I will always cry myself to sleep at night whenever I realize that the second best game I’ve ever played should’ve gotten game of the year( yes over TotK ), and I have not heard a single soul even mention it once. The game I am talking about is SANABI.

Heck yeah, Zet Zillions :D recently finished it, grew to like the characters more than I thought I would and likewise got a bit more interested in the story than I thought I would. There's a lot of fun in that universe beyond the gameplay and would have liked to seen something like a cartoon out of it. I'm glad you enjoyed it too! Once again a lot of neat games shown and shared. The art style of Dros is what made me click on the video-- looks neat and solid. Rack and Slay is one of the most unique ideas i've seen so far. Same with Tiny Breakers Camp. Look like fun ones to just pass the time with. Remnants of Naezith being a 2D speed platformer makes me think of the upcoming Clown Meat. Like the idea & mechanics of Strawhart, and the concept and looks of Sunshine Manor. Thanks for the video!

I noticed the Australian Gov labels on the Dros game and discovered the the dev studio is based from where I live. Will be picking this up to support local devs for sure (it also just looks good)

I feel bad for catching this series right at the very tail end, because I've got far, _far_ too many recommendations of my own that fit the bill. Games like: - Creepy Castle, a ZX Spectrum-styled RPG with WarioWare minigame combat - Berserker's Descent, a DMC inspired arena hack & slash roguelike that lets you build your own combos - Pangolin Cassowary, a 3D animal buddy platformer with unique travel mechanics built for precision platforming and speedrunning - Super Slime Arena, a one-hit-one-kill party fighter with multiple unique characters and support for far too many players and nearly any controller you can imagine - NeverAwake, a stylish and incredibly underrated scrolling shooter based in a child's coma dreams - Repella Fella, a very Australian choices-matter adventure game following an assortment of post-apocalyptic stragglers and bastards - Radical Rabbit Stew, a fast-paced arcade puzzler about finding the right timing and positioning to whack space rabbits into stew pots
I actually knew some of these ones! 😂 But yeah, Rekt, HellBlusser and Remnants of Naezith are all great. And I still came away wanting more new ones I hadn't heard of (Zet Zillions looks great), so, well done again.

You should totally check out Knuckle Sandwich by Andy Brophy. It's a story rich JRPG with Wario Ware inspired combat.
