One that I've been working on since a while, one of my Patreon member mentioned that it already exist somewhere on the net but I already had like 10 hours of work made so I had to finish it.
Honestly I knew Kurt Rosenwinkel was on a different level but I didn't expect that. His mastery of harmony is really mysterious. He's the guy that uses the more varied harmonic ideas and voicings when improvising I have seen. There's a lots of analysis you can do on that one, It is some great study material.
    Have fun!

Wow. His mastery of the instrument, feel, harmonic ingenuity, really is unparalleled. He rarely plays idiomatic stuff which maybe can be attributed to his being a piano player? All I know is this is a perfect song for Kurt’s mastery. Thank you, Francois, for what must had been a painstaking undertaking!

Hi Francois, thank you for your amazing work. It's really incredible. Reflections is the album I've listened to hundreds of times and cannot get tired of. The song called "Fall" in this album is also my favorite. I'm looking forward to a chance that you could transcript it. Wish you all the best!

Super song! Thanks for the time you are spending on these transcriptions! Maybe if I can also make a suggestion.... can you have a look at the song "Gilles et Mirona" from Philip Catherine, Belgian jazz guitar player. I once started working on the lead sheet, but did not have the courage to go that detailed 🤓 . All the best.

Wonderful transcription work! I would love for you to develop a transcription for his beautiful version of Fall by Wayne Shorter from the Reflections album.

I don't understand all the different chords going on here. Is it just 15 variations of Fm7, for example.

    • @gokudegrees

diff inversions and forms. For example, take a dm and play all the chords by stacking fourths. What chords have u made? can you identify all the notes in reference to d minor? now move them, where is the 3, the 7?
idk that might be where to start

Nathan Borton transcribed it but left out the outro and some parts were a bit simplified.
