Not correct. Diabetes has nothing to do with corona, as this virus gets dangerous if it infects the loungs. Diabetes is a pancreatic disorder. Those two organs are not linked. He's hyper glycemic and needs insulin to hold his blood sugar levels down. If anything a flu will do him well if he can't over consume unhealthy food and alcohol. However he needs to check his glucose levels continually when he has any type of infection, which I'm sure he's well aware of. Japan could have rejected the entry of the ship like they did for other foreign cruise vessels, but they accepted it and did everything they could at that moment. San Francisco is now facing the same challenges (Grand Princess). I hope the crisis in California will finish soon enough, with a small number of victims.

No it's NOT that deadly as we see in the numbers (less than 3% according to statistics). They should let passengers go outside and take FRESH air. The ship is big enough and they should not be locked as prisoners with one coffee and 3 meals in their cabin. Is THIS what they paid for? It's the company's fault that they didn't take any measures so no passengers would move in and out at the port. Now the passengers will pay the price.

If you want to call going out into a fenced in yard while people watch you with rifles as going outside I guess that’s technically true. Also in prison they get the chance to be raped, beaten, and sleep while bubba takes a massive dump 3 feet away.😂 Prison also doesn’t usually include room service, unlimited TV and internet access. In all seriousness this is a bad situation but it’s completely different than actual prison. As the weeks go by the prison may become more preferable.
They are 80 years old , they lived their life, have children , grandchildren accomplished anything and probably travelled a lot also , what can they be afraid of.
I used to go on a cruise 20 years ago. We all had our seats in the formal dining room, there were 9 meals a day so you had something to eat when you were , but we only had a fancy midnight buffet. Nowadays most passengers eat at all you can eat junk food buffets, and get bigger and bigger. Even though workers provide hand sanitizers before customers enter dinning room, there still had several cases of passengers got infected with contaminated foods. So no matter how big and magnificent the ship looks, how low the prices drop, I won’t go on a cruise again.
you wear mask to protect others from your germs, they wont help you if someone sneezes on you, only chances is to wear full hazmat suit and even then you cant be 100% sure.

The virus isn't airborne, it's droplets. The virus also doesn't live forever just sitting around at ambient temp...it dies after 5hrs from memory

@Cabbage Farmer The only thing more disturbing than the footage of the hospital (prison) is the reports coming out of China about the 7 crematoriums in Wuhan burning bodies 24/7...or maybe it's the new finding that there's a 6 amino acid long portion of this RNA virus that's been identified as HIV.
And the whole time our local news, U.S.federal government, Chinese government, and W.H.O. are saying that everything's fine.
The media can say whatever they want to at this point. I'm going to hope for the best and plan for the worst.

No it's NOT that deadly as we see in the numbers (less than 3% according to statistics). They should let passengers go outside and take FRESH air. The ship is big enough and they should not be locked as prisoners with one coffee and 3 meals in their cabin. Is THIS what they paid for?
It's the company's fault that they didn't take any measures so no passengers would move in and out at the port. Now the passengers will pay the price.

Prison, its not about the room size, , its about liberty,, they can not go out, or drink what they want or eat that the want.

Agreed. We do what we can and we do it however we must. Sometimes life hands us a loaded deck... We can go with the flow or we can quit. For me, quitting is not a even an option unless I can do nothing but... This guy and his wife have the right idea. Make the best of it. Remember what is good... Love someone... Turanga Leela Not if a deadly virus is spreading in the prison. If you want to call going out into a fenced in yard while people watch you with rifles as going outside I guess that’s technically true.
Also in prison they get the chance to be raped, beaten, and sleep while bubba takes a massive dump 3 feet away.😂 Prison also doesn’t usually include room service, unlimited TV and internet access.
In all seriousness this is a bad situation but it’s completely different than actual prison. As the weeks go by the prison may become more preferable.

They are 80 years old , they lived their life, have children , grandchildren accomplished anything and probably travelled a lot also , what can they be afraid of.

I used to go on a cruise 20 years ago. We all had our seats in the formal dining room, there were 9 meals a day so you had something to eat when you were , but we only had a fancy midnight buffet. Nowadays most passengers eat at all you can eat junk food buffets, and get bigger and bigger. Even though workers provide hand sanitizers before customers enter dinning room, there still had several cases of passengers got infected with contaminated foods. So no matter how big and magnificent the ship looks, how low the prices drop, I won’t go on a cruise again.
How are you getting “fresh” air? Quarantine CANNOT happen if the whole ship is on the same HVAC system. You should be wearing a mask. Good luck. 😷

They are just quarantining them from 'us'
you wear mask to protect others from your germs, they wont help you if someone sneezes on you, only chances is to wear full hazmat suit and even then you cant be 100% sure.
I've been on that exact ship, Princess service is amazing. They will be very well looked after!
And this is why I will not go on a cruise...
It has to be this way to keep the public safe
