    My thoughts about your setup are that you have kept it minimalistic, aesthetic and practically efficient as well, this is exactly how I would have done if it was for me and you it feels as if you have given me a sneak peek of my possible dream luggage setup, so thanks to you for that. I would also like to know about all the accessories that you have added for this setup apart from the one that you have explained like the front crash guard and the tank bag (which you mentioned the brand but would be great if you list all the products in the description) for instance. Also, a video or a reel on how you pack your stuff for a ride using these saddle bags would be much appreciated which would also give us an idea of whether this would suit our needs and help us with the buying decision considering it is just 15 lts each.

    Do load up the bags and make a small video of how much pair of clothes can be stuffed into these and how do they look when loaded

      Provided you can replicate the Viaterra saddle stays.

    Are the flaps made of hard plastic? If not, I feel the laptop pouch should've been on the inner side. Reason : In case of a crash, it could damage the laptop.

    A video suggestion for you: Take these bags and place them on the floor. Then line up what you pack them with and proceed to pack on camera. What I am saying is that please demonstrate how much stuff these can hold. I need to pack - 1 pair of thick cargo shorts, 1 pair of formal pants, 1 pair of casual sandals, 4 t shirts, 3 formal shirts, 8 pieces of underwear, 1 medium towel. A thin (but slightly heavy) 13" laptop with charger.
    I want to know is between both bags, I can accommodate these items without the bag bulging at the seams and feeling like it is being forced. See normal cabin bags can be stuffed to the brim and squeezed shut without worries. Anyways, the thing is being carried separately. But, here if even slight overpacking can put stress on the seams and on the "pouch" that is holding the bag to the saddle stay.
    So, would appreciate your help clarifying the capacity.
    Thanks in advance.

    Really useful product for long touring ,just a thought how safe is this saddle bag, need to keep the bike always in our vicinity during the long breaks…they could have give a locking system too…will be good to load the bag and check the stability. Does the outer liner cover the velcro side fully? Thanks for the video.

      @motovin77  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jitesh, During long breaks I would just take the bags along with me, they are just 15+15L, no locking system but a Velcro behind which is concealed, stability wise feels solid, outer rain liner covers complete front and portions of rear side but not complete back side. Will use it and share feedback... You can drop by to take a look at the bags if you like. 😊

    Hi Vinay, What happened to your Givi Top box? Secondly, what do you suggest - having a hard (metal) top box or a fibre (plastic) one or soft bags? I have 390 ADV and am kind of confused. Pls suggest. Thanks

    How durable the slot or enclosure that is being used to mount? Since the entire weight will be on it.

      It's very secure, to carry 15L of travel luggage like clothes, gadgets like laptop, camera etc.

    Hello Sir Ji,
    Many thanks for making & sharing this video. Just let us know if there is any provision for security of these saddle bags, in case if you are not around your bike. Reason is that, I am also thinking of procuring these saddle bags but the only concern is of theft.

    • @motovin77
      @motovin77  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Welcome Sir and thanks for following my channel.
      These bags don't have any locking mechanism, however it isn't easy for a lay man to figure out quickly how to get these bags off the saddle stay and since I use them with rain covers most of the time, they remain discreet. Additionally I have a sensor based security alarm (Video I had posted on my channel) installed on the bike which alerts me if someone touches the bike, so these bags are not a deal breaker especially at the price point.
