Ferrata dell'Amicizia a Cima Sat. Trentino, Riva del Garda

Percorso: partenza da Riva del Garda (consiglio pk ex. Ospedale), si sale per il Bastione, segnavia n.404, da cui bel panorama su Riva del Garda. Si continua per Capanna Santa Barbara (568 m). Poco dopo inizia la ferrata dell'Amicizia, dopo un ultimo tratto di sentiero semplice ma esposto. Diverse scale da affrontare, di cui la prima, sebbene non la più unga, è la più impegnativa essendo verticale. Dopo 5km, quota 1.080 m, si raggiunge un bel punto panoramico. L’ultima scala porta alla Cima Sat (1.245 m). Per la discesa abbiamo optato per il Sentiero dei Crazidei 418, verso dx rispetto alla cima, con ritorno ad anello all’auto.
Distanza: 7 km (anello). Dislivello: circa 1.200 m, da 40 m a 1.245 m
Livello: Sentiero EEA. La ferrata è tecnicamente facile, tutta attrezzata. È fisicamente impegnativa, per il dislivello (e il caldo se andate in estate)
Equipaggiamento: casco, guanti da arrampicata, scarpe da avvicinamento, kit ferrata, longe per la sosta
Periodo: Aprile

Itinerary: departure from Riva del Garda (ex. hospital pk council), go up to the Bastion, trail n.404, from which a beautiful view of Riva del Garda. Continue to Capanna Santa Barbara (568 m). Shortly after, the via ferrata dell'Amicizia begins, after a last stretch of simple but exposed path. Different stairs to tackle, of which the first, although not the greasiest, is the most demanding as it is vertical. After 5km, at an altitude of 1,080 m, you reach a beautiful panoramic point. The last stairway leads to Cima Sat (1,245 m). For the descent we opted for the Sentiero dei Crazidei 418, towards the right of the top, with a circular return to the car.
Distance: 7 km (ring). Altitude difference: about 1,200 m, from 40 m to 1,245 m
Level: EEA Trail. The via ferrata is technically easy, fully equipped. It is physically demanding, due to the height difference (and the heat if you go in the summer)
Equipment: helmet, climbing gloves, approach shoes, via ferrata kit, belay lanyard
Period: April
