@@jonathanwyman3869 Why only a decade? I haven't felt this good about the state of Michigan football since at least 2006, maybe 1997, maybe ever. This feels like the kind of momentum that can last for a long time. Harbaugh finally has a team that churns out offensive lineman, we played about 8 guys this year on the O-Iine who were somewhere between very good and all-American. We had two running backs, one who is elite and the other Heisman caliber. We have a qb reaching for NFL potential with another year of eligibility. And our defense plays better as a unit than the sum of its parts.
It's freaking beautiful to watch, I've waited a long, long, long damn time to feel this good about michigan football.

Same from me. I used to ask, "who are you bringing in that would be better than Harbaugh; in this program?" No one ever gave a good answer.
He needed to be fired. But he made 2 changes: he shook up his staff by hiring young, energetic, hungry coaches AND he remembered who he was and what brought him success

Jim never deserved to be fired. This program has progressed a lot since he been there. Michigan fans have always had outrageous expectations. This school's football team hasn't won anything major since the 1990's. Harbaugh has been the best coach this school has ever had and they wanted him gone. Congratulations Michigan Football team and staff. I wish my Virginia Tech Hokies could bring in Harbaugh 😊
Wow, you just jumped over Yost, Crisler, Bo, and Carr. He may eventually be considered as one of if not the best coach but not yet. But you are correct, he did not deserve to be fired imo.

@@perfectsense3240 I don’t think Bo (and I loved Bo) ever won a National Championship, so Lloyd Carr deserves some recognition. These are different times with the transfer portal and NIL, but Harbaugh is a darn good coach.
@@daved7808 oh I will defend Jim Harbaugh to the death, but you have to understand what Yost and Schembechler did over that long period of time. Bo won 13 big ten championships in 20 years coaching. The national title wasn’t even a big deal back in those days. Winning the Big Ten and going to the Rose Bowl was the peak.
