“ We’re going to have to go get the other rulebook. That’s at my house”🤣 i’m going to start showing new gamers this intro when I try to explain to them that you don’t want to buy certain games unless you plan on playing that specific game ALOT
27:04 sorry, not native here - could someone tell me what that character said to the fortuneteller? Unfortunately, automatic YT subtitles didn't catch that too, thanks!
Peter Graves, the narrator sounds like. I mean, it just sounds like him. He always was in absurd , parodies like "Airplane" and I think he was in some of the Leslie Nielsen movies.
I don't own this yet, but I've been told that this is one of the easier app-driven games to learn. It automates a lot of things for players, and it feels new-gamer friendly for the most part. Some elements might feel rocky; the game uses D-20 rolling, so there's a lot of situations that might go poorly just due to luck alone. The one other thing I've personally frowned at is that the game is LONG. 3 hours for a gamer group who moves along at a decent pace. The game is designed to be "paused" though, but I'm not sure how easily that's done. If that doesn't bother you, this seems like it might be a decent fit for your family.
Sometimes I just start this for the beginning with Mike ;-)
I just played it for the Mike intro myself!

So many Yamcha's in this world LOL.
Cool they got Christopher Sabat for the app. Piccolo is a great narrator HEH.
That’s a incredible audio story telling element thingy

"What does sauté mean?"
Sauté is to fry something with a little oil. Like sautéed mushrooms. =)
@@skycollide5068thanks! Yeah, I know that word, just didn't recognize it from the audio, thanks again :)
Roy describes his axe as having a side of ice shard and afterwards they found out that the dragon's weakness is indeed ice. That's called strategy.
Turns out it was just for aesthetics 😂 😝

So much fun
Is that piccolo reading the story?? Lol
I'm surprised they didn't credit Christopher Sabat right on the front of the box. I think it's rad, oh well
@@BobbyJuno oh so I was right! Lol. Yea seriously that’s a big selling point for me haha
@@BobbyJuno Sticky Chris
The wizard sounds like Orpheus from Venture Brothers. I think that might be what Zee was thinking of xD
I think I have to buy this!
The Wizard sounds like the Reverend in the Wallace and Gromit - Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
OK, this looks excellent..
Quick question for you guys. Is this an easy game to learn and play? My family aren’t really gamers but I’d love to get this to play.

I wouldn't mind seeing a playthrough with spoilers of this game, similar to the pandemic legacy 1 & 2.
