canto next!
. Wow, Billy .... This was one of the most entertaining, great quality short videos I have seen about watches. . I just wish it would have been another thirty or so minutes, instead of the seemingly single minute it lasted 🙂 On top of that, it made me an instant fan of CW watches. I will now search for something more and longer lasting online, since it seems that all the watches I just saw are worth owning, or at least longing for. Thank you, Billy, you are providing great entertainment and information, and your videos are of wonderful style and quality. . Congratulations ! Job well done. 🙂 . Cheers !!! Life is Good ! 🤙🤙 🤙 .
It’s all relative. The Bel Canto is an affordable chiming watch as there are shockingly few mechanical chiming watches below 5 figures. But, yes, compared to the vast choices at under 20 at a Walmart or even the 100 price point of cheaper Seiko/Timex type watches, 3000+ for a watch is not in the same league of affordability.
@Not A Watch Snob then how can they pretend it to be a Swiss made watch ? Movement is Japanese and brand is English... I am a little bit lost. I am swiss and that makes me think of the Toblerone swiss chocolate naming. This brand will not be anymore swiss chocolate because they are produced in Slovakia...
@@NotAWatchSnob Smiths was around in the C19 but Time Factors bought the name in the 1990s, along with a few others. I suppose it comes down to whether you consider Time Factors / Smiths to be a new company or a rebirth of an historic brand.

Very generous use of the word "affordable" when describing that awful Bel Campo watch!
HAHAHA I kinda agree

So... no tour of the actual factory...
@@claytondennis8034 you saw the factory
Bel canto isn’t anymore sellita calibre but myota i think that’s the reason why I am not buying the last model
Well its above a sw200
But yes the FS01 is mayota

so you didn't go to the factory?
I went to wear they assemble and regulate them
“In 2005 they launch the worlds first on-line only watch brand.”
Smiths / Time Factors???!!! 🙄
Smiths has been around since the 40s... kinda hard for them to sell online back then.. CW ONLY SOLD ONLINE. No retail shops

@John Smith exactly what I mean. It Already had name recognition
you need to become an editor full time bro
You think so jaha thanks
I hope
can you pay by cash in the showroom
I'd imagine you couldb
You really did say Bel Campo over and over?
Hahaha
20 more minutes
I can’t get over the CW logo. It’s awful. Re this video - what factory are you referring to? That’s a shipping center. No factory there.
Exactly
Very superficial and a lot of phrases you literally copied from CW's promotional expressions.
Bad & lazy work.
@@joostvankempen6552 thank you for the kind words
That is not the factory.
