Fun fact about snow; It may be cold on the surface, but it can also be really densly packed and thus, also act like a surprisingly great isolator. :) Space and drainage is very important for snow hotels though so you can keep yourself dry. Because it is the moisture from the melting water getting inside of your clothes which causes you to freeze to death, not the snow or ice in itself. :P You've also got to have something to isolate your body from the ice bedding though, typically an animal skin or pelt or several. The so called "pork sauce" is the best. The word actually translates to "fat sauce" because of the amount of fat in the pork belly. Cold-smoked pork belly is simply known as "fat" in Finnish common usage. Anyway, the sauce itself is great. It's usually served on potatoes with pickles and crispy fried pork belly on the side. It's very easy to make too.

If you ever visit finland i suggest going to lapland in the late or early winter as mid winter has so many tourists that places like Rovaniemi, joulumaa (the place where santa lives) is hard to navigate. Late winter is maybe the best time to visit finland. Not early spring tough as the snow gets wet and it's still cold.
i've never heard anyone eating a black sausage with doughnut.... Usually with lingonberry jam. Another, definitely interesting Finnish food is "Kuuma koira" which is literally "hot dog". Läski becomes bacon if you smoke it and it was cured. So its a bit like bacon, like the meat can be cured and even smoked but usually you buy it raw and slice it in a different way. I watched a video earlier that UK uses the pork back for bacon but I assume that works too if you leave the more meaty part for something else.

I'm not sure if you get your meal delivered to the changing room or not, or if you have to fetch it from upstairs yourself (It's in the basement, where there is also additional seating).
