True, War Thunder never had an endgame that's the clan battles and such in World of Tanks. There have been nothing to do once you reached top tier in WT hence why the utter miserable xp gain to slow down grinding.

The game modes need an update, especially for the upper tiers. The game modes that kind of work for low tier do not work for the upper tiers. It is stale.
We need gamemodes that are actual gamemodes and not glorified team death match We also needs a monetized matchmaker with actual map selection (not map bans, actual map selection) but since that's a premium time feature good luck getting that
Being playing for 10 years also, and while I don't think the game is decaying (I don't remember a time when the game was hitting +200.000 players like now with events) they need asap to start doing something more than adding vehicles in the updates. There is plenty of them and should start focusing in changing modes, adjusting player quantity in Air RB, maps, and things like that. If they don't do this kind of stuff, for sure the game is gonna get stalled at some point not very far away.
yes more gamemodes perhaps like when they tested the new missiles recently and reduced player size for air rb. and updating the current ones like the battlemode recently.

Just gonna point out with the Premium event vehicles. They literally added top tier premiums. So thats not much of an excuse. Its money imo. Greed. thats what. They also make these events even harder, for little reward. Anyone with more of a life you literally can not grind it unless war thunder is the only game you play. And with how bad the economy is.
Even those of us with no life don't mess with events because if the immense time it takes. I did it once, for the vilkas. By the end I absolutely hated war thunder because of burnout. I'll never do an event again unless it's a stupid op German vehicle

I haven't touched the game since October... I played for 7 years and I have finally hit a breaking point. It's truly sad. I find myself launching the game and sitting in the lobby for 5 min before completely closing the application.
Yeah, I'm getting pretty close to stepping away from the game. I actually realized I may not be having as much fun as I thought, so I put together a spreadsheet when I play that tracks what nation I play, what BR, win losses, kills, and the most important section: Did I enjoy the battle (3 columns: Good, Meh, Bad). The data has been eye opening to me, but I don't want to stop until I have a sufficient data size. Right now my after match "feeling" is I marked "good" less than half of the GRB matches I play. ARB is worse, with me feeling overwhelmingly negative at 80% "bad" game feeling in ARB, which the realization has turned me off to the game mode completely.
i had a 3 year pause on the game. downloaded the game back few times during that time to check out the new prems and check out the new shit. Didnt play a single match tho. came back fall last year
Ever since I lost my 900 day log in streak I don't really care about losing stuff, since I noticed, that nobody cares about the stuff I get ingame. Ever since I had way more fun in WT.
I've been playing this game since 2013 on PC the entire time. The main issue me and so many people have with the game is for 2 key reasons. 1) The grind becomes horrendous once you hit post WW2 and onwards. Early coldwar stuff is some of the most unfun stuff in the game due to how massive the maps balloon up to and how slow\heavy your vehicles become before returning to better speeds once you hit the 60-70's. 2) The extreme lack of variety. It's the same game modes from over a decade ago and it really is downright boring. The PVE stuff is so barebones and has been neglected for a long time now. There's also needing to be new modes like that late WW2 Rush mode they did one year, or even the WW2 history one. Just something to make it fresh and not stagnant.
I just want to vibe in my spitfires, 109s and yaks but some people just won’t let me bc they think the world is ending and have to blame gaijin for it just leave me alone
I have to admit (because I am compelled to do so), having some rank V and VI premiums in events would be nice. They still can't grind top tier, but it would be far more useful for me with most of my trees.
Key to not being bothered by 80% of the things that these people are whining about: stop treating top tier like it IS warthunder. Just enjoy the lower BR vehicles and stop stressing the grind, you'll have way more fun. Higher tier is no more fun than mid tier. If anything it's less fun, because of the sweaty try hards and the toxic whiners.
Gaijin should introduce ranked system for war thunder where you play against other teams of player for higher rank. Like what world of Tanks blitz had. And for each achieved rank you get some SL, or boosters, or premium time or premium vehicles for highest ranks. I think this would actually help the game. Because most people play League of legends just to show off their rank.
I am top tier in USA, USSR, Italy, and Isreal. I only come back when they add new stuff. Get the new toys have fun with them for a little while than I go back and do something else. It took me a long time to realize Warthunder is a time and money sink that I didn't want to be a part of anymore. I still enjoy the game and enjoy it even more when I play it in such small doses.
since 2012 a warthunder player and for the last 3 days I feel like cheaters are all over 10.0 and the Grind is just near impossible!!!even today played for 2 hours at 10.0 and managed to grind 25k in ground batles with premium account and a premium tank!!it´s just painfull
I play at ww2 tier and what often happens is I shoot and penetrate a t34 57mm two times with the firefly gun and then he just slowly turns his fat ass to look at me and oneshots me. Also I’m hearing that challengers and leapords and Abraham’s are getting their asses kicked by useless high tier Russian tanks which seem to get destroyed by everything in real life
You don´t have to buy every tank or plane, i only buy the vehicles i need and enjoy. The game is designed to make you SL poor, you don´t have to cave in. I´m not a super player and i´m not broke, i hoover around 12-16 mil SL. Even after i bought the aces for nearly all hightier tanks, i had 9 mill left.
The worst thing about the battle passes is it locks air rewards behind ground challenges and vice versa, this something the snail should take a note from epic on since fortnite doesn't lock festival (Music) rewards behind the br pass and instead sells it as a smaller pass that's gamemode specific
the battlepass literally gives you a free premium, this BP its the IL8, which is an amazing vechicle, and the warbonds shop gives you 6 fun lowtier premiums depending on how much you play, the economy is now profitable, i can play a 4.7 game without premium in my italy lineup and make 60k sl without boosters averaging 5-6 kills and a cap or two, it seems like a skill issue if your constantly broke, maybe change nations or learn a good playstyle that suits you
I have been playing war thunder for years, I enjoy playing only mid-tiers, once I unlock top tier vehicles, that was that I went right back to mid-tiers, I don't want the game to become a second job for me, it's there to enjoy, enough with my job that I have, at the end games in general should be somewhere to chill, once you're done with work or what ever chore you do during the day.
as a guy with 6000hours in escape from tarkov and about 8000 hours on warthunder i can say that warthunder dosent have a problem at all with cheaters ofc there are some but its kinda rare too find a cheater in warthunder where is in tarkov you can ones you are experience enough you can sniff out a radar cheater in like 30% of all lobbies you join
It's definitely getting worse pretty steadily in WT, while not as bad as other games yet. There's a lot more unexplainable happening more and more for sure in the last few months 😢

I have played more then 11 years. Several years ago I switched to play for fun. Expecting this game to be realistic is a Dream😂 Now 3.7 is just a fun BR in ground.
I would say the rampant exploiting / cheating needs to get sorted out before anything else. It used to just be "Ah it's war thunder. Just been Gaijin'd" etc etc as random janky stuff or just a really skilled / experienced player would happen upon you, and it was once maybe twice per gaming session. Now it's blatant aimbots / wall hacks every 5 games or so... Really really sad 😢
The only point I agree with is that bots lessen the naval experience especially at high tiers. The bots on your team seem to be disruptive and ram you and should you spawn in a plane you discover the power of aimbots.

Unfortunate most players learn how good USA air tree is only when they start playing other nation and get some experience in game. I personally adore 99% of USA aircraft's, but dem random team mates with IQ of room temperature (most of the time) kill my enthusiasm after like 3-4 game. But when you are in 3-4 man squadron Dem is it good time (well most of the time 😁).

ghost bombers run ramptant, even recently 14:30 my air cream and butter is at 6.0ish props, and the amount of ghost 288s flying around is horrendous, especially in my p51 i run into them, when im in my f8f with 20mms it isnt asmuch of a problem because i kill them 1.5kms out before there gunners get in range
my personal biggest gripe about the game, which most people will say "skill issue" to, is either you dominate one game or you get waffled stomped the next. I really want to see new game modes, got into naval and its "Almost" the same as GRB unless you play naval EC which is only available thursday through mid sundayish pending timezone. i love mid to high tier, but it is just plagued with CAS. Pull an anti air and you become public enemy number one 3 bombs and 5 rockets later youre a crater with only one air kill... in my case that one is a friendly because VADs is not good... suck with that thing. As much as i hate saying it, and i really mean HATE, bring in skill based matchmaking and maybe a ground only game mode, that or make air in general hard to get. Started playing again this week bounced two rounds and had enough to spawn a plane. willing to have a friendly debate over this, not a heated argument, and unlike some players ill try to level with people and understand their point(s).
I must be in a minority here. I couldn’t give a 💩 about high tier stuff. I don’t like modern tanks, and only play WWII and as I have all the vehicles I want, I only play for fun. I play GRB and throw a new plane into my line up that I’ve not played in a while. Like the P-61A, the Whirlwind Mk.I, G.55 etc., to make it varied. People should try this as an approach. I’m a non-premium time player and recently blew 50,000,000 SL on the dragon boxes. Got a few nice premium planes, and SL just isn’t a problem. Why people go nuts for top tier is beyond me.
This fall only comes to develop, their errors are to have saturated the “main trees” with content, neglecting the other nations. No content, no possibility of being effective in the game and therefore a frustration which slowly sets in until a quick glance during major updates.
Im still here, but im slowly dying with warthunder and playing less and less and only do 3 games shoting tanks who cant get killed from my shells and i leave, to much cheating and hacks in game now and a game that is working worse than ever before (depends to much where you are in the world). My original account got hacked and stolen when i moved country. had to change email when i moved and i couldn't retrieve the account because i didnt have access to my old email. Gaijin wouldn't return my account even though i had alot of billing info and general info about the account.... gaijin doesn't care about make effort for individual players.... which is understandable as a business... but they do listen to the community witch is still 10x better then what a company like EA does.
Revert the economy change for SL and focus on winning the match to get the majority of SL. Increase Win bonus for SL/RP so people want to learn to win games. Lets say a Loss nets 20% of potential SL. People will learn quick or go broke.
This game should be handled by a more passionate company like Petroglyph(The people who made Command and Conquer Generals and Renegade back in early 2000s).
I know people complain about this game. Still enjoy it over like world of tanks. For example, sure, sometimes the game can be a bit of suffering, but it's still fun, and as recently as we've seen and hopefully it continues. Gaijin has been listening to us.
to be fail there are usually some broken smith around in every BR and "somehow" it usually happens to be the newest stuff around, so you might spade/buy it... and they are not afraid to bait people into buying stuff and the denying refunds after a blatant cashgrab.. Like the su25, that came in 9.3, despite being blatantly overpowered on test server. Then after ONLY 2 HOURS of the patch coming out, it got bumped up to 9.7.. they just so happened to "forget" notifying people about it being upBRd for the preorder period.
My only issue with WT at present is their lack of ability to control the portion of the playerbase that is cheating. Aside from that I've grown indifferent to the other issues.
Three reasons why WT is doing well: 1 They have come to their senses last year and implemented the roadmap 2. The continuous blundering of Wargaming pushed people to WT (like myself) 3. WT is a monopoly at the moment.
I never got the people that complain about how now there are more vehicles to grind? like if you wanted to just grind to Korea era vehicles and play that, just dont buy more vehicles? play WW2 and Korea?
the only problem i see in this game is the top tier. maps are not made with "Top tier" aspects in mind, rather, just a low or mid tier map made into top tier, you can already see where the problem lies with that. Adding weather effects into those maps along with every map is nice but it doesnt solve the core problem.

Top tier sucks. And it sucks that it sucks. I rarely venture past 6.0-8.0, and when I do go to 11.0 or higher I'm reminded why top tier sucks so much. But it's still mostly fun in low and mid tier.
I've been trying to play for about a year now. I'm only lvl 37 because I can't stand people in the game.I try to play every day. But I only succeed in 2 -3 -5 w.e battles before I'm told to kill myself or w.e els because I suck. Or did somthing wrong. It's taken me almost this long just to figure out and bind most controls. The game isn't that easy for me on console. N between premium seal clubbers n toxic people, i dont say a word or ask anything in chat..IDk what my point is. I love the game and I want to succeed but it's been a rough road
IMO, when you use high percentage boosters in Warthunder you get put on a losing rigged team from the beginning most of the time. I also believe most of the matches are rigged in your favor or against before the match even begins. Literally 8/10 games I play are all one sided matches. Only a few are actually competitive. The way they do match making is garbage too IMO.
i can relate to warthunder grandpas who remember fondly older days of the game, i did like the classic wow most but bruh, you gotta face the reality of either the game gets old or gets improved and content added.. its rare to have this old game with player amount warthunder has. but i cant stand all the whine posts about everything everyday.
Birds of steel was the released version before it became War Thunder, I think it was released on PS3 to raIse money for War Thunders development, it was an awesome game at the time, just Air arcade and realistic like early WT. I reckon a Birds of Steel decal as an homage to the beginnings would be prtty cool. The Pacific campaign was the exact same one that exista in WT.

Americas only redeeming factor in top tier is their cas capability with the F16C and their overall great aircraft. The issue is Russia has the most busted AA system that outclasses anything else in the game by a mile making the US tech trees only advantage irrelevant.
I don't know about anyone else but I think the guy who made the post described in this video has fallen into the "This game that I love so much has now become super frustrating to play due to all these changes so I've got to find a way to continue having fun while still playing all the stuff I enjoyed before and keep playing as if nothing had really changed at all" mindset, sorry but I can't think of a better way to put it, a mindset like that can be hard to break out of especially if it involves something that you've put a considerable amount of time and effort into, I think that's one reason why this person is still playing this "dying" game 7 years later, that's my two cents.

I mean get premium account and your problem is solved with higher sl boost on vehicles, no repair costs. Hello. I am a moron, and I like WT. I started playing last October? November? I dislike with a passion low tier GRB, and currently, after getting a Turm III (that tank just opened the flood gates for me), just realized that high tier is the place for me. Once I realized that I want high tier I proceeded to purchase the Christian II and the... ummm 90210 whatever the name is. Conclusion? I LOVE HIGH TIER. Stabilizer, speed, all of it. Thanks to the Godly Turm III I got the Gepard, which is the awesomest AAA ever (CAS has been a problem for me. Can't fly for $hit either). Currently, I am alternating between German and Sweden tech trees. I am having fun. I like insta-deaths at high tier. I am less frustrated than at low levels, like 4-6.7, where Germany dominates when n00bs like me because I have no idea what to do about Tiger I/II, and when I am playing them tanks (Tigors FTW), I get decimated because - well, the other players are not n00bs. Is this game dying? Maybe. Am I going to play like crazy for the next decade? Don't think so. The rush go away in a bit, but for now, I am having fun I do realized how how callous I might sound, after shelling 3-4 hundies in a free-to-play game getting super ultra Premiums. Anywayyyyy... One thing that was not discussed/explained/didn't get: - what the was thing about the USA tech tree class action stuff? I don't get it. But again, I am a moron. So I am in good company.

The american tech tree is getting raped, ive had to switch to the ussr playing grb at the same br and now im getting more than one kill a game, shit i had 10-12 games getting a minimum of 6 tank kills at 1-2 air kills. Its not a skill issue is a balance issue, i can pen constantly at 10.0 up to 11.7 yet not for my american tanks who get one shot through my turret cheeks

I feel like spall liners have been the worst addition for as long as I can remember, top tier got significantly harder especially when youre in the abrams fighting leopards 6/7. On top of that half your team dies immediately becsuse they bought their way to the top.
But let us be honest, a lot of Gaijin's "mechanics" are based around nerfing/breaking shit because they are too lazy to balance BRs. Take British solid shot and APDS, in real life they were good rounds, in WT they are a pathetic joke thanks to Gaijin's busted AF volumetrics meaning a Panther turret can't be penned by a 300mm pen APDS, and don't get me started on aircraft cannons as it is so "realistic" to see 30mm ADEN or 20mm Colt slam round after round into a bird only to get "hit" for 0 damage. I seriously doubt a single person here would argue that War thunder wasn't better before volumetric and Realshitter but rather than admit they made a mistake they will keep putting band aids on bullet wounds and just making bigger messes.
BTW 300mm pen APDS can easily go through UFP of a panther there is no need for shooting the mantlet. I am currently going through 17 pounder gun on a centurion mk1 and i don't have any problems with pathers whatsoever soo... I agree post pen dmg is somtimes awful but at the end of the day, well it is what it is.

Have a friend go into custom battle with a Panther and test for yourself, it'll show in hangar it will pen but in the game it will more likely than not just shatter, even Spookston labeled British APDS "The most useless round in War Thunder". Watch his Centurian Mk V vid and you can see yourself as it shatters harmlessly on Panthers.

remember the modifications were introduced in update 1.33 back in 2013 and I really wanted to play the flying boat event "floats" once again

I haven't touched the game since October... I played for 7 years and I have finally hit a breaking point. It's truly sad. I find myself launching the game and sitting in the lobby for 5 min before completely closing the application.
Yeah had the same issue 2015, i switched to WOWS and after the company botched it even more than WT, i came back.
Yeah, I'm getting pretty close to stepping away from the game.
I actually realized I may not be having as much fun as I thought, so I put together a spreadsheet when I play that tracks what nation I play, what BR, win losses, kills, and the most important section: Did I enjoy the battle (3 columns: Good, Meh, Bad).
The data has been eye opening to me, but I don't want to stop until I have a sufficient data size. Right now my after match "feeling" is I marked "good" less than half of the GRB matches I play.
ARB is worse, with me feeling overwhelmingly negative at 80% "bad" game feeling in ARB, which the realization has turned me off to the game mode completely.

Ever since I lost my 900 day log in streak I don't really care about losing stuff, since I noticed, that nobody cares about the stuff I get ingame.
Ever since I had way more fun in WT.
I've been playing this game since 2013 on PC the entire time. The main issue me and so many people have with the game is for 2 key reasons.
1) The grind becomes horrendous once you hit post WW2 and onwards. Early coldwar stuff is some of the most unfun stuff in the game due to how massive the maps balloon up to and how slow\heavy your vehicles become before returning to better speeds once you hit the 60-70's.
2) The extreme lack of variety. It's the same game modes from over a decade ago and it really is downright boring. The PVE stuff is so barebones and has been neglected for a long time now. There's also needing to be new modes like that late WW2 Rush mode they did one year, or even the WW2 history one. Just something to make it fresh and not stagnant.
The game is fair, the only nations i have had problems with is early Italy, early Britain and early Japan
I just want to vibe in my spitfires, 109s and yaks but some people just won’t let me bc they think the world is ending and have to blame gaijin for it just leave me alone
I have to admit (because I am compelled to do so), having some rank V and VI premiums in events would be nice. They still can't grind top tier, but it would be far more useful for me with most of my trees.
Key to not being bothered by 80% of the things that these people are whining about: stop treating top tier like it IS warthunder. Just enjoy the lower BR vehicles and stop stressing the grind, you'll have way more fun. Higher tier is no more fun than mid tier. If anything it's less fun, because of the sweaty try hards and the toxic whiners.

High tier premiums are problematic imo, needs addressing
Gaijin should introduce ranked system for war thunder where you play against other teams of player for higher rank. Like what world of Tanks blitz had. And for each achieved rank you get some SL, or boosters, or premium time or premium vehicles for highest ranks.
I think this would actually help the game. Because most people play League of legends just to show off their rank.
I am top tier in USA, USSR, Italy, and Isreal. I only come back when they add new stuff. Get the new toys have fun with them for a little while than I go back and do something else. It took me a long time to realize Warthunder is a time and money sink that I didn't want to be a part of anymore. I still enjoy the game and enjoy it even more when I play it in such small doses.
since 2012 a warthunder player and for the last 3 days I feel like cheaters are all over 10.0 and the Grind is just near impossible!!!even today played for 2 hours at 10.0 and managed to grind 25k in ground batles with premium account and a premium tank!!it´s just painfull
As a US main? It can be ruff, yet we get a LOT of nice things. Mabey is not the best, but plenty of options across land, sea, and air.
I play at ww2 tier and what often happens is I shoot and penetrate a t34 57mm two times with the firefly gun and then he just slowly turns his fat ass to look at me and oneshots me. Also I’m hearing that challengers and leapords and Abraham’s are getting their asses kicked by useless high tier Russian tanks which seem to get destroyed by everything in real life

You don´t have to buy every tank or plane, i only buy the vehicles i need and enjoy. The game is designed to make you SL poor, you don´t have to cave in. I´m not a super player and i´m not broke, i hoover around 12-16 mil SL. Even after i bought the aces for nearly all hightier tanks, i had 9 mill left.
The worst thing about the battle passes is it locks air rewards behind ground challenges and vice versa, this something the snail should take a note from epic on since fortnite doesn't lock festival (Music) rewards behind the br pass and instead sells it as a smaller pass that's gamemode specific

the battlepass literally gives you a free premium, this BP its the IL8, which is an amazing vechicle, and the warbonds shop gives you 6 fun lowtier premiums depending on how much you play, the economy is now profitable, i can play a 4.7 game without premium in my italy lineup and make 60k sl without boosters averaging 5-6 kills and a cap or two, it seems like a skill issue if your constantly broke, maybe change nations or learn a good playstyle that suits you

I have been playing war thunder for years, I enjoy playing only mid-tiers, once I unlock top tier vehicles, that was that I went right back to mid-tiers, I don't want the game to become a second job for me, it's there to enjoy, enough with my job that I have, at the end games in general should be somewhere to chill, once you're done with work or what ever chore you do during the day.
as a guy with 6000hours in escape from tarkov and about 8000 hours on warthunder i can say that warthunder dosent have a problem at all with cheaters ofc there are some but its kinda rare too find a cheater in warthunder where is in tarkov you can ones you are experience enough you can sniff out a radar cheater in like 30% of all lobbies you join
It's definitely getting worse pretty steadily in WT, while not as bad as other games yet.

Now 3.7 is just a fun BR in ground.
I would say the rampant exploiting / cheating needs to get sorted out before anything else. It used to just be "Ah it's war thunder. Just been Gaijin'd" etc etc as random janky stuff or just a really skilled / experienced player would happen upon you, and it was once maybe twice per gaming session.
Now it's blatant aimbots / wall hacks every 5 games or so... Really really sad 😢
The only point I agree with is that bots lessen the naval experience especially at high tiers. The bots on your team seem to be disruptive and ram you and should you spawn in a plane you discover the power of aimbots.
In old times bouth xp55 and xp50 werent op, one got masive turn rate buff other got air spawn

Unfortunate most players learn how good USA air tree is only when they start playing other nation and get some experience in game.
I personally adore 99% of USA aircraft's, but dem random team mates with IQ of room temperature (most of the time) kill my enthusiasm after like 3-4 game.
But when you are in 3-4 man squadron Dem is it good time (well most of the time 😁).

also P47 is my favorite american prop plane,its suprisingly good in a dogfight
ghost bombers run ramptant, even recently 14:30 my air cream and butter is at 6.0ish props, and the amount of ghost 288s flying around is horrendous, especially in my p51 i run into them, when im in my f8f with 20mms it isnt asmuch of a problem because i kill them 1.5kms out before there gunners get in range
my personal biggest gripe about the game, which most people will say "skill issue" to, is either you dominate one game or you get waffled stomped the next.
I really want to see new game modes, got into naval and its "Almost" the same as GRB unless you play naval EC which is only available thursday through mid sundayish pending timezone.
i love mid to high tier, but it is just plagued with CAS. Pull an anti air and you become public enemy number one 3 bombs and 5 rockets later youre a crater with only one air kill... in my case that one is a friendly because VADs is not good... suck with that thing.
As much as i hate saying it, and i really mean HATE, bring in skill based matchmaking and maybe a ground only game mode, that or make air in general hard to get. Started playing again this week bounced two rounds and had enough to spawn a plane.

I must be in a minority here. I couldn’t give a 💩 about high tier stuff. I don’t like modern tanks, and only play WWII and as I have all the vehicles I want, I only play for fun.
I play GRB and throw a new plane into my line up that I’ve not played in a while. Like the P-61A, the Whirlwind Mk.I, G.55 etc., to make it varied.
People should try this as an approach. I’m a non-premium time player and recently blew 50,000,000 SL on the dragon boxes. Got a few nice premium planes, and SL just isn’t a problem.
Why people go nuts for top tier is beyond me.

This fall only comes to develop, their errors are to have saturated the “main trees” with content, neglecting the other nations. No content, no possibility of being effective in the game and therefore a frustration which slowly sets in until a quick glance during major updates.
Im still here, but im slowly dying with warthunder and playing less and less and only do 3 games shoting tanks who cant get killed from my shells and i leave, to much cheating and hacks in game now and a game that is working worse than ever before (depends to much where you are in the world).

My original account got hacked and stolen when i moved country. had to change email when i moved and i couldn't retrieve the account because i didnt have access to my old email. Gaijin wouldn't return my account even though i had alot of billing info and general info about the account.... gaijin doesn't care about make effort for individual players.... which is understandable as a business... but they do listen to the community witch is still 10x better then what a company like EA does.
Revert the economy change for SL and focus on winning the match to get the majority of SL. Increase Win bonus for SL/RP so people want to learn to win games. Lets say a Loss nets 20% of potential SL. People will learn quick or go broke.

I know people complain about this game. Still enjoy it over like world of tanks. For example, sure, sometimes the game can be a bit of suffering, but it's still fun, and as recently as we've seen and hopefully it continues. Gaijin has been listening to us.

to be fail there are usually some broken smith around in every BR and "somehow" it usually happens to be the newest stuff around, so you might spade/buy it... and they are not afraid to bait people into buying stuff and the denying refunds after a blatant cashgrab..
Like the su25, that came in 9.3, despite being blatantly overpowered on test server. Then after ONLY 2 HOURS of the patch coming out, it got bumped up to 9.7.. they just so happened to "forget" notifying people about it being upBRd for the preorder period.

My only issue with WT at present is their lack of ability to control the portion of the playerbase that is cheating. Aside from that I've grown indifferent to the other issues.

1 They have come to their senses last year and implemented the roadmap
2. The continuous blundering of Wargaming pushed people to WT (like myself)

the only problem i see in this game is the top tier. maps are not made with "Top tier" aspects in mind, rather, just a low or mid tier map made into top tier, you can already see where the problem lies with that. Adding weather effects into those maps along with every map is nice but it doesnt solve the core problem.
The most Problem of this Game is the Players with no skill they have no understanding of MAps and how to Play them at the Time i play per Day 4-5 Hours but since this week , it makes no sense there is no way to level one thing when you lose 99% of the Game and its no Fun so 1-2 Day when it not getting better i am out.Done because Player with massive skill issue.Btw. i play only high tier

Top tier sucks. And it sucks that it sucks. I rarely venture past 6.0-8.0, and when I do go to 11.0 or higher I'm reminded why top tier sucks so much. But it's still mostly fun in low and mid tier.
I've been trying to play for about a year now. I'm only lvl 37 because I can't stand people in the game.I try to play every day. But I only succeed in 2 -3 -5 w.e battles before I'm told to kill myself or w.e els because I suck. Or did somthing wrong. It's taken me almost this long just to figure out and bind most controls. The game isn't that easy for me on console. N between premium seal clubbers n toxic people, i dont say a word or ask anything in chat..IDk what my point is. I love the game and I want to succeed but it's been a rough road
IMO, when you use high percentage boosters in Warthunder you get put on a losing rigged team from the beginning most of the time. I also believe most of the matches are rigged in your favor or against before the match even begins. Literally 8/10 games I play are all one sided matches. Only a few are actually competitive. The way they do match making is garbage too IMO.
i can relate to warthunder grandpas who remember fondly older days of the game, i did like the classic wow most but bruh, you gotta face the reality of either the game gets old or gets improved and content added.. its rare to have this old game with player amount warthunder has. but i cant stand all the whine posts about everything everyday.
Birds of steel was the released version before it became War Thunder, I think it was released on PS3 to raIse money for War Thunders development, it was an awesome game at the time, just Air arcade and realistic like early WT.
I reckon a Birds of Steel decal as an homage to the beginnings would be prtty cool.
The Pacific campaign was the exact same one that exista in WT.
A shame the birds of steel multiplayer is pretty much non-existent now, or so I've heard.

Americas only redeeming factor in top tier is their cas capability with the F16C and their overall great aircraft. The issue is Russia has the most busted AA system that outclasses anything else in the game by a mile making the US tech trees only advantage irrelevant.
They really need to do a new gameplay, new game mods we have been capture de point D for over 10 years...
I don't know about anyone else but I think the guy who made the post described in this video has fallen into the "This game that I love so much has now become super frustrating to play due to all these changes so I've got to find a way to continue having fun while still playing all the stuff I enjoyed before and keep playing as if nothing had really changed at all" mindset, sorry but I can't think of a better way to put it, a mindset like that can be hard to break out of especially if it involves something that you've put a considerable amount of time and effort into, I think that's one reason why this person is still playing this "dying" game 7 years later, that's my two cents.

I mean get premium account and your problem is solved with higher sl boost on vehicles, no repair costs. You're not going to get everything for free like that so bite the bullet, get a year premium when it's on sale for $40 or keep paying repair costs, but definitely stop hoping that gaijin is going to give u those things for free, it ain't gonna happen

Hello. I am a moron, and I like WT.
I started playing last October? November?
I dislike with a passion low tier GRB, and currently, after getting a Turm III (that tank just opened the flood gates for me), just realized that high tier is the place for me.
Once I realized that I want high tier I proceeded to purchase the Christian II and the... ummm 90210 whatever the name is.
Conclusion? I LOVE HIGH TIER. Stabilizer, speed, all of it.
Thanks to the Godly Turm III I got the Gepard, which is the awesomest AAA ever (CAS has been a problem for me. Can't fly for $hit either).
Currently, I am alternating between German and Sweden tech trees. I am having fun. I like insta-deaths at high tier. I am less frustrated than at low levels, like 4-6.7, where Germany dominates when n00bs like me because I have no idea what to do about Tiger I/II, and when I am playing them tanks (Tigors FTW), I get decimated because - well, the other players are not n00bs.
Is this game dying? Maybe.
Am I going to play like crazy for the next decade? Don't think so. The rush go away in a bit, but for now, I am having fun

The american tech tree is getting raped, ive had to switch to the ussr playing grb at the same br and now im getting more than one kill a game, shit i had 10-12 games getting a minimum of 6 tank kills at 1-2 air kills. But let us be honest, a lot of Gaijin's "mechanics" are based around nerfing/breaking shit because they are too lazy to balance BRs. Take British solid shot and APDS, in real life they were good rounds, in WT they are a pathetic joke thanks to Gaijin's busted AF volumetrics meaning a Panther turret can't be penned by a 300mm pen APDS, and don't get me started on aircraft cannons as it is so "realistic" to see 30mm ADEN or 20mm Colt slam round after round into a bird only to get "hit" for 0 damage.
I seriously doubt a single person here would argue that War thunder wasn't better before volumetric and Realshitter but rather than admit they made a mistake they will keep putting band aids on bullet wounds and just making bigger messes.
BTW 300mm pen APDS can easily go through UFP of a panther there is no need for shooting the mantlet. I am currently going through 17 pounder gun on a centurion mk1 and i don't have any problems with pathers whatsoever soo... I agree post pen dmg is somtimes awful but at the end of the day, well it is what it is.

Have a friend go into custom battle with a Panther and test for yourself, it'll show in hangar it will pen but in the game it will more likely than not just shatter, even Spookston labeled British APDS "The most useless round in War Thunder". Watch his Centurian Mk V vid and you can see yourself as it shatters harmlessly on Panthers.
