Good interview. This retired military general's answer is ethical. Having said that, it doesn't mean that the current régime of ethiopia is on the right track. Unfortunately, by far and large, this régime became one of the most disastrous political party in ethiopian history. For instance, when the UN top director asked the prime minister of ethiopia concerning the Eritrean régime's presence in Tigray state of ethiopia, the PM parially acknowledged that the Eritrean troops are in Tigray but in the Bade disputed region, which internationally was assigned to Eritrea. How ever, due to some issues, this disputed land is not demarcated and unil prior to the war between the Ethio_Eritrea and the Tigray people liberation front forces war out broke, the Badme sub district zone was under ethiopia's sovereignty, administration and ethiopian defence forces. In terms of international law, the land has to be demarcated and the ethiopian Parliament need to have its recognition of this legal proceses till its finishing point. Prior to this procedure all intervention of the Eritrean army in an areas of sovereign ethiopia's administration zone is illegal and invasion. Furthermore, when Eritrea became free of ethiopia's occupation in 1991, the Eritrean régime did not asked about this piece of land it continued as part of ethiopian sovereign land. In 1993, Erittea did its referendum vote and it got its recognition of the United Nations as a sovereign country. Again in this time, the Eritrean regime did not have any question about Badme piece of land and this land continued as ethiopian sovereign land until last month of this year 2020. Now without any recognition of the ethiopian Parliament, the land of Badme and other subdistricts including Sheraro and Adi Hageray wich were not part of disputed areas of Tigray are under Eritrean régime's occupation. Therefore, the ethiopian defence force is not doing anything its expected duty to keep ethiopia's sovereignity. Good interview. This retired military general's answer is ethical. Having said that, it doesn't mean that the current régime of ethiopia is on the right track. Unfortunately, by far and large, this régime became one of the most disastrous political party in ethiopian history. For instance, when the UN top director asked the prime minister of ethiopia concerning the Eritrean régime's presence in Tigray state of ethiopia, the PM parially acknowledged that the Eritrean troops are in Tigray but in the Bade disputed region, which internationally was assigned to Eritrea. How ever, due to some issues, this disputed land is not demarcated and unil prior to the war between the Ethio_Eritrea and the Tigray people liberation front forces war out broke, the Badme sub district zone was under ethiopia's sovereignty, administration and ethiopian defence forces. In terms of international law, the land has to be demarcated and the ethiopian Parliament need to have its recognition of this legal proceses till its finishing point. Prior to this procedure all intervention of the Eritrean army in an areas of sovereign ethiopia's administration zone is illegal and invasion. Furthermore, when Eritrea became free of ethiopia's occupation in 1991, the Eritrean régime did not asked about this piece of land it continued as part of ethiopian sovereign land. In 1993, Erittea did its referendum vote and it got its recognition of the United Nations as a sovereign country. Again in this time, the Eritrean regime did not have any question about Badme piece of land and this land continued as ethiopian sovereign land until last month of this year 2020. Now without any recognition of the ethiopian Parliament, the land of Badme and other subdistricts including Sheraro and Adi Hageray wich were not part of disputed areas of Tigray are under Eritrean régime's occupation. Therefore, the ethiopian defence force is not doing anything its expected duty to keep ethiopia's sovereignity. Rather, it became a tool and a machine to fulfill some reactionists' and dictators' irrational ambitions.
