How To Spend A Day in Mombasa
We were invited to the beautiful city of Mombasa by a tour company called Almasi Tours and Safaris and they organized a fantastic tour of the city for us. This would be the perfect way to go about spending a day in Mombasa if you're looking for what to do here.
We did the following:
1. Visited Akamba Carving Industry
2. Visited Fort Jesus
3. Explored Mombasa Old Town and the general city
4. Ate the best ice cream ever.
5. Enjoyed the best street food ever.
Thank you so much Almasi Tours And Safaris for organizing this trip for us. If you want to check them out, follow this link:

You understood the guy who talked in swahili at madafu place coz actually ur English accent is typically Kenyan,so many Singh in kenya.
thumbs up! easy warching, good music to start! not such a bjullshjit like the one, Sabbatical shared about Mombasa!!!! good job! maisha marefu
Loved the video.. please do a nightlife in Mombasa thing.. so we know what to look out for when we vacay there.. :)
Nightlife is non-existent for the time being, because of curfew at 10p.m.
Most nightlife is in Mtwapa, north of Mombasa.
Alternatively, the part of Mombasa (to the north)/called Bamburi and also the posh area called Nyali.
Take it from a European spending much time in coastal Kenya :-)
Mombasa is just amazing had my honeymoon in that city.
Really? What was that like?
@@AdventureSingh We stayed at the Sai Rock hotel. It was only a day and a half should have made it longer but I just had to see as much of Kenya as I could. It was interesting and very humid lots of friendly people. Got to see a lot of that artwork on the beach behind White Sands hotel. Services and food seemed to be less expensive than Nairobi.
@@this_is_africa sounds like so much fun. Yes prices are definitely way more affordable than Nairobi. Im not a huge fan of the humidity in Mombasa but it is a pretty vibrant city, which I very much enjoy
Me too
@@AdventureSingh too many thieves there.. dangerous police...

You guys Are one of my faves travel Vloggers in Kenya after farhana ❤️
hope to be your fave travel vlogger before Farhana soon ;) Thanks bro
Hi Singh, thanks for the beautiful upload. Could you tell a Canadian ex-pat how much money I need to have a quality life in Nairobi? Please? Thanks
I would wish to be you video picture production student.
Overall nice vlog, I liked it. But one suggestion is that when you are vlogging outside, weird(not so clear) noise is coming, so I think you have to have a good mike. :) All the best for future trips :)
getting a new mic soon! current one is dying a slow death lol
i live in mombasa
Hey watched All your Videos now i wanna know how you do drone shots with the type of police over there ... is it possible to get a license?

Mostly Mombasa old Town :-)

😂😂😂 you're Jaskaran?? I always wondered! Yea boiii! Thanks man!
Can I get the name and contact of the driver please coming to Kenya soon. Would love to have a tour guide
link in description
I can do it for free ...born and raised here ysg114@hotmail.com is my email 0705817171 ...can even show you places tour guides would never take visit like a local
Lighthouse!!!!!... is that still a thing???
Are you Kenyan?
Yup! .. What gave it away? Lol!
Well tourists usually don't know how it's a thing for us Mombasa people...and even if they know about the place they call it Mama Ngina drive.....and yes it's still a thing ..best place to take your girl on the weekend if you don't have lots of money ...and it's a good place to chew your mugoks or miraa and kick it with your boys as you watch ships pass by on their way to the harbour lol
@@younusguleid6536 I used to live in mombasa.. back in the day when on sundays you would just drive around in a circle for ages.. lol!.. that was socializing.. flash your lights.. adjust your rear view mirrors.. that was called flirting!.. and the mogo chips with chilies and madafu.. (that was MY incentive)
Glad to know it's still a thing.. ^^
Where’s the mutton briyani hotel pls?
Hey! Forodhani. In Msa old town, next to fort jesus
@@AdventureSingh Thanks !

Nice boy but welcome Tanzania
They'll be a space elevator there one day.
I feel so sad about the pollution and rubbish collection issue in mombasa. But also feel powerless as to what to concretely do about it.
hopefully they'll sort it out one day :(
at this moment, I would say Mombasa has greatly improved not like the years before 2018 where there was garbage in every corner of the city, the Kibarani dumpsite has been transformed into a recreational park, now the big responsibility lies on us residents of Mombasa, we need to be responsible of our garbage, if we do not litter the streets and estates, we get to live in a beautiful city.
The need a TUNNEL NOT A FERRY.
Dude Mondays are not a rest day here in Mombasa
I figured. I was given wrong info 🤦🏻♂️
It’s muhogo not mogo
Wrong Arabs carried out slavery in the coastal region of Mombasa and Tanzania well at least that’s the history we were taught and yes.arabs started slavery trade then the Europeans came history must be told right
