Nachlaot is one of the oldest and most popular neighborhoods in Jerusalem -- and perhaps the most diverse community in Israel., From Sephardic Jews to Chassidic Jews, to totally secular Jews to gentiles, all calling it home.
Resident David Engelhart says that although Nachlaot is close to the Machaneh Yehuda outdoor market, “it's very quiet and calm. There's something almost magical about the quiet alleyways here.”
