What if Mineta was gay but had super homophobic parents so he tried to act straight and overdid it, but once he realized he overdid it it was to late to change without everyone thinking he was acting strange so he continued to act like a pervert to not make anyone suspicious of him while he really just wants a boyfriend.
Just something I thought was interesting to think about.
