This was a total surprise though. You should react to every League of Legends Songs. They have a lore in them, good animation and you will love it and enjoy it as well.
It’s only the season trailers that are the songs that actually deal with cannon lore, Awaken and the call to name a few
If you think that looked good, wait till you see "The Call". I swear, characters in that cinematic look more real than people in real life 😅
I think they went all over just to animate Pantheon's hand. Holy s***! That hand alone looks so fricking real! I've seen animators calling that one frame a flex, because it is! Hands are one of the most difficult things to draw and animate. And they did it more than perfectly.

THe one thing to note is that Riot did a literal Lore reset in September 2014 ...
Before the game which is a 5v5 MOBA was part of the story and the cinematics were basically just animated game Matches of a group 5 characters vs a group of 5 others
after starting with the Stained Glass Shurima cinematics they became more narrative and story oriented ...

Guys.....I started playing League of Legends in 2013. Late to the game, but far back enough to remember the OLD stuff.
I stopped playing in 2020 due to realizing that my laptop was ruining all of my games, despite my growth as a player. Whatever.
I LOVED this game. I was devoted. Once Jinx came out, I got her day one....and played only Jinx. And I mean ONLY JINX, regardless of role. Yeah, i was ignorant of how to play, and a total asshat. Eventually, I had learned all that one should know to actually play. Different characters, based on role or position. Took up Jungling, mastering Warwick, Kindred, and finally, turning into an Evelynn main for a couple of years.
I hope to start playing again soon, as i got a decent laptop recently.
I had tears in my eyes, seeing Sivir, one of my first characters, open her eyes.
I am damn gmad ya'll are jioning the fandom proper. Arcane did wonders for introducing folks to this amazing world.
And now you know why the core in Arcane gave the old professor traumatic flashbacks.

story setting:
Thousands of years ago, there was a kingdom called Camavor which was ruled by a young king named Viego. Viego fell in love with a seamstress called Isolde who he cherished, to the point of letting his kingly duties fall by the wayside. An assassination was attempted on Viego, but instead killed Isolde. Distraught, Viego would search far and wide for a way to bring back his wife eventually learning of tales of powerful healing magic in a place called the Blessed Isles. He led his armies to conquer the Blessed Isles, but when he placed the body of his wife in its sacred healing waters he accidently unleased The Ruination - forever corrupting himself and all of the Blessed Isles. The Blessed Isles were destroyed and turned into the Shadow Isles, a place of undead taint and despair, from which a Black Mist is occasionally released which sweeps across the ocean taking anyone caught up in it. The nearby pirate haven of Bilgewater is often a target of the Black Mist, though its reach is normally confined to the waters local to the Shadow Isles. A secret order of warriors, known as the Sentinels of Light, were established over the years in order to fight back against the Black Mist and its undead taint. Lucian's father was one such member, with Lucian eventually taking up in his father's footsteps. That's where he met Senna, another Sentinel, and they fell in love and eventually married. However, in their adventures, Lucian and Senna came across a powerful servant of the Shadow Isles called Thresh who capture Senna and imprisoned her soul in his Soul Lantern.
But now, as Lucian searches for a way to rescue Senna from the clutches of Thresh, the Ruined King Viego himself has awoken from an undead slumber. Still grieving over the death of his own wife, Viego unleashes the full fury of the Black Mist to sweep across the entire world as he searches for remnants of Isolde's soul. A new team of Sentinels must be established to fight off the threat of the Ruined King.

cant w8 for reactions to Warriors, The call. You need to react to tales of runeterra tho, its still league of legends but dive more into a lore of the world. Personally i would love to see reactions for champions trailers, for example fiddlestick (the scarecrow guy from one of the first cinematics. He had rework and hes hella scarry now). You guys should react to everyting from league universe, League songs and cinematics, but legends of runeterra as well, its just a card game about league, telling story of same universum, just like wild rift, mobile versions of league of legends

Sorry Neel, but there's almost no difference between the 2nd trailer and the last ones you watched. The style changed a bit in the newer ones, but the level of details is pretty much the same.
There's nothing wrong/weird with that, progress doesn't go linearly, also the trailers from like 9 years ago, had insane graphics/animations at the time.
Nowadays their current animation level isn't as insane, but still very good (especially that there's no companies that create similar animations).
