Gorgeous integrated amp. Just wow. I’ve not seen anyone else in audio think outside of the box as much you guys do. That’s a good thing as the design of this amp is stunning. Congrats on 15!
Yeah I agree , Hey Steve I know your like me already visually placing the integrated in our Listening Room 😃 I Do love the Golden lion Kt88 Tube/Valves 🔥 up Top 'though' until settle in and once they settle Ohh Geez
Day one. OMA creations push me to even want to even understand electricity in order to fully apreciate sound whenever I have the pleasure of listening to one of their systems. Marvelled on all of what this guys are doing. Thanks for sharing the insights! Following from México.
I absolutely love the aesthetic of all OMA products. Whilst I cannot afford the price of entry, I am very happy to appreciate the beauty and engineering that goes into these products, looking through the shop window . Thank you for sharing these insights with us 👍
Again, Wow! The design of the Special K is simply wonderful, very refreshing actually, and visually stunning! Loved your comments on the current state of high end amplifier design, with their "fire hose" sized cables, spot on!! Love OMAs work/designs, thank you for that and your videos showing us what we might not otherwise get a chance to see.
Beautiful amp, and I am in love with those speakers with the Big horns on top ! Would love that with your Technics turntable ! Wow ! Well I can dream. Great Work !
Yet again, REAL innovation from OMA, not the secondhand car salesman innovation we see from other audio companies and you make it achingly beautiful! No ugly portable fridge sized cubes sitting on the floor, cables that are sensible, no ugly as you say, fire hose things littering the room and then simply gorgeous speakers that soothe the senses musically and aesthetically. So much depth of thought and passion is evident, your approach so incredibly refreshing. I so appreciate in what can be a very ugly world that there are people and companies such as you and your company that puts thoughtfulness, function and beauty all together to create a sanctuary of harmony in a world full of discord, thank you Jonathan!
I have no words to describe this one…basically wiping the drool off my floor! If I were to purchase an AC-1 or Special K, I would request Jonathan to come out to install it ;-). Btw, that Deville SQ in the background is beautiful. Congrats on this beautiful piece. The concept and ability to take it to design and deliver is of the highest achievement.
Absolutely amazing design and construction! A tube amp like no other. I want one! For those who may not be able to afford it, or who doesn´t need 50W, how about a lower powered version with the same type of vertical design? EL84´s? Single ended something else, EL34?
Nice that you referenced Ferrari. I don’t buy audio equipment to be put into cabinets or closets. This design is really pretty. I own both Ferrari and Aston Martin and the look and sound are 90% of the decision making.
Ha! Starting from a time a stone replaced a tube in movie theaters, people became crazy. And now as switches replace stones, they become crazy + stupid. A gorgeous amplifier, by the way, Sir. I'd like to have one someday.
Big ups!! A short demo would've been nice!? & how much to wire the funds!? (How high for the sake of artistic achievement!) Wonder the cost for the "entry" level components? Bravo mate!
Hi Jonathan, I wonder how you feel about OTL/OCL design tube amplifiers. Such amplifiers were used in the past and stand for a very short circuit. In my eyes if well build and properly used they stand for a remarkable sound which I have just heard occasionally.
Hi Guus, our experience with amplifier topologies has always been in favor of single ended (SET) and push pull triode designs. I have never heard an OTL or OCL amplifier connected with our speakers which sounded as good as either.
Awsome Job , keep pushing the Audio design , I however still apriciate what Boulder big amps can do , if you really have need for hat much power. VAC IQ s are similar vertical design, congrats
Congrats on your 15th OMA anniversary, Jonathan, and a beautiful new integrated amp, the Special K. This may seem a blasphemous question let alone suggestion, but have you ever considered configuring your speakers actively? I'm not thinking in the vein of typical active speakers with built-in amps, DSP/electronic cross-over and possibly even DAC's, but where you would use your existing or newly developed tube amp array (maybe in conjunction with solid state amps for the woofers) in multiples to drive their respective driver section with a dedicated electronic or digital cross-over preceding the amplifier section (active config. is defined by the filtration being done prior to amplification on signal level, as I'm sure you know; not necessarily that it's a bundled package that we usually see). This way on the exterior everything may look like it normally does, however with the added electronic or digital cross-over and the passive XO's inside the speakers gone.
We have seen now your new amp in this vertical design. What is the point? We have all our hobby in music. What means the sound is the issue, I am since 4 years intensively in this hobby. No matter how the equipment looks. It is the sound what matters, the looks of gear might distract us from the hearing.
Probably one of the most beautiful tube amplifiers I’ve seen. Great job on the build. I just went to your web site but couldn’t find how to purchase or where to purchase or price? Also I loved this video and your no bullshit talk. Firehose size cables. 😂😂😂 Huge big boxes that sit in the floor on little stands with little legs. You don’t hold any punches and I love it. I’d really love to sit down with you, listen to some tunes and shoot the Shitt. 👍
Don’t you think the years of development would have brought solutions to this problem, one of the solutions is that these tubes are running at very low power which means low heat!
I can't keep but thinking simple electronics. This company produces Electronics that are out dated and over priced. I am sure I am going to be attacked for saying this, but it's true! Plenty of nostalgia here, but clearly an anachronism.

Thanks so much, Steve!!
Super original!
I'm glad OMA has a big enough following to support their company.
What do you buy the guy who has everything?
Day one. OMA creations push me to even want to even understand electricity in order to fully apreciate sound whenever I have the pleasure of listening to one of their systems. Marvelled on all of what this guys are doing. Thanks for sharing the insights! Following from México.
Special K, K3 Turntable with stand and the Museum speakers are three of the nicest components I have ever seen

Thank you!
@@oswaldsmillaudio My pleasure👍
I had good belly laugh
When you mentioned todays Amplifiers and cabling you are spot on.
Keep up your passion for style and uniqueness..

To get a complete OMA system is a dream to be hold! ❤
Art and Function....Brilliant!... and beautiful!
Absolutely stunning!!!
no one is thinking like this anymore and I love it
It’s beautiful, it looks like a VAC audio integrated amplifier
Yet again, REAL innovation from OMA, not the secondhand car salesman innovation we see from other audio companies and you make it achingly beautiful!

I concur! Well said!
OMA GOD! Very nice. Hope they make a "Goldilocks" amp someday that I can afford...
Absolutely Stunning!!! ❤

Way above my pay grade but stunning piece of audio engineering
Sir...
what an excellence...
🙏from India🇮🇳
MmMmMmmm If it sounds half as good as it looks it must be the best sounding amp ever.

Beautiful. Is it difficult to keep dust from coating the interior around the tubes?
Beautifull. I would love to see a same video on the K3 turntable.
Would love to here a sound demo
Nice that you referenced Ferrari. I don’t buy audio equipment to be put into cabinets or closets. This design is really pretty. I own both Ferrari and Aston Martin and the look and sound are 90% of the decision making.
Awesome! When I saw it, I immediately thought about the early WE amps.
Looks like a coffee machine. Nice looking.
I see you like the Gold Lions. They really are top drawer
If I ever win Powerball I’m buying one of these amps 👍
Good morning Jonathan, It is beautiful. Looks like a very well thought out design. I see another winner. Again OMA is way ahead of the others.
Ha! Starting from a time a stone replaced a tube in movie theaters, people became crazy. And now as switches replace stones, they become crazy + stupid.

Achingly beautiful. One day, some day.
I like the philosophy of your products!

31 trillion in debt and government funded centers are buying highend tube amps to play music🤌🏼. Tf
