Those two concerts were unbelievable... especially new years eve!!! What a great time. They really put on a great show! It was awesome seeing Bonnie (their sister), Jim (their dad), Dave Mayfield, and Jessica Lea Mayfield come out and play with em too. UNREAL is all I have to say

the night of this show i was with friends i don't have anymore. i visited a city i'd never been to before, haven't been back to since. i am in this video and i thank so many people for making this night special. for all the things i've lost, i've gained a few. but this concert meant a lot to me at the time. the road trip there, the bottle of jack daniel's before the concert, and the walk back to the hotel. then the drive home. i'm a different man now. but thank you for making this happen.
@1motherclucker Very well said and so true..it seeems to me that they enjoy their work though and probably love their "jobs" more than most of us. That being said I'm flying me & my nephew from Boston to DC in a month and hope they make their way up to Boston again soon to spread their musical wealth around..
I live in Asheville and I've just recently gotten into the Avetts. Now I'd love to go to their NYE show this year, but damn it's alot of money for one ticket, AND it's not even in Asheville. That's alright, I'll see you boys next year. :)
