When I let someone with long hair at a chain salon (always white in my experience) do my trims they ASK me and won't even suggest a trim if my hair is fine. Whenever I go to a black salon and they always have short hair I lose ALOT my length no matter how recently they just trimmed it and I'm never asked. It occurred to me that at the black salons (in my area) I am the only black woman with longer hair and everyone else's hair is short to super short. No shade to short hair but that isn't my goal. Black salons don't understand it because they don't cater to clients with long hair or even see it themselves.

Try kenra blowout serum I love the silk elements olive oil heat protectant Paul Mitchell hot off the press and skinny serum, gloss drops is good. It really depends on the hair. I also use rusk keratin shampoo and conditioner. Seems to fight humidity

Beautiful!! Do you use a leave in conditioner? My daughter has hair like that but it was hard to blow dry it with out leave in, but her hair didn't have as much movement as your client's does...do you think a leave in is even needed before straightening?
A leave in isn't always necessary but it doesn't hurt to use it. What leave in are you using? I just always make sure I use a heat protectant. Depending on her hair, you may have to find a leave in that is very light. The leave ins that are in spray form are much lighter.
@@PaigeShaian I used the aphogee pro vitamin leave in, but then added a detangler by cream of nature because the aphogee didn't make her hair feel soft enough. Any suggestions?
Elitehaircare usa has a leave for After you wash and condition your hair very light and he’s they have three different types to fit the type of hair you have also they have frizz tamer do use after you blow dry your hair and if you’re using a flat iron that will be a heat protectant it works wonders and it only takes a little bit just put a little dab of it in your hands rub it in your hands and rub it on your hair that’s it and you can really tell the difference
