    Also need to make it slightly bigger as you put foam on the inside.

    I had so much fun filming my first full tutorial for you guys and I'll definitely be doing more.
    This method works every time just make sure to get your exact head measurements.

    Nice video Tina, I usually go the "ring" route where you slice a ring out of the helmet and print it at different sizes but this is a nice alternative, I'll give it a go my next helmet.

      Thank you! I also started off printing rings but wondered if there were better methods. Let me know your results 😊

    Thanks for the Head file. I already was looking for a method to put my props on for scaling.

    So cool , I started 3D printing 2 months ago to get ready for family Halloween costumes. Had to do in intensive dive into the world of 3d printing from stl file, programes, 3d printers and their settings, filament, scaling, measuring, slicers, and spray paint . This would have helped me so much. But for anyone just starting, use Prusa Slicer it works better than Blinder or Meshmixer. It works the way you think it would work, no crazy step to make cuts or anthing like that.

      Thank you! That's so cool to hear. I'll have to check out Prusa Slicer soon. Thanks for the suggestion :)

    Nice vid! Didn’t know about the head bust file. I use The Armored Garage but it’s not free. But I think it’s worth it.

    i have watched a few videos on the sizing heads, not one video shows what cura setting they use to be able to overlay the helmet onto the head. it may be a newb question but when i drag my helmet onto the head cura pushes all the files off the build plate.

    • @TinaTriesThingsWasTaken
      @TinaTriesThingsWasTaken  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's an interesting issue. I haven't run into that but you might have a setting on that snaps everything to the build plate. You should be able to put as many things on the build plate as you want as long as they fit
