🤗 Thank you for putting Kingdom on TH-cam! When I couldn't find any episodes after the first two, I was afraid there wouldn't be any more. In a day and age where really good story-lines are hard to find, only British dramas, dramedies, and comedies are any good, and I'm one who appreciates a good classical plot structure, and doubly so when the actors are this talented. Keep Kingdom episodes coming as fast as possible. I saw this series years ago and binge-watched it then (don't remember where I saw it; perhaps Hulu before they became a fee-based service only and I can't afford that). I'd like to do the same now. Stephen Fry and the rest of the ensemble cast are fantastically talented actors so they are a joy to watch. Thanks, again! 🤗
I saw the series a few years ago and was so sad when Steven had to pull out due to cancer. What a relief it was to hear he’d recovered. I do wish, though, that we had more episodes to enjoy. Soul-touching musical theme as well. 💕🎶😊🎶
He didn't pull out due to cancer. This was before his cancer. Money ran out and no more commission. It is very sad indeed. I've always find it a shame for this unfinished story
@@ym10up the best show I have seen in years. Granted, I know nothing about production costs, but I would like to think a lifetime of replay could possibly be worth an absolute fortune. This program, I will return to watch fo many years. I am a Yank, who will most definitely refer this show to others. Maybe this most wonderful program will be picked up by another more enlightened (financially secure) production (?) company. I absolutely love Kingdom. Somebody bring it back! The world, humanity, needs more media such as this.
If the boat owner was paying a double premium because he had a conviction then there was no reason for rejecting the claim, on the basis that he had a declared conviction. It was a known risk!
The insurers took his premiums for cover - if they thought he was a bad risk because of previous experience they would have denied him a policy straight away. It's called good faith and smart underwriting. They even charged him double and he was prepared to pay it. Accepting premium means they accept the risk and cannot decline to pay after the fact based on a previous act because they should have declined to take the second risk in the first place. This is obvious if you know insurance.
And yet, insurance companies. I was sued by a neighbor who claimed personal injury. My homeowner's insurance is supposed to cover me if I am sued by someone claiming personal injury. (The claim of injury is fraudulent, but they're supposed to cover me in that instance too.) The insurance company not only denied the claim, they sued me. Come to find out, the insurance company (I'm looking at you, Cambridge Insurance, division of Andover Companies) has been colluding with the person claiming injury. Yup, for the past year and a half, when the insurance company was supposed to be defending me against this guy, they've been in bed with him, acting against their own policy holder. So. Insurance companies can and will do anything,
@@janetwayman9459 Hi Janet. Bottom line, IMO, if you have supporting evidence of all this then make it public (newpapers, social media etc) and get legal advice to counter sue. Your insurer needs to advise you, in writing, why they are declining to pay based on your policy conditions and also why they are sueing you - which sounds absurd. I hope things get better for you.
Great show thank you for posting. Love the old car (Alvis, made in Coventry) the Psycho Sister is bothering my sensibilities though. Hope she finds help and stops dragging the show down.
The absolute joy of British productions is that any and all plot structures can be combined, and they are masters at it (this is the land of Shakespeare, Marlowe, et alia, after all). I have seen the Kingdom series labeled as "dramedy," which is the closest anyone can come to pigeonholing the "tone" of the series. It is by turns serious, funny, sad, tragic, compassionate, sweet, satirical (something at which Stephen Fry is very good), and difficult (rather like real life). It is backed up by great editing with musical scores to add to the joy of watching the series. If the entire three seasons are put online, by the time you get to the last episode you will both laugh hysterically and cry buckets in empathy..., and howl in consternation that there were not more seasons!
Moltes gràcies! Thanks so much and thanks for the subtitles!

A series for adults plus you learn a lot about the law...with humour. Stephen Fry is always worth watching!
I'm truly enjoying this! Looking forward to the next episode, thank you!
Lovely..just lovely🎈
I have always loved Kingdom ❤ I just wished they hadn't left on a cliffhanger!
Back again to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Sparkling New Year 💥
That cheer was epic.
Sorry to hear that there aren’t any more episodes; I was thoroughly enjoying it.
British television is sooooo much better then the junk here in the USA. Thank you so much for the upload. 2 episodes and I'm hooked:)
Yes yes
I totally agree!
BTW, I am a Native Californian.
Our T.V. is "shite"!
@@elleryeggen9678 That's not the only thing in California that is shite.....

Beaatrix found the perfect job. All the attention she could want, plus she stays out of everyone else's way. It's a win-win.

I stumbled upon this. Now I'm watching it to the exclusion of EVERYTHING in my life. 😆😆😆
when the man fell over in the art class I replayed it to laugh all over again LOL
This. is such a great series. Thank you.
This is one of the very best series on tv. Why oh why didn’t they make more?
Really like this episode.👍TU

Great series, too bad not showing the remaining episodes!
OOOh, they looked suspiciously like chocolate Hobnobs on Kingdom's desk. Envy, envy.
What's a Hobnob?
I look forward to the next episode😆😆🌟asap🌟😆naturally. ✌️✌️
I want my own Kingdom.
Used to watch this when it was filmed in Wells/Holkham, best beach in the country

This had the ridiculousness of doc Martin
I do life drawing. Nude Models are very professional and reepected. Beatrice modeling. Are they trying to show she's odd, or a free spirit.
Is Mr. Case the guy from the Vicor of Wibley?
YES
What is Millies backstory?
How did she become a "Kingdom ".
Did I not yet see her origin tale?
Also, what's up with Mrs. Thing(?)?
Why do they do that with the SCUBA? It was funny (ish) in the 60s, hasn't been funny for 50 years.
Right? No one puts their fins on at home, never mind the rest of the kit.
I'm not sure what is the tone is. Comedy, satire, parody, drama, unintentionally funny drama?
All of those things!
