Isn't THQ now owned by Embracer Group though? They're almost as big as Sony Would love more AA publishers to return though. Not sure they're needed more though, a lot of them would just release without a publisher nowadays

I've played most of these and love them all, but dang. No Returnal? Horizon Forbidden West? Demon's Souls? Final Fantasy XVI?? These are all PS5 exclusives (except HFW) and pretty much must play games.

I love all GOW games. It's my favorite franchise. With that said Ragnarök is not CONSISTANTLY thrilling because of the Atreus sections. All the thrill goes away while you control him.
Totally agree. Although I thought he was fun to play as for his first segment, his second segment took me around 3 hours just to progress. That’s just too long and drawn out, yikes.

How did neither Horizon game make this list? Zero Dawn is mindblowingly good, and it’s Frozen Wilds DLC is almost like a complete second game, it’s so deep and challenging. And Forbidden West and Burning Shores are arguably even better. I know some of what makes a game great is subjective, but I’d submit that these games are objectively beyond excellent.
I swear ghost of Tsushima was extremely overrated. The story was like 5 hours long with the side content really being the main focus even tho it's repetitive as hell
PlayStation needs to let go the ps4 and make real quality ps5 games now. I’m tired of playing remasters and upgrades lol I know it’s more ps4s out there than ps5s so it makes sense business wise but it’s hurting gamers expectations. Even though it’s not an exclusive look at cod mw3 it’s going to basically be the most expensive dlc ever! We are not getting new next level games yet and it suck lol
What about Elden Ring? Elden Ring is the best ps5 game you can get. Its way better then ghostwire tokyo or Legend of Zelda..or Spiderman Remastered. I mean it is action advanture rpg like the most games here..
Nah. It is not. Too frustrating to play over and over and over the same enemies. There are many people who do not like that just more casual gameplay. I understand soulslike fans love these kind of games but not all of us do😊

Can’t agree more. For most… your time spent (20-50 or 100+ hours) playing a game is so much more of a consideration than the purchase price of $60-70.

We also need more variety. Every game nowadays is a open world rpg. We also need more original IPs. Not every game needs 5 sequels.

Far too many are remakes/remastered of older games. PS5 needs more games exclusively made for it.
