I’ve only gone through the game a couple of times but one thing that always bothered me was how it that Elizabeth can just walk the streets of Columbia and not have a bunch of citizens just crowd around her. Isn’t she kind of a big deal being the daughter of the current leader of their city and future leader?

None of them have probably seen her in person due to her being in the tower for so long. Obviously they can compare her to the statues but they don't look exactly like her.

Last time I played, I didn't just rush through shooting and explored and surprisingly enough. She can interact with a LOT of the environment.

Yep. Pop rocks are the exact same ingredients, sugar and food coloring but at least you get a bit of a broadway production instead of zero texture.
