You might get this a lot, but you have no idea how happier and calmer I feel after I watch your videos. Sometimes life gets at me and nothing helps it quite as much as your videos, I’ve noticed. Not a book, not a podcast… nothing was making my brain switch off for a few minutes. So thank you Josie, for the videos, for the informations you share with us, lovely places, your dogs your house. You’re such a beautiful human being! Keep up the good work ❤
My first order with Mrs Alice never arrived! Beautiful website but I lost confidence in ordering which is a shame. Lovely vlog, really refreshing and calming. My favourite vlogs is you at home pottering in your garden. 🥰
You need wide tubs with sturdy lids that you can slide under your counter for bagged soil. I empty the bag of soil in the bin, place rubber bands around the empty bag, and place the empty bag inside the bin on top so I always can look at it later, if needed. The tight lid will prevent bugs, excess humidity, and other unwanted visitors. I LOVE your seed bin!
Josie I really enjoy your blogs, because live life to the fullest and it shows in everything you do,you inspired me ,to just get out and do,to be thankful and see the beauty in life.
Josie's 'I didn't do much' is still 100% more than what I've ever done after a long overseas trip. I think I sit on the couch and recover from the trip for a day or two.
I love the way you and Charlie have evolved into your countryside lifestyle. You're wholesome and refreshing . I love the Oatly oatmik also. You both are so healthy and vibrant. I promise this product is not going to harm you. I agree with you about the book. Food is not medicine! Keep up doing your lifestyle your way. You really do inspire me!
In that extra space you do not know what room is besides the staircase, you probably have a bigger Priest Hole. Probably a whole room. Houses that hid Priests rarely had only one hiding place. And they offen had a bigger room for if the Priest had to hide for days. Check it out, that would be fascinating.
I love this time of year🌷🌻... It's quite simple actually... You love the earth and the earth will love you back and provide for you.. I look forward to seeing all of your tips and tricks for a beautiful garden... Love you all and sending much love from across the pond in South Carolina USA ❤❤
Good for Charlie -with so many bins a schedule is needed, especialy when they're on different days and weeks. Our local Council used to send us out a schedule - we have 4 different bins collected fortnightly or monthly - but you can sign up for email reminders which I find most useful as the email arrives the day before the bin is due to be collected.
And you believe everything on social media is real. She shows to the world she smiled therefore she is happy without any suffering..you are in a fantasy world honey.
Another lovely vlog. It lifts my spirits to see you already getting ready to garden for spring/summer 2024!! As for your nature vs nurture dog question - I think all dogs are born with a loving nature and if they are blessed to belong to a sweet, kind, and loving owner then the dog will give back nothing but sweetness and love. I adopted my little pup when he was 18 months old so I don't know what his babyhood was like but his original owners dumped him when he was just a year and a half old, I can't imagine why because he is perfect - every day since I found him I've tried to make up for those early months - he has returned my love many times over and he will be 7 yrs old on Valentines Day! Hello from South Carolina!
Yay! A new vlog! Welcome home! Love watching your visits to Bamford and your gorgeous garden and hot house. Tip if you are worried about spiders (we get those and snakes in summer here in Oz), wear your garden gloves, best anyway when dealing with composts and fertilizers etc.and protect your beautiful hands and nails. Thank you for doing yet again a gorgeous vlog. Your fur babies just adore you both xx
I planted narcissus outside in a terracotta pot before Christmas and they were blooming on Christmas Day and are now green!!! I was shocked so good old England gave me white narcissus in my garden as a lovely present and the smell is amazing. I am now thinking of where to put my snowdrops and primroses which I collect and try in different areas.
Josie, thank you for face routine, even though I’m 70 yrs young, still take advice from younger generations.never stop improving 💖🙏🏽🤠🇨🇱 Dalia from south Texas
At a our local pub they do crumbed chicken with Mac and cheese on top so yum . I have 28 nut crackers . I have bought one every year that my husband and I have been married . I just adore them
Got my Barbour Beadnell for Christmas and it arrived two weeks ago...!! Dog & garden time, she's destined...!! It's a true bucket list item, I'm so delighted with it, and didn't expect the hood to have a wire in it, which was a totally amazing surprise... thanks for all the reminders of the 'corduroy collar' and all - it helped me decide which one to buy.
I love your new intro!!❤ Second, yes our animals do take on our personalities.😁 And third, and most important, My fav grilled cheese combos are 1) cheese and bacon on rosemary bread OR 2)cheese on raisin bread. YUM!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Really nice to see that putting together a schedule for bin collection is considered geeky cute in the UK, in Germany there are official kalendar handouts for each area for the following year and we love them :)
Dexter and Dickens must have been so excited to have their mom and dad home. My girls would be so excited when I returned from a trip that I would worry their tails would get hurt from all of the wagging and wiggles. Mysti would have tears, not sure if your doxies do that as well. We lost Mysti December 30th our last Doxie as we lost her daughter Tootsie a year and two days before. 😢 So glad you are back. Your honeymoon was a magical paradise. ❤
Thank you Josie for hints of spring in your vlog. It's been a long, cold winter. What a wide variety of topics you covered. Also, I like the beginning of the vlog where you showed us the what we could look forward to in this one. Nice touch.
For everyone I’ve unfollowed/un subscribed..the people I see as fake..I won’t name…I just love your videos! As a quote close subscriber (leamington spa) I just love your videos!
Josie I grow micro greens and herbs hydroponic in my kitchen . I use a ton of both. I grow some in quart canning jars with a mesh lid. The grow better on an angle, you can buy wrought iron holders. I buy a cheaper loave pan and tip the jars in there. I have friends who grow cherry tomatoes also. I would have put the meat and chutney inside the sandwich.
Enjoyed seeing you in paradise with your hubby/bff,seeing you at home in the garden;is like the very first day of spring, what a blessing it truly is,to have you back!!I keeping my fingers crossed, that you'll have some of the frost this year;like you had last year...I'm hoping it's not too late;the scenery was epic!!❄❄❄💓💓💓💓💓
Can I just say that Charlie has good taste as I love the items he purchased. Looking forward to seeing the growth of your seeds in the greenhouse. Cheese sandwich looks delicious. ❤
Welcome home Honeymooners! So sweet of Charlie to create a bin schedule however if you go on the Council website there's one you can download. Isn't it wonderful to see the first brave spring flowers emerging. Never to early to start planning for the local horticultural show! Maybe a venue to add to your Cotswold guide.. a Pig hotel and pub are due to open this Summer in Stratford and another in the village of Barnsley near Cirencester, more gorgeous venues and gardens🥰
100% agree with the gradual eco choices! It’s all about learning and adjusting as you go, certainly little changes we could all do would make such a difference 🖤
Josie isn't the area where you were looking at the outside of the house and asking "what is this bit there?" the garden bedroom? Because the window view looks out over the side towards the greenhouse, no?
I just noticed ur beautiful ring 💍 I almost got a the same pear shaped yellow diamond but decided fancy yellow diamond cut instead. I do really love the pear shape, it’s gorgeous!
I planted catnip into a raised pot, and it escaped! Literally jumped half a meter down and started spreading in the caulking of my patio, I can't understand how that happened. And this happened in Finland where only a few species is able to "go wild".
If you have a blueprint or schematic of the house, you can see what that additional space is for, or you could consult a handyman. I'm curious too now!
Josie,i’m So Happy you came back, i’ve missed you .. You are becoming more and more expert in gardening, I have learned something from you again today (on the other hand, I understand you so much, about spiders ..😬). I loved this video, thank you so much Josie 🙏✨💖🌺🥰😘
I personally aspire to be a bougie, country, dog mom, healthy, happy woman like you Josie. In few years, I hope I’m eating macarons with my coffee while reading gardening magazine 😂❤
Omg I am going to do that.....I go into council page take pictures of every month then have to look up every week for which bin due to be emptied. Obviously council tax does not cover a calendar. THANKYOU CHARLIE.
Josie - if you do want to avoid seed oils in your oat milk… Plenish have recently launched a Barista version of their oat milk and the thickener is coconut oil! Admittedly it doesn’t go quite as frothy as the Oatly version but it’s not bad!
Welcome home! I absolutely love your yard, garden & greenhouse 💚💚💚 Your home of course, is amazing and fantastic. Thank you for sharing so many interesting tips on gardening and everything you do. Happy Honeymoon & New Year to you and Charlie ❤️🕊🌹🙏🥂
I've had 3 Dachshunds over the last 10.5 years and they all have very different personalities. The Black and Tan smooth hair (the oldest) is the smartest. The Chocolate and Tan was the goofiest and only liked us. And, the English Shaded Cream thinks he's a Golden Retriever!
Such a pleasure to watch you Josie. I recently bought two books that may interest you too (or not) I’ve not read them yet but they are called ‘How Not to Age’ & ‘How Not to Die’ by Michael Greger MD I’d heard good things about them. Currently I’m reading ‘Spoon Fed’ by Tim Spector that you recommended, thank you 💚
I have always been interested in nutrition from the age of 10 or younger as my mother researched it and I will look at Dr Peter Attia's book. Independence to an old age is important ie cooking for yourself, shopping and gardening and housework all helps to keep the mind and body active and dancing and socialising. Having interests. It is a fascinating subject.
May I introduce you to Antipodes Range. Now my skin is peachy again and has that youthful glow! Their eye creams have reduced puffiness and soothed my eyes and the Cleanser is great with the Vitamin C brightening my skin. X I also use Kora Organics Seaweed for 10 mins before my skincare routine. Try it Josie! I wanted to let you know about it all. Xxx ❤
Currently listening to Outlive by Peter Attia. I rec the audio. Helps make it through the science jargon. It’s included with Spotify Premium in the US. Thanks for the rec! Really motivating to step it up a notch. I’m loving the health and wellness information in your videos. ❤
I recently swapped from the Oatly Barista to Plenish Cashew Milk. The taste is the same, it's very mild, but I was surprised at how well it frothed as it doesn't have any oils in it at all. I would say the froth was exactly the same. I am completely converted to Plenish now :)
I've not read Food isnt Medicine, but I totally get the "you are not a mouse" bit! Squirrels can eat mushrooms that would kill us with no harmful effects, and for dogs, onions, chocolate and grapes are poison. So just because mice react in a specific way, doesnt mean we will, although you'd think that a species chosen for this kind of testing would be similar to humans in terms of what foods they can generally tolerate.
Would you be able to do a section in one of your future vlogs on all the books you would recommend that you’ve read recently? Would be super helpful! Especially for those of us that are rather interested in learning more about nutrition 🥰🌿✨

Josie there is a tiny yellow snail on the side of your fancy edge pot that you planted the peas in! So cute!
I love the way you and Charlie have evolved into your countryside lifestyle. You're wholesome and refreshing . I love the Oatly oatmik also. You both are so healthy and vibrant. Beautiful seasonal choices for fall and Christmas. Smart move to buy them on sale ✨Way to go Charlie 🤗
Your smile is a ray of sunshine, I hope you're always smiling. Glad your honeymoon went well and welcome home ❤
And you believe everything on social media is real. She shows to the world she smiled therefore she is happy without any suffering..you are in a fantasy world honey.
Put mint cuttings in a glass of water for a couple of weeks and they will grow mints , it’s very easy and grows well

Hi Josie
I am using Wild Deodorant now and love the choice of scents they offer, thank you for finding out about this.
My fav videos you at home doing bits and pcs..

My mom is in her 70’s and has the best skin. She’s used the same products since I was a little kid. I’d listen to a 70 year old any day.
Welcome back home, I know your pups missed you. Blessings to you both!

Thank you for sharing how to do microgreens. I have a kit from Amazon and watching you do it gives me the confidence to go ahead and plant them. 🎉❤
Josie, I just love spending time with you in your greenhouse. It is like a magical glass fairyland which fills the soul ❤
Your background music selections for your videos are perfection!😊

The side window is on the floor above!
I love that you and Charlie champion recycling like the bin chart and such ❤️
❤😊 catching up watching your excellent content of vlogs.

Macaroon’s yummy.. pistachio my absolute fav, then lavender and rose water💕
Hi Josie, 👋
Welcome back.
Did you know that you can boil weeds and use the water as fertiliser? An Italian nonna told me.
Hello my lovely Josie, welcome back!💕
Hi! loving the shiny Nutcrackers!!🫶
Loved learning about the mircogreens 😊
I have always been interested in nutrition from the age of 10 or younger as my mother researched it and I will look at Dr Peter Attia's book. Thank you for the quick review of Food isn’t Medicine. I’ve been quite curious about it but suspected it might be everything you described 😊
May I introduce you to Antipodes Range. Now my skin is peachy again and has that youthful glow! I make those cheese toasties in the airfryer they are brilliant 🥰

You should get some root powder. Can’t do any harm to help establish your Mint etc and it’s widely available
Royal Mail on Sunday!! The same I said😂😂😂
I save bubble wrap to cover plants and pots…..in winter
Would you be able to do a section in one of your future vlogs on all the books you would recommend that you’ve read recently? Would be super helpful! Especially for those of us that are rather interested in learning more about nutrition 🥰🌿✨
Also so glad you got the eco brushes! I swear by them 🌿
I did a chat in a vlog just before we went on honeymoon 🥰
New to your blog enjoying them very much, thank you x
